Pick up was on time. Driver was friendly, funny and patient. It was a good drive. I enjoyed it.

Shem was a great tour guide from the pick up location yo the game drive and drop off. Will recommend
Shem is a very active and compassionate guide and he knows his work in the park I recommend Shem for the safari
Shem was amazing. Great experience would do another!
My husband and I had a lovely safari experience with Kenya Bush Expedition. At first, I didn’t realize the modified buses were called “vans,” so I felt a little disappointed. Our guide, Erick, assured us we’d still have a great experience and he certainly delivered. The highlight was spotting a lioness during the final leg of our tour. That made the whole experience worthwhile. We saw the amazing big 4 as there are no elephants in the park. It was incredible to see giraffes, zebras, ostriches, a pumba, rhinos, hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, lion, antelope and many beautiful birds and creatures in their natural habitat. It was actually beyond incredible. Pickup was seamless, and the instructions were clear. We didn’t receive Wi-Fi, and when I asked, the company said it was available from the driver. Honestly, though, you’ll be so immersed in the experience that you won’t need it. You’ll want to take photos and videos to look back on and share later, but they can’t compare with seeing the wildlife in person. A livestream would have taken away from the moment. Erick is also a great photographer 😁. Thank you for the amazing photos, especially the ones of my husband and me. We have memories to last a lifetime. Overall, it was good value for money. Erick was a wonderful guide, and I’d definitely recommend Kenya Bush Expedition. I’ll be booking another safari on my next trip to Nairobi.
Shem is an excellent guide and a good communicator he shown his broad knowledge about animal in the park we sow a lot in a short span of time
For anyone looking to experience a Safari without spending multiple days and a small fortune I highly recommend the half day National Park tour in Nairobi. Our guide was excellent and managed to come across rhinos, hippos, crocodile, antelope, Giraffe, Zebra and a lioness on the hunt! A top few hours enjoying animals in their natural habitat. Highly recommend!
Shem was an expert guide, and a wonderful companion for our half day tour. Found lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, crocodiles, ostriches and many other species. Really recommend this if your stay in Nairobi is limited.
Experience was amazing! Shem was a great tour guide and an A+ driver!
The mini bus was very uncomfortable and inappropriate for the field. My stomach was in my mouth every minute. Admission fee to the park too much for maintaining nothing at the park.
I had a wonderful and memorable experience on the Nairobi National Park Half-Day Tour. It was an amazing opportunity to explore Kenya’s wildlife and enjoy the beauty of nature without having to travel far from the city. The experience was exciting, relaxing, and truly worth it for anyone who loves wildlife, nature, and adventure. One of the best things about this tour is the opportunity to see wild animals in their natural habitat while enjoying the beautiful landscapes of the park. Nairobi National Park offers a unique experience because you get to appreciate wildlife with the Nairobi city skyline in the background. It is something special and a great reminder of how beautiful and diverse Kenya is. The half-day tour is also a convenient option for people who have limited time but still want to enjoy a safari experience. It allows you to explore the park and appreciate its wildlife without committing to a full-day trip. Whether you are a local resident, a first-time visitor to Nairobi, or a tourist exploring Kenya, this tour offers a memorable way to connect with nature. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a short but exciting wildlife adventure in Nairobi. It is a lovely way to appreciate Kenya’s natural beauty, create lasting memories, and enjoy a different side of the city. If you are visiting Nairobi and looking for a safari experience that fits into a busy schedule, this tour is definitely worth considering!
This is a great experience but make sure you take plenty of water. Also book the early morning safari if you want to see carnivores.
Had a great and seamless experience with George as our guide. It was a group experience with 7 other people, but we were still able to see the animals. My husband and I were picked up from the hotel right on time and driven directly to the park. You do have to pay the park entrance fee, but worth it. Overall George drove us around for 3 to 4 hours making sure everyone had a great time. Would absolutely recommend for anyone traveling to Nairobi for a quick safari experience.
Great introductory tour close to my hotel. Saw a lot of animals. The guide was great - informative and friendly
Eric was a fantastic tour guide who managed to spot almost all of the animals that we wanted to see. Tour was ended at a Maasai market which felt a bit touristic but you could find most souvenirs. If you need a short tour, go for it, it is very much worth it.
Great day out with Francis our guide and driver. Saw so many animals including 2 lions, zebras, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, impalas, an eagle, herons, ostriches, crocodile, vultures on an afternoon drive. Francis got word that someone spotted a lion and he made a detour and we managed to see the lions! Most educational and enjoyable!!
Best experience ever and i enjoyed seeing the animals live
I am a travel agent and my client reported back that she absolutely enjoyed this experience. As it was her first time in Kenya, the peace she felt booking with this tour and company was excellent. Her driver picked her up and returned her on time, was extremely knowledgable around the history of Kenya, and any questions she had was answered superbly. She said that she would recommend this tour for sure.
Our safari guide was excellent and very experienced. We got to see zebras, giraffes, lions, rhinos, buffalos and lots of birds. He told us all about the animals in detail. Five stars alone for the safari. The car used is exactly like the one pictured. But the guide overall was poorly organized. Once the safari was over, we were meant to have breakfast and after that we were meant to be dropped off – but that portion of the tour was very difficult to navigate. I had to reach out to the tour guide several times to get a response from them about the next steps. It might have been an anomaly this one time, I'm willing to admit that. That's the only reason it was 4 stars and not 5. The admission fee to the park is separate, $80. Carry tissue paper/wet wipes with you as the bathrooms don't have any. Each car seats 8 people max. The safari lasts around 4 hours.
This was an easy safari to visit Nairobi National Park. They picked us up from our place, and our guide, Francis, did a great job to ensure we could see many animals.
After searching for a half day safari we came across Kenya Bush expeditions and from the start they replied promptly to us, helped us arrange a trip and were more than fair with the pricing. The experience we had was amazing and definately worth the money. Our driver and guide, Ben, was highly knowledgeable, the passion for his work shown lots and he was enthusiastic which made the trip that more better. Ben ensured we got to see many of the animals and got us as close as possible to the lion, zebras, rhinos, hippos, giraffes and the other wildlife within the park. Would highly recommend this trip and this company. Competitive prices and a worthwhile experience. Great day had by us
Eric is a good driver and guider! A half of day is a suitable time period for visit.
A wonderful and unforgettable experience!! We were so happy during the journey and we can say this is the best travel experience we've ever taken. Also our guide Eric Mugo he is very nice and we appreciate for his effort. We met different friends and had fun together. Highly recommended!!
Amazing experience! Our guide, Erick was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the entire trip. Highly recommended!
Erick was a great guide. Friendly informative. We were able to see all the animals in the park. A very positive experience with Erick.
Very good experience to see wildlife just a few minutes away from the city.
The trip itself was ok but was rather drawn out .could have done it in less time. We stopped for a toilet break and were given a bottle of water but only at the end of the trip which we could have done with during the trip .At the end of the trip we were taken to a bead making place which was not advertised as part of the trip .No interest to us whatsoever! The guide Frances in our opinion was not very professional.
Perfect Francis was the perfect guide for this tour. Hell Yeah team FRANCIS
Great tour! Nice guide, able to spot some wild life. Nice experience and well organised.
The tour was really great. Pickup and dropoff were included. We literally saw every animal we wanted to see including lions. Francis did a great job explaining so much information about the park and animals. I would like to attend again for a longer tour. However this one was very convenient. A full safari feeling in just a half day by the city.
Francis was amazing. 10/10 Highly recommend
The experience was awesome 👌, the guide Mr. Francis was very kind and helpful, I can't wait to repeat it.
It was a great and wonderful experience. Our tour guide was very helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced. He made the tour enjoyable and provided us with valuable insights throughout the trip. Thank you Francis.
The safari cost says $38 and the park entry fee is $80 which is a small foot note in inclusions and exclusions, very dissatisfied by this treatment.
Booked last minute in the morning of the activity. Very quick communication via the app and WhatsApp surrounding pickup time. During the trip our guide David was very good at spotting animals and would ensure we all had sufficient photos before moving on. We went at midday so saw a few of the big 5 but not all due to the sun being quite strong
Seeing the animals is very rewarding. Lots of zebras, impalas, giraffes, ostriches. Saw rhinos and a crocodile and hippos. Difficult to see lions - this time we saw none. Entrance fee almost doubled from last year and then there were hefty "convenience fees" on top of that. They have no elephants in this park. Guide was about 30 minutes late picking us up.
It has been a great experience, even if the pick up has been delayed because of traffic! we saw plenty of different animals and our guide Tony was very informative on the park and animals, also provided lots of entertainment. Highly recommended!
Delayed pick up early trip completion.
It was a bad experience on many levels. We took the afternoon trip. First of all, while they picked us on time with a shuttle, when we arrived at the park the car that was supposed to come was late for 45 minutes. They kept telling me “on the way, 5 more minutes” for all 45 minutes of delay. As the driver was late and was worried the park would close before we see the animals, he started driving recklessly endangering the animals and animals were crossing while he was speeding up and the animals were scared and kept running. It also led to hitting my head many times and I told the driver to slow down and be mindful a few times. Also, the “guide” was honestly merely a driver. He didn’t explain or speak at all until we asked questions and either didn’t know the answer or said a few words. Also the drop off was not pleasant and there was miscoordination. They were also supposed to give us water as advertised, but they didn’t. I asked the driver about the water he said he wanted to rush because he was late so he didn’t make the stop. Absolutely unpleasant experience. I mean, I’m always happy to do a safari and see the animals, but the organising by this provider was very poor and the dangerous driving endangering the animals is unacceptable. I don’t recommend.
The kids had a great time however our guide was not very good. He would not get close to the animals like the other vehicles & would pass up animals. Children only got to see a couple different things.
Ride from hotel was late by 20 mins, then the driver didn’t know where he was going. If I didn’t have a Kenyan friend with me, I may have missed the tour altogether. Even though the tour says “with breakfast”, none was provided, and the lateness of my ride prevented me from even stopping someplace. No water was offered, no WiFi either. The guides and rangers do nothing except press you for tips for everything you’ve already paid for. “You saw a lion, nice tip”, etc. Finally, there was no ride back to the hotel, although that is included in the price, and I had to get an uber. Find a different service.
This was truly a bucket list experience!! The early wake-up/ pick-up time was so worth it. For anyone considering doing this, let this be your sign. Our tour guide Eric was amazing with his knowledge of the park and the animals and made us feel safe throughout the safari. Thank you Eric!
What an excellent, fun experience! Our guide, Eric, was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and engaging throughout the tour. His passion for what he does truly shines through, making the entire journey even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and informative experience! Had a very good experience. We saw all the animals that the park featured: lions, rhino, ostrich, buffalo, hippo, croc, baboons, vultures and even a serval cat, which was a huge bonus. Eric is a great guide, provided good information and really good at spotting
We had a wonderful time on our safari. Our guide, Erik was excellent both in finding as many animals as possible as well as explaining the types of giraffes, etc. Very informative and relaxing!
Erick is a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend him. Saw pretty much every animal in the park. The tour exceeded my expectations and was worth every penny.
It was realy enjoyed and fun. Eric was a good guide, he provided great driving and explanation during the trip at the national park
The tour was just the right length and we saw a lot of animals. Eric was very good at spotting and getting us around safely. He spotted a serval for us and deterred the baboons from taking anything. I also appreciated his knowledgeable sharing about the animals.
I had so much fun, Eric an amazing guy, showed us a lot of animals. I really enjoyed the ride
We had the most amazing day on the National Park Safari Tour! Our guide, Eric, was outstanding. He was so knowledgeable, gave us all the information we needed, and never made us feel rushed. He happily stopped for every animal we saw, making the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting!
