I had a great experience visiting Nairobi National Park with my guide, Chris. He arrived on time and was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the animals. He kept a sharp eye out for wildlife, and we managed to see many different animals. He was also happy to answer all my questions.
We had a wonderful few hours at Nairobi National Park with our guide. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and attentive. He gave us plenty of space to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere while always being available to answer our questions and share interesting information about the animals and the park. We really appreciated his calm and friendly approach and had a great experience overall. Highly recommended!
Jackson was a wonderful tour guide! He educated us on the park and the animals and our time in National Nairobi Park was amazing! Booking with LiveInLove Kenya tours were great. We booked last minute and they were incredibly responsive and highly recommend them for anyone looking to go on Safari!
This was an amazing experience!! We saw so many animals: lion, hyenas, giraffes, rhinos, zebras and more. Peter was the best!! He made our all female group feel very comfortable! He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a great experience!! Highly recommend!
Since we only had a day to explore Nairobi after a work conference, we booked an early morning join-in game drive and it was excellent! We ended up being the only people on the drive, so we essentially had a private experience. Our guide Chris was so welcoming, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable! The guide company was also very responsive when we had questions about the tour. I would definitely recommend this experience, especially if you don’t have time to do a longer safari!
Jackson was a great guide! He found a lion!
Thank you very much to Mr. ElviSkonto for the excellent service. My friend and I had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed the experience. What impressed us most was that he prepared a complete Chinese-language animal encyclopedia. Whenever we encountered an animal, he could immediately find it in the book and explain it to us. This was extremely friendly and thoughtful for Chinese visitors who are not very confident in English. If I have another chance to visit the national parks in Kenya in the future, I would definitely choose this company’s service again.
I had an excellent experience with the Live in Love company providing the Jeep, driver and tour guide for my Game Drive at Nairobi National Park. The driver was great and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We saw so many animals that were new to me from very close proximity and I can strongly recommend that tour and company from my experience.
The trip was far better than expected. Chris our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and expertly found every animal ! Highly recommend if you have a short time in Nairobi
My driver was very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable, though he was 20 min late. There was also a bit of a communication mix up, he had asked me what my plans were for the day, and I told him, but I think he was trying to ask what the itinerary for the booking was. That really shouldn’t be my responsibility to make sure the driver knows what is a part of the package. It resulted in him thinking that he needed to take me somewhere I wasn’t expecting him to, but then the manager wanted me to pay for the extra fare.
Everything was just perfect. A million thanks to our guide innocent !!!
An amazing, carefree safari! There is something really remarkable about watching the wild animals in their natural habitat with the city skyline in the background. Our driver and guide (Jackson) was outstanding in explaining the history and nature of the park, and the habits and characteristics of the animals. At the entrance of the park , you can see the ivory burn pits, where the government has destroyed all the confiscated ivory siezed from illegal poaching. Hopefully, their efforts will put an end to this barbaric practice. This tour company is first-rate. Most notably they responded to all our short- notice questions through whatsapp and email very quickly and accurately. The vehicle provided was very clean and well maintained, with good shock absorbers and seats. Being older and prone to having back issues , this was very much appreciated. There was a stop at the end of the tour for photos with some Maasai people and a souvenir shop. We were allowed to roam through the shop in peace and quiet with no pressure to buy anything. We also noticed that this stop is listed as "optional" in the tour description. We applaud the tour operator for giving us the option. We followed the advice of other reviewers and used the park website to pre-pay the entry fee. Again, the tour operator helped us with the requirements including the entry gate and vehicle plate number. When paying you need to include the driver/guide along with the vehicle and passenger information.
AMAZING! We went in the afternoon, and it was only my dad and I and we had booked a shared safari that ended up being private - incredible. We had previously been with another provider to the park earlier in our stay in Nairobi and this car was more comfortable and the better experience. The afternoon tour (3pm) I was worried there would be less animals to see but OH BOY I was wrong! The afternoon tour meant that the park was virtually empty of other cars so way more animals to be seen - as closer up than during our morning game drive. To top it off the 5 minutes into our drive in the park, we passed another driver who told us to follow him to where a pride of lions were sleeping. He did not mention they were sleeping 3 metres from the road and we go to be face to face with 5 sleeping lions!!!!!!! Absolute highlight of my trip to Nairobi, our driver Chris was knowledgeable, polite and a great driver. Would absolutely recommend - as we needed to be out of the park by 6:30 we just missed the sunset but saw so many animals.
We had an amazing safari tour and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Everything was very well organized and taken care of. Our guides, Elvis and Emanuel, were very friendly & knowledgeable. Elvis gave great explanations throughout the tour and really made the experience come alive. We learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended!
Had a wonderful experience with our driver, Chris on a game drive in Nairobi. He arrived early to our hotel and provided excellent service throughout. My husband mentioned he really wanted to see a lion and Chris went out of his way to make sure this happened. He was very knowledgeable and enjoyed the convo about Nairobi life. I would not hesitate to use this company again.
Great experience. Guide and driver are very courteous and went above and beyond to find big four and others
I had a truly wonderful experience. Since my flight got delayed and I found myself in Nairobi airport for 7 hours, I decided to make use of my time and booked the tour very last minute. My safari guide/driver Innocent was an amazing guide and I got to see so many animals including multiple rhinos very up close! Best spontaneous layover adventure ever! Highly recommend this tour!
Ok, I selected this company because of their high rating and I totally get why they have such a high rating! Amazing driver and guide but even before we started we had an issue trying to get back to our hotel at the pick up time. I contacted our company contact and no problem, she alerted the driver and he waited for us to get back. The guide Elvis was friendly and knowledgeable and both he and the driver Emmanuel were fantastic and accommodating. Definitely five stars!
This was our first safari experience, and overall it was amazing to finally see the animals in real life. Our driver, Innocent, was nice, picked us up on time, drove well, and really tried his best to help us spot as many animals as possible. He also kindly returned a belt I had forgotten in the car, which I really appreciated. However, the tour itself was not very informative. We received only very basic information (for example, that four out of the Big Five can be seen in the park), and most of the time we were simply driving and looking for animals. I actually learned much more during a short stop when I spoke with a park ranger than during the whole safari drive. The driver’s English was also a bit difficult to understand. Overall, the experience was great for a first safari, but I would have enjoyed it more with more explanations and information along the way.
Had a really nice game drive with Chris who did everything to make me see as much as possible. I would advise to book online through the website and not by a person who last minute link you up with the company, as you dont get the details. I ended up paying approximately 30 USD more than agreed as details was not specified over the call. Unfortunately I missed my sunset drink on my last night due to driver and friend talking and therefore missed the exit two times to the hotel. I have had better game drives, but guess this could also be worse.
I had a fantastic safari in Nairobi National Park with Peter as my guide. His deep knowledge, warm personality, and remarkable eye for wildlife made the experience unforgettable. Thanks to him, we saw four magnificent lions along with many other animals, each sighting enriched by his insight and enthusiasm. Peter truly elevates a safari. I would highly recommended!
We had a great experience in Nairobi National park. We got picked up at 05.30 and was by the park gate just before 06.00. The park opens at that time so we were first into the park. Our guide Chris was very friendly and took us to many places in the park. We even spotted three cheetahs and also Lions thanks to Chris’s quick change of route when he heard there we cats spotted at some place. We were in the park between 06.00 and 10.00, which felt just perfect for us. I can really recommend booking this trip.
I only had 2 days in Kenya so this half day was perfect for me. I booked the tour on Viator last minute and glad I did! My driver Chris was right on time (actually 15 mins early thank you) at picking me up from my hotel at 0600 and I had the landcruiser jeep to myself which was awesome. The park was about a 30 min drive away and when we got there it was a bit of a delay getting in due to the line up of other tours ( and it was a Saturday). The entry fee was 83 USD all in and they waste time trying to get you to first pay via their ecitizen website and when that doesn’t work they will finally get the hand held POS machine and swipe your card with no issues——I don’t know why they don’t just do that from the beginning, could’ve saved us like 20 mins. THEY DO NOT TAKE CASH. always have a photo of your passport biopage. Also, make sure you don’t pay anything extra other than your entry fee to the park for 83 USD. The tour itself was fantastic and the full 4-5 hours as advertised. Chris is a great driver and he was always communicating with other drivers to see if anyone spots the big cats etc..we saw lionesses hunt a zebra and it was so cool!! Also saw black and white rhinos and many other animals. I believe the park allows in way too many tour cars because when 50 jeeps gather around to try and see an animal….good luck with the traffic…it’s a mess. Overall it was great and I’m happy with the tour and would book with them again. I was dropped off at my hotel at noon. If you want to add on Giraffe Center or sheldrick elephant sanctuary, I would 10000% recommend it if you have time. (I had done them on previous tours and they are both a must see). Thank you Chris!
Great experienced guide very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended Jackson was a great guide !
After a slow start due to delays out of his control, my driver welcomed me to Nairobi National Park and then proceeded to take me on a tour. I was able to see hippopotamus, lions, gazelles, rhino, zebras, giraffes, and a cheetah (even saw a rare baby cheetah). In seeing each animal I was able to tell the driver when I wanted to move on. The operator then followed up with me afterwards to ensure I had a good experience. This operator provides good value and can be trusted. Exactly what you want.
Extremely disappointed. Guide and driver 30 mins late. No apology. 40 mins extended wait at gate entrance because driver did not want to / could not pay vehicle entry. Guide disappeared. Driver tried to get us to pay for the vehicle and his ticket when it is included in the substantial base price. Kenya Wildlife then forcibly charged $80 per person despite high court ruling that they cannot do so. Should be $43 (which they charged some visitors but not us). Driver of no help whatsoever. Would not recommend at all.
We had safari with business friends and also hosted breakfast at the park. Peter and his team did excellent service, Game drive was amazing. He didn't finish untill we find last big 4 lion. And we saw everything.
Great experience! Driver and guide were great at spotting animals and giving us plenty of time to take pictures. Highly recommend late afternoon safari when fewer vehicles
I had a great driver: Yesula! He and o saw two cheetahs!!! We stayed and watched it for a long while because he told me that this sighting was rare! He was knowledgeable and friendly. We laughed and saw lots of animals. I was even allowed to pay an extra fee for them to transport me back to my hotel since I originally didn’t pay for pickup/drop off. Would highly recommend if you are in the area! What I appreciated the most was that he was able to respect my time constraints. We got in and out taking about 3hours which was great because I had a busy schedule.
We had a good time and our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. For that reason, we could recommend this company, however having a comparison with safari we did before with different company this one seemed a bit overpriced having in mind that we were also obliged (in a pretty ugly way according to us) to leave additional tip to the driver. We also paid for the full day, but we were heading back around 3 already. Our bad we didn't define with them what they understand by the full day. Again, we had already another experience with different company, so we kind of assumed it would be the same, but it wasn't.
What an amazing experience! We saw so many animals in such a short amount of time, all in the National park. Our driver Yesler was great, knowledgeable, and worked hard to give us a great experience.
We were so fortunate to have booked this trip, Yesla and Elvis were incredible and looked after us from start to finish. It was our second time doing the national park but this visit was exceptional as they ensured we ticked off everything we wanted to see. The highlight being able to witness an encounter between two adult rhino with their young calf’s, literally meters from our vehicle. It was an amazing experience that I shall never forget as the two adult rhino weighed each other up and then affectionately rubbed horns with one another in a demonstration of solidarity. It was really touching and a real honour to witness it.
This tour was amazing, Elvis and Manu are really great! We had a great time in just 3-4 hours, we were able to watch many animals, including lions, giraffes, impalas, rhinos, hippos… you name it! Highly recommended.
Best trip! Service from the company was super and so the guide and the driver! We’ll do this again! Best Live in Love❤️❤️❤️
I booked a group safari but was the only one on the tour. My guide Manuel was punctual, helpful and knowledgeable. The safari vehicle was comfortable and we saw some amazing sites. A great experience. I would recommend.
To start, we were picked up by the driver who was 30 min late and delivered to the Galleria mall, where we spent another 20 min to locate the driver/tour guide. After introducing himself he TRIED to get us in his safari car, but unfortunately doors would not cooperate and he was not able to open them. After we finally got in the car, he had trouble starting it. Finally, what we thought, we started the trip , but … not yet, his car was COMPLETELY OUT OF GAS! After another 23 minutes of trying to communicate with gas station personnel while at the same time talking on a phone with someone, sounded like his boss, we are off to start the trip. The car was nasty, dirty, see the pictures. Our entire trip lasted 2,5 hours. We bought PRIVATE tour. Entire trip he was talking pictures and editing them, like it was some school project. We were left to ourselves to spit the animals. The culprit of the trip was when his car WOULD NOT START. It was getting dark and could and he had to go under the hood to start it! Windows were so dirty, we could not see anything at all. No explanation or anything during a tour. Needless to say, we ended up rushing back because of the dark. We did see many zebras, giraffes, hippos, ostriches and 3 lions, but I wouldn’t go back with this company. I am not sure how they got 5 starts
We picked this review based on the 5 star reviews but this was the worst experience. Our driver Sugow was quiet and barely talked the whole trip. The truck was so dirty and dusty that only one window opened in the whole truck. There was dust everywhere, see pictures attached. After the trip we had no way to get home so we asked if he could book an uber for us which was very strange since pickup/drop off is included. We also had to stop and get gas which should have done before our pickup and before the safari. Unprofessional and gross.
This was a great half-day game drive. We saw pretty much everything and our driver was knowledgeable and got us close to all the animals. I would definitely book this drive or another with Live In Love Tours again!
If you are looking for a great 4WD and driver/guide to take you around this company is truly professional and trustworthy. My family and friends had a brilliant day out. Thanks so much!
Surprised by the number of animals we were able to see so close to Nairobi. We arranged a last minute tour before heading to other parts of Kenya, and we were so glad we did. Our guide, Sugow, did a great job.
We had a great time during our game drive. Jackson was very nice and knowledgeable. We saw a variety of animals, but didn't pick the best time to be able to see lions (2 pm).
The first thing I’d commend Live in Love Kenya Tours and Travels for is the flexibility, understanding and efficiency. We reached out to let them know that our flight was cancelled and only coming in the next day, and with no hesitation, they moved all our planned activities to the next day, with no extra charge. The pick up was timely, Sugow is very knowledgeable, quick to spot the animals and gave us the real feel of safari adventure we were looking for. After the drop off, we also liked the follow-up from the office to check first hand if we were satisfied. We will definitely re-use their services. Chantal
I had one of the best experiences during my visit to Nairobi National Park, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in nature. Our driver and tour guide were outstanding ( Peter and Lekitony live in love Kenya tours and travel group)very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we saw as much wildlife as possible, including lions, giraffes, rhinos, and zebras, all in their natural habitat. The guide shared so many interesting facts and stories, making the whole experience both educational and exciting. A five-star experience all around. I’d definitely do it again and recommend the same team to anyone visiting!
A Powerful Afternoon in Nairobi National Park I only spent a few hours there, but Nairobi National Park gave me one of the most powerful moments of my journey. In the golden light of the afternoon, I saw giraffes walking gracefully through the savannah, antelopes and buffalos grazing, and — most impressively — a lion, fully awake, resting in the shade but watching everything around him. No fences, no crowds. Just nature, alive and close. What struck me most wasn’t the guide or the tour, but the park itself — so wild, yet so near the city. It felt surreal to be in such a pure natural environment with Nairobi’s skyline still visible in the background. Even a short visit can leave a deep impression. If you’re in Nairobi, take the time. It’s absolutely worth it.
Amazing to see such a healthy ecosystem with megafauna and the Nairobi skyline in the background. A very impressive, picture worthy park for both vistas and wildlife. Highly recommend for folks with a midnight flight home from Nairobi with a day to kill, couldn't be better spent. The guide was superb!
The customer handling and care by the driver was top tier with patience and making sure you go round the whole park. The photos we took were really breathtaking
It was very beautiful with amazing memories at nairobi national park ,we great experience with liveinlovekenyatourand travel ,peter was very experience and he showed us alot of animals and he extended his knowledge by taking us to elephant orphanage and giraffe centre ,i highly recomend anyone coming to kenya to contact him and his team for excursion .
The safari tour was an unforgettable experience, made even better by our fantastic guide, Yasla. His expertise and passion for wildlife really stood out, as he effortlessly identified animals and shared amazing facts along the way. We saw a variety of incredible animals up close, and our guide ensured we got the most out of every moment. Yasla was kind, approachable, and made us feel at ease throughout the tour. He created such a friendly atmosphere, ensuring we had a great experience every step of the way. It was an amazing adventure, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a welcoming and memorable safari experience! We spent aproximately 4 hrs. I recommend to bring water and something to eat such as snacks and sandwiches as it will be a long journey.
We had an amazing trip at Nairobi national park and safari with liveinlove peter was very engaging in customer care and he knows more about Nairobi national park if you're looking to go safari I really recommend him for the ride at Nairobi national park and giraffe centre thanks Peter and the team
