Dorcas was recommended to me by another solo traveler. Coming to Kenya, by myself, with a late night arrival, I definitely wanted to pre book. From my first inquiry, Dorcas responded promptly, politely, and gave me all of the information I wanted. I decided to hire her for 3 full days. I’ve been to 44 countries and driven in many of them, but felt Nairobi was not one I wanted to drive in. She is an AMAZING driver! I don’t give that comment flippantly. She was always prompt picking me up. Any errands I wanted to do besides my sightseeing, she fit in. She also took me to local places to eat so I could try Kenyan food without worrying if the place was safe to eat. With a lot of the places only taking Mpesa and not cash or cards, she handled it and I paid her back. I also learned several Swahili words. She was so kind to everyone else we ran into in the course of a day, it made their day too. I could go on and on extolling her virtues, but I might run out of room. Don’t look any further for a driver. She’s the best!

What an amazing person! Dorcas was not only waiting for us in the airport, she was actually there for way longer than initially scheduled because of the huge queue to pass through immigration at Nairobi airport and at a time we did not have network coverage in our phones. We were unable to update her yet she was there to receive us with such a smile and joy! We loved her company, her amazingly great driving skills and the conversation we had all the way until reaching our destination. We are thankful for meeting her, and without any doubt, would love to be with her in a future trip not to mention she will be highly recommended to any of our friends or family who travel to Nairobi. Dorcas is lovely, she waiting patiently as we had a very long passport control wait, she told us stories about Kenya and Nairobi Got us to our hotel safely with a smile.

Dorcas picked me up promptly from the hotel. She was excellent and she pointed out places of interest along the way. We got to the Kenya International Conference Centre (KICC) and she took me to the rooftop to get a better view of the city. She was very knowledgeable and answered my questions about the Parliament and different areas and tribes in Kenya. We then left to go to the Giraffe Centre and got there in time before the mass tourist groups arrived. At the Giraffe Centre, I got to feed the giraffes and Dorcas took some pictures and videos for me. She also took me Souvenir shopping where I got to see the men in their workshop making the souvenirs. There were some Maasai men there and Dorcas got them to dress me up in their attire for pictures. Those pictures and memories will be with me for a lifetime! The tour itself was amazing, so was Dorcas! After the tour, she took me back to the hotel and managed to bypass the heavy traffic. All in all, it was an amazing day; and I'd definitely recommend it to everyone. Thank you Dorcas, for making my first day in Kenya an incredible one!

A superb day with Dorcas! We met a she was my Booking driver for the airport transfer. We immediately became friends. She took myself and several colleagues of mine in customised city tours, visiting giraffes, eating real local amazing food, seeing Nairobi from above, shared some historic knowledge, a great cooperation of women making wonderful jewelry and a few good fair priced artisanal locations. It was really an amazing experience be with Mrs. Dorcas in Nairobi, visit Giraffe Centre and few other places. We had amazing time and found out many useful information. We were together in Karen Blixen Museum and in beads factory too. It was an amazing beginning of our time in Kenya, which we visited for the first, but not last time. Dorcas was a good guide for Nairobi, she showed us the main attractions. Helpful person, fast communication, clean and fragrant car. The only thing that left us a bit disappointed was the price: not having booked through the site (I see $27 per tour), they took advantage of us by asking for $100, then I managed to negotiate it down to $80. A price that is still very high and unjustified. If people were not always ready to rip off their neighbor, the world would be a better place!

I took three trips with Dorcas. On the evening of my arrival at the airport, I was picked up on time. Pickup information was excellent. The ride to the hotel was very efficient, and I received some interesting information about Nairobi along the way. Since I had already booked 5 days of my stay with other providers, I spontaneously decided to hire Dorcas for a city tour of Nairobi on the last day. For the 5th day, a tour booked through booking.com was planned for Nairobi National Park, which was canceled at the last minute (2 hours) before the pickup time by the provider. After a call to Dorcas, she quickly agreed to arrange a guide with a vehicle for a private game drive through the park, which then took place - a good 5 hours through the park with very nice animal observations, sufficient photo stops, and very good explanations from Tipa Jonathan, the guide and driver. The next day, the planned city tour of Nairobi took place with all explanations and many visits. We also stopped for lunch in a typically African setting with local specialties. The experiences and time spent with Dorcas were excellent and a great enrichment of my stay in Kenya. Should I travel to Kenya again, I will contact her in advance.
