Got me where I wanted to go so good overall. The company arranged a pickup for me at the airport, after which I was driven to where the van departed.

Everything was great. Great communication and simple. The busses were reasonable size for the price and boarder crossing (dont forget your yellow fever documents) were all nice and simple. Cant reccomend this company enough for their great service.

Our booking nbo to Arusha was confirmed by WhatsApp quickly...communication was quick, Bus quality and seating was very good (we selected the single window seats..excellent views of kilimanjaro), very safe smoith roads and driving. Convenient stopover near border, excellent fast immigration clearance., tinely arrival in Arusha....slight mixup on hotel name of arrival. Will recommend very much.

The drivers are excellent. My fellow travelers could not say enough about how helpful and knowledgeable they were. I have been to Africa many times and I will only use Marangu . We traveled throughout Kenya and enjoyed it thoroughly.

We drove from Nairobi to Moshi. The trip was supposed to take about 7 hours, but we were delayed by about 1.5 hours. Therefore, do not plan activities on that day. The bus was OK, but definitely not luxury. Keep in mind that you have to pick up the slips at the office, which is located outside the pick-up point. We solved it by calling the person via whats app, at the contact given on the purchased voucher. We picked up the ticket in downtown Nairobi. Several bus companies operate there. Most of them go to Arusha and Moshi in the morning. Even though I'm late, I can recommend this route.

Had a great experience with this company. I missed my connecting flight in Nairobi and wasn’t sure how to get to Arusha- reached out and they were able to arrange me a private shuttle leaving promptly. Driver Joseph was excellent and safe and I had a seamless and enjoyable drive to Arusha- also saw some great scenery and villages which I would have missed on a plane. Price was competitive and way cheaper than a replacement flight. Great work, thank you Marangu shuttles!

Not only the trip was smooth, the company called me a couple of times to make sure the drivers, from my hotel to the pick up point as well as the other way, didn't ask for any extra charge. It was indeed a pleasant surprise. The communication was very clear as well. I'd give them more than 5stars if I could!

They sent a much smaller cramped bus for only 11 of us. For the most part however, the people in the bus were quite nice.

Convenient ride and reliable people. The ride was smooth, no problems on the road, duration of the ride was about 6h from Nairobi to Arusha including stop at the border. Before we got in to the main bus, there was a taxi which took us to the gathering point. It was late a bit, but that didn’t change the time of departure. When the taxi driver was late I texted the company and they told me about the delay, so we were not left alone with nothing. In general contact via What’s app was quick and easy-I could almost any time get an answer. All in all highly recommended company!

Service was very professional, they picked us up on the location arranged with a private taxi to bring us to the bus station. Enough space, clean and luxury. The driver missed our arrival and without doubt they provided us a private transfer to bring us to destination. Definetly I will use this company anytime I need transfer from airport to Arusha ! The shuttle was fairly priced to Arusha however I do think the company should do a better job when reaching the border explaining the process with immigration. We had never crossed the border by land before. We were shuffled through immigration like a bunch of cattle and it was very confusing. I think the shuttle company should take the extra time to make sure when leaving one country and entering another they have the proper documentation. We did not and nobody checked our passports for entry in to Tanzania. We just walked right in. We didn’t have that sort of luck leaving. We got detained by police at a checkpoint and abandoned by the shuttle company leaving Tanzania and left by the side of the road. The police then robbed us and we had to hitchhike to the border where we were detained again. What a mess… I will not be using these shuttle services again.

The transport was really good. Wilfried organized a pick up a long the road near my hostel. I felt safe and migration was without any complications. Also when I arrived the driver was so kind to contact my hostel for a pick up and saved me from the taxi drivers.

The shuttle left 2hrs after it was scheduled. Driver got very tired during the ride but did not take a break. On a positive note, communication with the company was good and responsive, the driver made sure to contact our pick-up at arrival.

I have used this service twice and found the drivers to be skilled, accommodating, and professional. The vehicles are clean and appear well maintained, and the management is good to deal with. This company was recommended by a Kenyan friend as the most reliable and affordable way to travel in comfort from Nairobi to Arusha. NBO-Ausha-NBO. I got picked up in Arusha at the Backpackers Hotel on time by driver Juma. The transferred buses at the shuttle area in Arusha. The driver back to NBO was more than helpful as I encountered problems with Kenyan Health officers at the border. On my original drive to Arusha , the Kenyan official old me my PCR test was good for 12 days so I did not get a test in Arusha since I was only getting a n evisa to return home to NBO. Kneyan health officials did not buythe good for12 days PCR testand would notlet me back into Kenya. Through the help of my driver, I was able to get back into Kenya after being away for 6 days plus the driver helped me get my evisa and PCR tests printed at the border. In future, don't believe what an official says as rules on pCR tests can change overnight, but do trust your Marangu driver. Thanks again to him and staff.

It was a great service. I was reassured that I was able to contact them beforehand on whatapp. We went to the meeting point and from there we were able to get to Arusha with much more peace of mind. The meeting place was told on whatapp. It was hard to tell where to get off in Arusha, so I think it would be nice to have a description.
