Our driver was very sweet and went out of his way to help us. The places we saw were worth visiting. Having said that, the tour experience itself was not what we usually expect from a private tour with admission included, and that was on me for not researching further. Here's what I would have liked to know when I was researching things to do in Nairobi and considering this tour: - the tour director was extremely kind and flexible with giving us a later start than posted - our driver was confirmed the night before the tour - a different person showed up to take us on the tour and we had to ask the tour director if this person was legit - none of the tickets were purchased ahead of time and our guide didn't have the funds to purchase them so needed to be on the phone at least 15 minutes while we waited at the ticket counter. Many families purchased and went in by the time we finally did. - we asked our driver to take us to a nice place for lunch and he took us to what seemed to be a community buffet run by people he knew which wasn't the kind of place we had in mind, but he was fine with taking us to the restaurant I found on google instead - our guide got a little lost in construction and drove backwards into another vehicle - we got to our next site where he purchased tickets much more easily and handed them and us off to an official tour guide - uber in nairobi is really safe and inexpensive

Had an amazing tour with Stephen. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. Absolutely the best time. Highly recommend :)
Stephen was an experienced and knowledgeable guide who ensured we had a great day trip during our stay in Nairobi. We booked as a couple and enjoyed a private vehicle at our own pace. The combination of the Giraffe sanctuary, Bead factory and Karen Blixen homestead with a paid buffet lunch in between was a good combination and well paced.
I had a great experience on the giraffe tour! The guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Definitely worth the price and I’d recommend it to anyone.
Fantastic, enjoyable day out visiting various places. Guide was great and we will have lasting memories.
Amazing tour, the experience and the food is so good. I would recommend anyone for this. Love it
I had a great time at the giraffe center. I learned some interesting info about giraffes. Isaac, my driver was also very knowledgeable! and made the experience even more enjoyable! Thanks Isaac! One love! 🇯🇲
I enjoyed the whole tour. Isaac is a very knowledgeable and funny guy. He is definitely the best tour guide I have had here in Nairobi.
We had a great day with this tour. Our guide was right on time and attentive, making sure we had a great time. It is a must see tour when visiting Kenya.
Great way to learn about this lady, amazing to see where she lived, how she lived where she wrote, and what inspired her, our guide Brian was very knowledgeable and a great story teller.
The Nairobi wildlife tour exceeded expectations. The driver was friendly and informative throughout. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust showcased heartwarming stories of orphaned elephants and their rehabilitation journey. At the Giraffe Centre, we had an up-close encounter with these elegant creatures and learned about their conservation. Both experiences were truly amazing, leaving us with a profound appreciation for wildlife preservation in Nairobi. Highly recommended for an unforgettable day of wildlife encounters and conservation insights.
This was a very nice tour, visiting two great projects! The driver Nuru was very friendly and hadall the necessary informations at his hand. Higly recommended!
We enjoyed being up close and personal with the animals. The driver was punctual. Overall it was a great experience.
Awesome!!!! Very nice place clean..and well taken care!! It’s kind of far from Nairobi downtown but you can mix this tour with the Elephants Orphanage
We had a great experience with our guide by the name of Black Santa, he was on time, friendly and knowledge. We would recommend taking this day trip!
What a wonderful introduction to Nairobi and Kenya!!! Steven our driver was so helpful, efficient and courteous:) Thank-you so much for everything!
Such a lovely day! Our tour guide, David, arrived early and ensured we had a safe and interesting day. I highly recommend this experience.
The giraffes are amazing and I’m so pleased that the centre Is working to preserve the species. My guide Steven was excellent in explaining the work they are doing. I was thrilled with the Elephant Orphanage as it was my dream to go there
Driver was punctual and I really enjoyed the visit to the giraffe center and wildlife center. The guide was kind and positive. You might want to check about the vehicle ahead of time, though. I was on my own and assumed I’d be riding in a safari vehicle with several others. Instead, I was in a small car on my own. This didn’t feel like the luxe experience I had anticipated and paid for. Fair enough, I got to the attractions. Once there, be sure to ask the guide to take pictures of you if you’d like some, as they weren’t too involved in the attraction experiences otherwise. I appreciated the alone time, but can see how others might want more guidance and time with their guide. I’d appreciate more courtesy and luxury experience to solo travelers.
We were able to view all of the desired animals. The guide was punctual, very patient and informative.
Both venues were excellent. Getting up close and personal with the elephants and the giraffe was a great experience. Arrive early at the elephant orphanage to get a good position at ringside to better interact with them. Watch out though for wet, slippery places. We were there after some rain had fallen and a lady slipped and fell. Fortunately she was okay, but her clothes took on a decidedly muddy appearance. Watch out for head butting giraffes. It's tempting to try for a selfie while feeding them, but be careful about turning your back on them. Perhaps they're easily offended ... LOL
We loved this experience so much. I LOVE elephants and thanks to our great guide, Meshack- we were fortunate enough to be right on the front line where we could see all of the babies and touch those close to us. At the Giraffe Center we were handed off to Maurice and he took great care of us. We fed the giraffes and were treated like VIPs. Such a great day. Would recommend you booking this tour!
It was an amazing experience! We went to the elephant orphanage first then giraffe center. Everything went smoothly and the driver (Victor) knew the area very well, and we stopped multiple times to buy water or coffee. He also offered to stop by a very big gift shop so many options. Highly recommend it. Worth the price !
Very nice Sunday activity, great experience to see the animals from so close and being able to feed them. Pick up on time and Peter was flexible to make de-tours.
It is a memorable experience to have such a close contact with the beautiful giraffes and baby elephants. Peter is a very gentle and caring driver, highly appreciated.
Elephants and giraffes were excellent. Our Driver, Johnson, on time, really helpful, polite and friendly. Great guy and nice car. Our guide was also good
Pick-up was on time. Our guide (Ben) was SUPER friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative. We didn't have any issues at all throughout the day. The Sheldrick Elephant reserve was amazing -- we got to pet SO many baby elephants! The Giraffe Center was great -- lots of hungry giraffes to feed. We skipped out on some of the other itinerary and decided to go to Bomas, where we saw some beautiful traditional huts of many various cultures, as well as a wide variety of INCREDIBLE local dances. This itinerary change was super easy to make. It was a perfect day, and it was all thanks to our guide Ben.
My friend and I had a great time getting up close and personal with giraffes at the Giraffe Center. We never imagined hand feeding giraffes with special food provided by the Center. We had so much fun. The Elephant Orphanage was also a lot of fun. To see all these elephants ranging in age from 1 month old to about 2-3 years old up close was really neat. Both ventures are worth the time to see.
Amazing experience to see how they take care of the elephants and giraffes. The guide picked us up and drove us to both conservations. Highly recommend
A great day to see the highlights of Nairobi. The hotel pickup was very helpful and my driver was very considerate. The baby elephants and giraffes were definitely the highlight of my day.
This was o e of the best tours we did while travelling 4 countries in Africa. I highly recommend this tour. The elephant orphanage was so nice to see that they are all rescues and being cared for and will be released into the wild when they are ready!!! You can adopt an elephant for a small fee ( we did this) and you will get updates monthly on your elephant. The giraffe centre was also really great, the giraffes are healthy and happy and you can feed them. It was totally worth the money. Our guide was great as well.
Excellent day! The driver/guide, Meshak was very professional and polite. He made sure that we arrived on time the day I had my flight after the tour. I totally recommend it. This experience was super cute, all baby elephants and getting to know information about the giraffes. This is a great way to contribute to these places that help animals. Join this experience and make a difference in the world for the better!!
Very friendly, informative driver. Loved the elephant orphanage as we got to hear about all their individual stories. Great opportunity for up close pictures and able to touch these amazing animals. The giraffes were also a lot of fun. We were able to feed these gentle giants and get fabulous pictures. Our driver Peter was very kind and took pictures of us feeding them too! Karen Blixen is not included in this tour but Peter was more than happy to take us there. We also had a great lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden Cottages (not included in price but really worth going to) Our other stop was the tour of the Kobe Tough to see how beads are made. An interesting experience. Would recommend this tour.
Happy with the tour, the guide was very kind and helpfull, gave me suggestions for best pictures spots, what to expect inside, very happy
It was an excellent trip - although not full day as advertised. There was quite a lot of standing about & waiting to get into the elephant sanctuary but it was worth it. The giraffe centre was great too. Our guide also stopped off at a bead factory on the way back to the hotel which was also worth a visit. All in all - a lovely way to spent half a day.
I had a wonderful day tour of some of the best experiences in Nairobi. Stephen, my guide, was excellent and very knowledgeable. We started at the elephant orphanage, visited the giraffe center, checked out an art gallery and a bead factory and ended with lunch. I had just the one day in Nairobi before flying out and it was the perfect way to end the trip. Thank you to Stephen and the team for making this a wonderful experience!
Great tour, so much more variety than we expected. We had a great guide, Peter, really helpful and knowledgeable. Fantastic choice especially if you are in Nairobi for a limited time. Was a perfect start to our holiday.
George was an excellent driver/guide making sure we were on time and in a good place for viewing, touching and feeding. The stop at Kobe Tough was a great and colourful start to a splendid day. The ladies were so welcoming and seemed happy for us to see what they are doing. Great initiative. 💕
Our tour guide Meshack was so great and patient the whole day. We had an amazing experience with the elephants, we got there early enough to be in the front. And then feeding the giraffes was great too. Our guide was nice enough to take us to a nice restaurant in between activities too. Really fun day overall
The trips to Elephant orphanage and giraffe center were amazing, also the driver Meshack did a good job. We started at 09:30 and finished around 14:00. It is not a whole day trip per se so you may consider planning something else after concluding this tour. It a worthy it if you are in Nairobi.
We had a wonderful experience with this great tour and the company. Stephen was our guide and did an excellent job. We highly recommend this full day tour. We also had the opportunity to buy some wonderful souvenirs.
The organisation worked very nicely: the guide picked up us at the hotel and was waiting for us during the different visits. Very nice and patient person, no stress at all Wonderful experience to see the great work people are doing to rescue elephants and giraffes! We will rember this day for ever!
We had a brilliant time on our day trip. Our guide Faith was fabulous. She was very knowledgeable and shared lots of information with us. Her tips on the day made our experience so much better, she made sure we had the best viewing spots and got the best photos. It is the local knowledge of the logistics that really makes a difference and means you do not have to think about it. Her kindness in looking after my parents and checking about anything we needed was above and beyond. Our driver Peter was great and friendly too. They were also flexible and helpful with accommodating our other requests to stop for souvenirs and lunch. Betty booked our tour so efficiently and we did this in transit while flying to Nairobi for a tour the next day. It was quick, easy and everything on the day went well.
Booking with Elizabeth was super way and she always responded promptly to any question so had. I had Douglas as my guide for the day and he was super kind, helpful and very professional and knowledgeable. Douglas put my mind at ease as I was slightly nervous being a female solo traveller. Throughly recommend the company and Douglas being your guide!
Steven our tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable! Really enjoyed both the elephant orphanage and the giraffe center, as well as the stop at a Maasai gift shop and restaurant. 10/10 would do again!
We wanted to see some of the sites of Nairobi so spent the day with our guide, George. He was wonderful—friendly, informative, and very flexible as to what we wanted to do. We visited the baby Elephant Orphanage, the Giraffe Center, a women’s bead jewelry factory, a large local craft shop, and had a wonderful lunch nearby. Our family, from preteens to adults, all had a great introduction to some of the treasures of Kenya and a taste of what was to come on our trip. I would highly recommend George and the full-day tour!
The elephants and giraffes to see so close were just amazing. My guide Faith was the sweetest showing me around, giving lots of info and taking pictures of me as I was traveling alone. Thx to Faith and driver Dennis for the day!
We had a great day trip yesterday with our wonderful guide Faith and driver James. We were so well looked after and they ensured our experience was personal to us. We visited the amazing elephant and giraffe centres, the Kobe Tough beade centre, the Karen Blixen Museum and a local craft market, with a lunch at the welcoming Hunger's Nest restaurant. Thank you Faith and James for an amazing day in Nairobi.
The driver was nice but didn’t know the best way to go from our place to the fondation. The car windows could not open in the back, no ac, the windows were dark, bad to see through and the car smelly.
Paul was an excellent guide for us during our one day tour in Nairobi. He gave us advice on how to get the best out of our chosen activities and personalised the day for us specifically. Paul enhanced our day with interesting facts of all areas we visited or crossed through. In addition, he was incredibly knowledgable in all local Nairobi and wider Kenyan matters which made the drive entertaining. His driving was safe and was very courteous towards us. Paul clearly knew the staff well at all our stops and there were no issues with ticket reservations. We would highly recommend a tour with him!
