About Activity
After your morning game drive in Nairobi National Park, where lions, rhinos and giraffes roam against the backdrop of the city skyline, make your way to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust within the park, arriving by 10:45. Run by Angela Sheldrick in the grounds of her late mother Dame Daphne Sheldrick's home, this world-renowned orphanage rescues and raises orphaned elephants and other wildlife. During the daily visiting hour, from 11:00 to 12:00, watch the young elephants enjoy their mud baths and bottle feeds, and meet the keepers who care for them around the clock. The team is always happy to answer questions about their remarkable work. Depart at around 12:15, returning to your hotel or the city centre by approximately 13:00.
