Our guide is Alex, an international student who once studied in China. He speaks fluent and authentic Chinese, with great manners and extensive guiding experience. Highly recommended! He has amazing eyesight and a sharp sense of smell, able to spot wildlife accurately within the reserve. This trip was absolutely worthwhile! Our driver John is a local. He’s an excellent driver! Road conditions in Kenya are tough, especially on the way to the park. His skilled driving made the journey much more comfortable. Best of all, during the safari, he always finds perfect spots for photos. The travel agency manager, Mr. Li, is Chinese. He is very kind. I left some belongings at a hotel during the trip, and he actively helped coordinate shipping them back to China.

I was extremely satisfied with the safari trip. Even though it was only one day, our guide Solomon made sure we saw all of the Big Five – we were very lucky. The entire trip was worry-free, everything was well arranged, and we felt very safe.

We did a 10-day family trip with two teenager boys during the Chinese New Year. I was thinking of just seeing some African animals before the trip. It turned out that the trip totallyt exceeded our expectation. It was well planned with trip planner, very reasonable route and scheule. The highlight is our driver+guide, who was so knowledgeable, considerate and caring. He got a full tank of bottle water for us; he covered our luggage throughout the trip from the safari dust ; he shared with us so much about animals and Masai culture, his personal growth story - how he grew up on Masai Mara from a Masai boy to a well educated Masai man. He has super sharp eyesight and can spot animals from faraway. our boys are all fascinated about Masai culture and safari animals even after we got home. Was such a brilliant trip. We booked a 6 day 5 night safari with Sino Africa for our family of 5 (2+3 kids) and it was a once in a lifetime experience for everyone. The planning and booking were thoroughly professional with Vincent guiding us through everything and he was extremely patient while giving us multiple options and quotations. He was very honest and very practical in his advice and extremely professional. While not the cheapest, the tour package seemed quite reasonable compared to other companies that I had contacted initially. From the moment we landed in Nairobi till the end of the trip, Eddie was our driver, guide and friend and we were really lucky to get him. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly and had a great working knowledge of all the animals and as a bonus he was also great with the kids. Though the vehicle was battered and not in the best of conditions, that was made up for by Eddie. We did Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Nakuru and Amboselli National Parks and each were awesome in its own merits. We saw 4 out of the big 5 and missed out seeing the leopard and it was raining too in the last 2 days which decreased the chances of spotting it. But overall we were very happy that we booked through Sino Africa as I can certainly say that they are very professional and Eddie was awesome and extremely knowledgeable and friendly and helped us have a truly memorable vacation.

My family booked our safari with this company. I was not the one contacting them, but I felt so lucky to choose them for our service provider. From the moment we arrived Nairobi until the last day, everything was well organized. From the private driver guide to the vehicle we had for several days, to the camps we stayed, everything was perfect. It was much more than we expected. Let’s begin by saying that traveling during these times can be very stressful and challenging. Covid requirements and restrictions are changing regularly and one misstep can ruin your vacation. We contacted Sino Safari to help us in planning our vacation. Jong responded to our inquiry and provided various options. He was super responsive, honest and helpful prior to our Tavel and throughout our time in Kenya. It all began with the wire transfer from the US to the Bank in Kenya. Everything went smooth, Jong sent screenshots of all the transfers of cash and even informed us that we had overpaid him and he would be reimbursing some cash once we got to Nairobi, which he did. Our Safari and accommodations at the Fairmont in the Masai Mara were incredible! Jong got us a very fair and amazing package deal which I think would’ve been much more expensive had we tried to do it ourselves. The game drives were fantastic (we had 2 per day - a morning and an afternoon one), and we got to see 4 out of the Big 5! That darn Leopard is very elusive! The time of year we visited might also have impacted our game drives. The staff at the Fairmont was beyond accommodating and attentive. The food was also quite tasty. We had one hiccup on the trip and that was our Covid test to enter Zimbabwe. We had paid Jong to schedule us an expedited Covid test since we’d be getting in at Noon into Nairobi from the Masai Mara and flying out the next morning at 5:00am to Zimbabwe. There was a mixup at the clinic and they said we’d have to pay extra to get it expedited. After explaining to the people at the clinic and contacting Jong about the situation we were finally able to get it done but we were still worried that we would not get the results in time for our flight. Here’s where the extra service comes into play. Jong reached out to us after we were done with the test and told us to get another PCR test done at the hotel airport where we were staying and that the company would pay for it. He said that he was sorry about the mix up and that we should get another test done as a backup plan. Sure enough we got another test done at the airport and Jong reimbursed us shortly thereafter. This attention to detail, honesty, and helpfulness is the reason we highly recommend Jong and Sino Africa Safari.

The driver's skill greatly alleviated the discomfort of the trip, and most importantly, during the safari, he could always find the most suitable spots for photos. The entire accommodation arrangement is reasonable, the Maasai Mara camp has a strong atmosphere, and the zebra and wildebeest leisurely stroll outside the Simba Hotel by Lake Naivasha. The Amboseli camp is in a prime location, and the Nairobi hotel is comfortable, which can greatly relieve the fatigue from long travel. The packed simple meals, local specialty dishes, and Chinese lunches are well-arranged, balancing the convenience of outdoor travel with taste requirements. This Safari journey was exceptionally wonderful; the five big cats were fortunate enough to encounter most of the wild animals except rhinos. Witnessing the thrilling wildebeest river crossing, right when lions were stalking prey, I saw lions drinking and resting by the river, and also saw the wild scene of hyenas scrambling to snatch the carcass after the zebra had left. We encountered a family of four lions, a male lion and a lioness with two cubs living by the stream, and also saw a pair of companion lions (a male lion courting, a cold lioness). The massive elephant herd (the largest group with over thirty family members) slowly walked across the grassland, giraffes moved with elegant posture, hippopotamus families lurked by the water's edge, zebras and wildebeest galloped across the vast plains, the ugly faces of the buffalo were truly stunning, and a family of warthogs ran around with their tails up, all kinds of life were captured in sight. The sunset glow of the evening is brilliant, gazing at the snow-capped Kilimanjaro in the distance, and after nightfall, the Milky Way is vast and brilliant; the scenery of the wilderness is breathtaking, making it an unforgettable African safari.
