Maschio Angioino Suite

It was run down and pretty loud at night. Could hear everything from outside and through the walls. The place was not cleaned well and the room barely large enough to open the luggage anywhere. Far from the promised 5* hotel.

Accomodation is not as described. Place is dirty, in a run down building , down a side street. Had to leave and stay in another hotel and owner refused to give any sort of refund. He advised that as we didn't cancel 24 hrs prior to arriving , he wouldn't be refunding as it wasn't in their policy. Hard to know that it wasn't going to be as described 24hrs before arriving. Wouldn't recommend at all. The response below from the owner sums it all up. In most reputable places, if you arrive and your room is filthy and the accomadation isn't as was described they would offer an apology at the minimum, not accuse you of giving a bad review because you didn't get a refund Stay away from this place at all costs.

I have been here 3 days, really great experience. Amazing breakfast. Best location close to everything, stuff always ready in case we needed help. I will be back soon to this amazing city and for sure I will go to this place :)))

The suite is on the top floor in a building. They did give clear directions with pictures so that was very helpful. Room was small and neat. The bath stall was extremely narrow in my room though. Breakfast was decent. Very close to the port.
