We had Douglas our guide for the afternoon. Yes, took the afternoon tour and had a wonderful time. We saw so many different animals zebras, giraffes, lions, hippos and many more. We had a wonderful day at Nairobi National Park with Kelvin. He was an excellent guide who went out of his way to ensure we had the opportunity to see the animals - including a rare sighting of a Black Rhinoceros. Honestly we booked with Kelvin a few days before. We had already been in Nairobi National Park, but wanted to go back and simply spend time with Kelvin. And am I happy we did, he was a amazing and intelligent. I would recommend anyone travel with him. He was professional and knew everything about the birds and animals and their back stories.
Had a long layover and booked this last minute. So glad I did! Nicole kept our bags in the car and took us back to the airport after the drive. What a drive! Saw a family of rhinos and a pride of lions. Nicole also recommended a Kenyan cuisine restaurant when we asked. She was very knowledgeable, funny, and we really enjoyed our time with her and the tour. Recommend to everyone
Our driver Daniel drove us around for 4 hours around the huge park and we saw many animals: giraffes, rhinos, hippos, baboons, ostriches, impalas, elands, crocodiles, storks, geese, zebras, wildebeest, hart hogs (Pumba). The park has no elephants and we did not get to see any lions or buffaloes. Daniel even drove us to a nice Kenyan restaurant for lunch after the safari and waited for us to eat lunch before taking us back to the hotel. Very nice and convenient safari I strongly recommend.
Calvin provided us with an awesome private tour of Nairobi National Park. We saw many baboons, rhinos, lions, hippos, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, ostriches, and several species of birds and antelope. Calvin was extremely knowledgeable about all of the animals we saw which really heightened our experience. It was truly amazing to see so many animals in such a short time and distance from our hotel. We highly recommend this tour, especially with Calvin as a guide.
What a great day with Douglas. He is so knowledgeable and kind, we learned so much and saw so many animals. The vehicle was perfect because we could stand up and take pictures through the roof, but it also rained and a bit and it was nice to close it then. We would absolutely recommend this tour if you have time in Nairobi.
Wow! Today gifted more than expected! I saw TONS of rhinos, lions, & giraffes, as well as other animals. I told my guide Joel that I wanted to see rhinos & I have pictures for days! I can’t recommend this trip enough. Joel was fantastic. I appreciated that he made the effort to make sure it was special & even took several pictures of me. The trip to Nairobi National Park was absolutely amazing! Kelvin, our guide, really understood the assignment and did an excellent job educating us about the different animals. We were also lucky enough to spot a wide variety of wildlife that day, leaving us with more than enough photos to remember the experience.

We had such a great experience! Our guide for the day was fantastic! Douglas was friendly, knowledgeable, flexible, and professional. We were so happy to spend the day with him. We were especially excited about seeing the rhino and we even got to see a lioness hunting zebra!
Absolutely the right tour to take to see the park, and worth every penny! Definitely worth going private, and also worth paying when booking so that you don't have to pay the entrance fee on side in other tours (easy to overlook the fine print!) Our group had the most amazing time and felt completely taken care of. Kelvin made sure we would see an abundance of animals, tracking them across three radios. He had a sense of humour, loads of cool fresh water bottles, and an instinct for finding the best human-animal encounters. Our only regret is that we three booked under the same name so cannot leave separate reviews to help guide visitors to this quality experience!
This was an amazing experience. Kelvin was a fantastic guide. He had so much knowledge and took the time to find all the animals we wanted to see and let us watch them as long as we wanted. He was absolutely the best guide we could have asked for.
Driver lacked communication and wasn't prepared from when we started the tour. He was taking private calls along the drive. In addition, we could visibly see we were going to get stuck in the mud on a road that wasn't required for us to pass, yet he insisted we go down that path. We did get stuck and lost over an hour of our drive. We were also not offered water to after the drive took place. Plus, he often drove off whilst we were snapping pics or watching the wildlife. Disappointing and not worth the money spent.

On a work trip to Nairobi, a group of colleagues decided to use a down day to visit Nairobi National Park. After a day of researching which company to hire, I landed on Rustic Nature Tours. We got more than our money's worth. Kelvin was our guide, he was extremely communicative from the beginning, reaffirming my decision to trust them with our experience. Kelvin showed up at our hotel a few minutes before our scheduled pick-up time, as soon as the group was ready, we were on our way, ensuring we were one of the first groups into the park. From the beginning it was apparent Kelvin was intimately familiar with the wildlife patterns, displaying a perfect balance of patience and assertiveness to put us in the best position to view the animals without disturbing them. He used every minute of our tour efficiently as we saw what felt like as complete a list of animals as possible. We encountered both Black and White Rhinos, 2 female and 1 male Lions, multiple groups of Zebras, Giraffes Gazelles, Antelopes, Ostrich, Crocodile, Hippos in the water, Buffalo, Warthogs, as well as various species of birds. He also put us in ideal positions to view the vast landscape of the park from multiple angles, capturing the sunrise, Nairobi skyline backdrop, and the Park fading into the gorgeous Kenyan countryside. It was an amazing way to start the day, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in this experience. I will absolutely ensure to by name recommend him to any of my friends who plan a trip through Kenya, and already plan to contact him for my future Kenyan Wildlife Adventures.

My wife and I were met promptly by our now good friend Kelvin, the CEO of Rustic Nature Tours. He met us at our hotel in what I would described as the coolest looking safari vehicle I have ever seen, a true off- road dream. We proceeded to Nairobi National Park and with Kelvin leading the way we bypassed a huge line of others waiting to gain entry. Kelvin had ensured our park access and all paperwork was completed prior to arrival and we literally drove right in. I have to mention that before driving into the park, he raised the entire roof of the Safari Vehicle and side windows creating a private viewing platform to experience the park. This is no basic minivan tour which we saw many. In our opinion, “Kelvins Way” is the one true way to experience the magic of this park. Now to talk about the tour itself!!!! In our travels, my wife and I have our handful of moments when we are truly impressed. Those moments will last us our entire lifetime and is one of the reasons we love to travel. Kelvin and his company Rustic Nature Tours gave us exactly that. It was nothing short of spectacular. Kelvin and his 8+ years of experience took us to areas of the park that no other tour was either aware of or could access. To explain what we saw with words is difficult to summarize but I can say this. Being 4 feet away from a Lion and having the opportunity to hear the “roar” of the king, seeing a pride of Lionesses and their baby cubs basking in their den, and going to a watering hole on the far side of the park with nothing less than what looked like entire animal population of the park coexisting was a memory my wife and I will take forever. Kelvin is a most genuine person, my wife and I are thankful we met him and his company. He literally went above and beyond to show us the wonders of Nairobi. We are returning to Africa on our next trip and plan to meet up with our new friend again to experience an 8 day safari. Kelvin and Rustin Nature Tours literally made our entire vacation and we will never forget what he gave to us.
Did this beautiful tour with Kelvin and our driver Peter. They picked me up at the hotel and drove me to the stunning National Park. He made sure we had some once-in-a-lifetime views: mom rhino with her calf, a pride of female lions enjoying a meal, a close up at buffalos, etc. A trip I’ll never forget and for sure I’ll be coming back to do bigger safaris with him! Kelvin is lovely. He's knowledgable, dedicated, and trustworthy as a tour guide. He was early to pick us up and even though there were issues with the park's payment service, Kelvin made everything work for us. We saw literally every big type of animal there is to see in Nairobi National Park and had a wonderful experience overall. I highly recommend him as a tour operator!
Had a fun day trip with Kelvin and Dennis, definitely recommend doing if you are pressed for time. They both were knowledgeable on everything Kenya, easily spotted various wildlife in the national park and can get you to the key picture spots at the sanctuaries. Moreover, they were able to adapt the itinerary to what we wanted to see and do on our very last day - which included shopping and having local foods for lunch. The private tour provided a more personal experience of Nairobi.
What an incredible experience on this tour! We went to the Natural Park of Nairobi, the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, the Giraffe Center and the Beads Factory. The safari was a breathtaking adventure, allowing us to witness the beauty of nature up close. Experiencing the elephants orphanage was heartwarming, seeing the dedicated care given to them. The Giraffe Center, was truly unforgettable. I must mention that what made the tour even better was the amazing tour guides, Kelvin and Dennis, who made the journey even more enjoyable with their enthusiasm, friendly nature and knowledge - there was no one question that popped from our curiosity for which they didn't have the answer to, and in depth. They also went out of their way to address our needs, such as trying their best to make sure we saw all the animal, taking us to a bit of shopping, taste local cuisine and overall that we have the best experience. Highly recommended! Coming back with my family so wait for me again!
The safari tour was an unforgettable experience, and so was the trip to the elephant orphanage! The Bomas of Kenya was an excellent place to learn about the rich history of Kenyans and feeding the giraffes was the highlight of my trip. Thanks to Steve, who was an exceptional tour guide and I highly recommend his and Kelvin’s city tour!

The national park tour was everything I thought it would be. Our tour guide was prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable about animals and wide life. Driving through the large expanse of land and seeing animals and the wonderful landscape was an exhilarating experience for I and my wife.
Kevin was amaizing, very tentative to the wishes of the group. He did his most so we could see all the animals within the park, he also gave us a tour of around places. He was timely, listened to all our requests and did his best to accommodate us. The ride was smooth, the vehicle was good. Loved the experience overall as it was much better than expected. Where do I begin … I made sure to conduct thorough research on a half day trip because it is my first time in Kenya for work and I didn’t want to ruin the one day I get off before traveling back with one time experience. That said, I did do my research and I found the best of the best, Kevin. He is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, knows the best spots, goes beyond to provide you what others can not get, is always ready and will try his best to give you the big 5 and cultural experience. Booked the tour with Rustic Nature Tours the day before. Guide advised us on best time for a drive and arrived on time. Spent about 3 hrs in the park seeing wildlife that had not encountered while at Masai Mara. Guide circled back when he had info from other guides about sightings so his focus was making sure we saw as much as possible. Friendly, always stopped when requested and provided good wildlife information. Saw rhino, Cape Buffalo, giraffe, lions and more. Great way to end our stay in Nairobi and Kenya.

A wonderful vista and visit with the big 5 today (well one was babies of one of the big 5!). It exceed led our expectations and was impressive (my partner said as good as out in the Masai!). George provided some special touches that made it even better - a must do day for everyone!
This entire experience was one I will never forget. We says the majestic lion, so many zebra and tons of other animals that were just a beautiful vision of nature. And while the park was ok, Kelvin made the visit truly an experience. He is very informed, very kind and considerate. He is the only tour guide I would recommend so if he’s not available, trust his judgement for any substitutions. He made our trip to Nairobi and truly splendid one.

Kelvin is an awesome tour guide. He is professional, friendly, and prompt. We were a group of 15 and needed to add one more person. He accommodated us and made sure we had two safari jeeps that could fit us. The safari was so nice. We not only saw the wildlife, we were educated by Kelvin on each species which was nice. The national park is vast and an amazing view. You can not go wrong with this company. As a large family, it's not always easy to do tours. With Kelvin, it was smooth sailing from beginning to end.

We had an amazing day driving through Nairobi National Park! We had such a great time with him on our Sheldrick/giraffe tour that we immediately booked this half-day park drive with him the next day. This was an amazing experience and perfect way to see Nairobi National Park! Kelvin is such a knowledgeable guide and knew how to prioritize which animals to see first. We saw lions, black and white rhinos, giraffes, ostrich, buffalo, zebras and many birds! Kelvin knew so much about each type of species and had answers to all my questions. He expertly spotted animals along the way and put us in the best view points to take pictures and experience the animals in the wild.
