SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. This hotel is an old building that was a school and a convent. Everything is SUPER OUTDATED including their bed which will break your back, the TINY TVs, The horrible A/C which barely cools off and their bathrooms. I got scammed by Hotel and Google Reviews. Their BUFFET is absolutely HORRIBLE. They literally let the food out in the open even on Summer when the heat is absolutely brutal, you really can't eat anything after 8am from that buffet. Not to mention the limited quality. The view of the city is absolutely NOT WORTH IT.

Beautiful location! Staff are professional and accommodating. Wonderful with allergies. I have several severe allergies and they were very careful. Our room was spacious and we had a sea view. Minor irritants in the air in room. I would have given five stars if it were not so noisy. Due to weddings on three out of the four nights we stayed, music played until early morning hours. It was very difficult to sleep.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated several thoughtful touches! We were greeted with a lovely bottle of champagne in our room upon arrival, which was such a nice welcome. Our room was spacious, the air conditioning worked well, and we had views overlooking the city. The only downside was the music from the terrace, which played continuously throughout the night during our stay. I woke up several times when a song had a louder beat and occasionally even thought I was hearing my alarm. After two nights of broken sleep, we mentioned it to the front desk. The staff member was apologetic and explained that they were experiencing some technical issues, but there was no resolution and unfortunately it did impact our sleep. Aside from the nighttime noise, we enjoyed the spacious room, city views, and help at front desk when needing a taxi.
Very pretty hotel. Location with amazing views. The hotel looks more like a museum than a hotel with gorgeous art and long high hallways with surprisinh rooms. It even looked like there was a mini church inside of this art halls maze situation. The room was simple but nice. Nice view over the city, sea and mount Vesuvius
Physically this hotel is stylish and pretty. But rooms lack some basic features for seasoned travellers. No usb sockets or facilities to make a hot drink. No hooks in the bathroom or mirror in bedroom. Phone has a loose wire so I had to hold it in place to make a call. Beds are comfy. Room is very hot and ac unit is loud. The alternative was to open windows but external noise can also be disturbing. Not all staff are warm or helpful. Some are a little abrupt. There was a private function on the terrace and we were initially told we could not have a drink there. But then they let us as there was no where else to serve drinks. Hotel has spectacular views. Breakfast has a good selection. But we had to ask for coffee and hot water to be hot. They were both cold to start with. The pasta I had for dinner was probably one of the best meals I had in Italy. Taxis into town seem to give us different pricing each time varying from €20-45. My advice is agree the price upfront or insist on meter or take the funicular which is a short walk from the hotel. Turn right. This is cheap and takes you all the way down into the main city. This is a nice hotel with good views and a decent breakfast.
