The room in the photo was bright with a window, the room I got was not, just a side door, very dark. The balcony had no furniture so pretty pointless, and was shared with the adjacent room. Was clean and bed comfy, shower very small and uncomfortable to use. Breakfast was good enough, and the room served in stunning... says served until 10.30 but they start cleaning it all away at 10.15. Staff were friendly and location good. Not good value for money, pretty disappointed.
Great old hotel in the old part of Naples, the room are a decent size, clean and comfortable. They do have quirks and don't expect a gym but the AC works well ( great in the 40°C heat) and the staff are great. A special thanks to Alessandro in the breakfast room/lounge he's friendly attentive, went out of his way to make me a non alcoholic mojito and and to keep breakfast moving smoothly in the morning. He's a 5 star concierge
I strongly recommend Decumani Hotel de Charme for singles, couples, or families. The location is perfect right next to the main street of Naples, making it incredibly convenient to get around.The rooms are pretty roomy and well maintained. The hotel feels like a beautifully modified historic building that has been there since the old times; because of its historic nature, you can catch a slight "old building" scent when you first walk back inside from outdoors, but it just adds to the charm. The staff members are extremely friendly, and the price is very reasonable. Breakfast is pretty good and free, and the breakfast area itself is absolutely beautiful. As a huge plus, the front desk can arrange a taxi to the airport for you for only 21 euros. This is an amazing deal since public transportation cost me 13 euros one way anyway. It is an awesome place to stay and I would definitely come back!
A very nice hotel in an old palace, still being renovated. Small lobby, lots of sitting areas upstairs (but no stairway access which is bad), and a lovely renovated dining and breakfast ballroom. Rooms clean and fine, not fancy. Great location on a quiet alley. Good service all around. Recommended.
In an old mansion or palace. The breakfast room is rather elegant, and breakfast was fantastic! The rooms are nice but not large. The layout and stairs take some getting used to, because of the original architecture. You need to use the elevator to get to the rooms. The location is excellent, walking distance to many tourist attractions.
