The day was well planned according to the itinerary. Our guide Peter arrived on time and also so much knowledgeable about the park and animals . The car was so clean, comfortable and of good condition.i would like to recommend this company and also planning to have another trip with them.
Our car broke down twice and we wasted several hours waiting for a new car to come get us. The second car was so old and unsafe we demanded it to be replaced which caused more waiting. The communication was really bad and we didn’t see half of the itinerary due to this delay. Lunch was also poorly executed. I would not do this tour again.
It was amazing with John. Well organised
The pick up of the tours in Nairobi was good and the driver arrived on time. Excellent experience with Valley Rocks Tours,Our driver was very careful and professional from Nairobi to Nakuru National Park. The visitors spent a full day well until evening and saw so much. He was patient, knowledgeable and made sure the visitors had enough time at every stop.
Fair quality of the trip in many aspects. We saw many flamingos and rhinos.
During my trip to Kenya I went to 4 different safaris, and this was one of my favourites. I was the only one who had booked a tour on this day and despite thinking I was going to be joining a group, I ended up getting a private tour experience instead. Many other providers would have cancelled but I'm very grateful that my trip to Nakuru was not cancelled and I was picked up right on time. Peter was a delight, he was extremely knowledgeable and helped me learn about warthogs, buffaloes, giraffes and zebras. I had already gone for safaris before so knew a little bit but he was able to teach me new facts about these amazing animals. He also let me take my time at Rift Valley and then again during lunch. This tour was great, and was great value for money. My favourite moment was getting to see wild a whole tower of Rothschild giraffes up close. Peter knew exactly where to drive to beat the crowd. Would definitely recommend.
Peter was the man, very supportive and helpful!! Got us to all the right places, helped us with anything we needed and got us safely from place to place. Thank you so much Peter for your services!
Peter was amazing!! He had all the facts for the animals and was very sweet and accommodating the entire trip.
We had only one day fee after busses week. We booked this trip and it was cool. I recommend them
My family was so happy visiting lake nakuru national park. John was well cumulative regarding animals habitat. I recommend John and the organisation for great service 👍
Many credits to John who was our charming tour and energetic guide, he made our trip the most memorable moment, we was searching for different wildlife animals, especially the most known big 5 animal we were able to spot almost all of them, thank you for your great service.
Our tour guide John showed us the best of the best at Nakuru National Park. He was punctual and we left feeling satisfied. Even finished off our great day with a local meal!
Lake nakuru was amazing, John was making sure we spotted many animals us we can. Mostly lion hunting. I give the company credit for nice combination. Thanks John for great job. I recommend
Pick-up was punctual and seamless, drop-off the same. Once at the park, I met Peter, the driver and guide. Super knowledgeable and friendly, his eyes found animals I would not have seen. I appreciated the unique characteristics he highlighted for each encounter. Special day and great first “safari” experience!
Peter was amazing guide well known of habitat of animals. I can os five office credit for quick response. Regarding pick up and drop off was well done. At stopover we enjoyed quick souvenirs shipping. Thank team valley rock tours
It was an amazing experience. One of the best that you can do in Kenya. The landscape in Nakuru NP is fantastic but lake Naivasha is like living in a fairytale. Paul (our driver ) was really friendly and helpful but the only things tha we didnt like it was that they asked to pay 30 usd per person for the boat ride while in our package the price was 25 usd per person and the whole day we didnt have bottles of water (in a very hot day ) that they were also included in our itinerary. This is the only reason we didnt rate with 5 stars.
Overall this was a good trip. Kelvin the guide was great. Friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to ensuring I saw as much as possible. The only down side was the lunch stop. The buffet food was subpar. I would have rather paid less for the trip and ordered off the menu and paid for my lunch.
The tour with Kelvin was great. We saw many wild animal and he showed me animals I wouldn't have seen and explained me a lot about the animals and the park. We stopped when asked and also to show me beautiful places and viewpoints.
It was a fantastic day. There were only two of us on this trip so very relaxing! The roads were horrendous in parts but Kelvyn was a very skillful driver. We saw lots of animals and our guide was very knowledgeable.i was sad there were only a few flamingoes in the park but we had missed prime viewing time. Very worthwhile
It was an amazing experience to view many Giraffes, Rhino, wild buffalo, and a beautiful view on the Lake with many Flamingos and pelicans. Guide was from Valley view travel & had good knowledge of the places where to go. In 3 hrs covered full game drive. Just a suggestion: They start so early that we miss hotel breakfast which starts at 6 should think about that. Also for Lunch drivers/ guide need understand Special need of vegetarian food
We contacted this company at last minute but they arrange the trip very easy. John pick us at 4am to lake Nakuru with a very nice Jeep car. Regarding park we had amazing time to spot Lion and this was first animal to spot in fast 10 minutes I just say it's worth it. Thank to John the guide
Our recent trip with Valley Rocks Tours was fantastic. Our guide John was incredibly knowledgeable about the areas history. He was also passionate. The tour went as per the itinerary was planned, allowing us to see all the key sight's. We were able to see cheetah with 6 cubs which we've never seen. Also the driver guide explained we were lucky to spot them because it's very rare to spot them. John made sure we've spotted 90% of animals. Valley Rocks Tours made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a well organized and enriching travel experience
The most impressive animals are often distant, but it’s a lovely park. There were no flamingos. I did not appreciate the guide. He was impersonal, dismissive, & not really interested in me as a customer. I sometimes had to point out animals to him for him to notice, he was on his phone a lot, & I had to listen to his music on the 3 hour ride back to Nairobi when I wanted to sleep. He did turn it down upon request, but I wanted to nap & talk to my family & it feels ridiculous that I had to ask at all. He also often held me up to take his own pictures and stopped where he wanted to in order to snap pics on his phone. He felt like more of a taxi driver than a guide. I might give this a better review if the tour company experience was better.
James made sure I had a good experience! When I said I most wanted to see rhinos, he made sure that we drove through the park until we found them. Well worth it. He was also friendly and had a good sense of humor. We had car troubles at the end of the day, but even then he made sure I was taken back to my hotel by another driver.
We had used this company before so we discussed to use them again since they have a good cars and great guide with good savings regardless animals. At lake nakuru we had enough to to spot many animals mostly leopard was my favorite was so happy to see them 2 working at the road. Thank joh for the effort you've been doing
Amazing one day trip in Nakuru lake. Kelvin and Lawrence were very good guides trying to spot animals and were sharing their knowledge. A must see if you are short in time around Nairobi at a reasonable price.
We booked a trip yo lake nakuru national park with valley rocks tours john pick us at the airport on time with a clean car. At the park John was graet guide with all infomation we needrd, I recomend.

Going to Lake NAKURU with Valley Rocks was a wonderful experience! The scenery was 100% worth it and I saw so many animals at the park. My guide Brian is so friendly and enthusiastic about his work. He always checked if I was happy and satisfied with the trip. AND YES, I WAS SO HAPPY!
I was so happy with my driver John on my previous safari that I decided to do another safari with him in Lake Nakuru National Park. And it was the best decision I could have made! John was a fantastic guide here too. He always communicated well with the other drivers via radio so that he could show me the most amazing animals up close. You could tell that he did everything he could, to make me happy. Thanks to him, I saw rhinos up close and even witnessed a large herd of lions crossing the road right in front of our car. I couldn't imagine a better guide. When I return to Kenya, I will definitely go on safari with John again. I have already done several safaris in Africa but have never experienced a driver as attentive, courteous and enthusiastic as John. Everyone who goes on safari in Kenya should go with John!!
We did a full day private tour of Lake Nakuru with an additional boat ride at lake Naivasha. This was our first safari drive of the trip and it set really high expectations! Our driver/guide Peter was on time for our 6am pickup and was amazing through the whole experience. He helped us to spot so many different animals, including what probably ended up being the best photo of the trip - a leopard! Overall it was amazing. 3 hour drive is a bit long but worth it!

We saw many animals but unfortunately no felines. Lake Naivasha is really worth it. The driver drove dangerously, we had a collision. The trip was booked privately, but someone else was in it. There was also no water for us, which was mentioned in the description
