Palazzo Salgar

I had stayed here for 4 days, it was an incredible stay, the staff was so welcoming and friendly. I also had breakfast there which was a great selection of fruit cereal and pastries. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was very clean cleaned everyday. The ac worked perfect, no smell or loud noise. With the hotel being next to the road of course you will hear some noise but nothing to complain about. In a really good located area as majority of shops and food is either on the same road or just a 5-10 minute walk away. I also used the gym which was the main necessities and had lovely views from up there. Overall my experience there was amazing and would definitely recommend

We spent two wonderful nights here and couldn't have asked for better. If you're looking for a well connected hotel with pristine rooms and restrooms with extremely cheap restaurant and mini bar services, for those seeking an exceptional stay, this hotel leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is outstanding and super down to earth. This young man at the front desk, Michele, will keep you entertained forever and solve pretty much any incomodity you have.

Well that definitely wasn't a 4-star experience. Old furniture, no robes, no hair conditioner and toothpaste. The shower head was located horizontally on the wall (just why?) so you had to lower the pressure significantly otherwise your whole room would be full of water. The lady at the front desk took a long time to check us in. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place as it does not correspond to its 4-star ranking.

We were pleased with our 2-night stay at Palazzo Salgar. The room itself is decently sized with a large, comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom too. Admittedly, the decor is a little dated in that the color scheme is just quite dark, but that wasn't any real issue. The complimentary breakfast was tasty with a decent variety of continental options. The gym is pretty small (I'd say maxium 2 people at a time comfortably) but great for a basic workout (treadmill, stationary bike, multifunctional weight machine, & free weights). Very walkable location.
