John was a great guide well time keeping, from pickup 10 minutes before picking up time. The only 2 hours john make sure we spotted more than 10 lions and rhino. but i could not imagine after all his efforts no travels Tip him 🥲it was so disappointing. Absolutely it's necessary for travels to tip tour guide.... Thanks so much john and may God bless work of your hands, you will go far.

We picked the latest available option to shoot at golden hour, and it was one of the best photo times I've ever had. The driver, John, was well-educated and a skilled driver, easy to understand and always ready to stop right after I shout his name. It is a great half-day experience for photographers if you want to test your photo gear before you go for something more extensive.
I recently had an amazing tour to Nairobi National Park, and it was truly a memorable experience. The trip was well organized, and from the moment we entered the park, we were welcomed by beautiful scenery and a peaceful natural environment. The game drive was exciting because we were able to see many wild animals such as giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and several bird species. The highlight of the tour was seeing rhinos in their natural habitat, which made the experience even more special. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained the different animals and their behaviors throughout the tour. What makes Nairobi National Park unique is its location close to the city, allowing visitors to enjoy a real safari experience while still seeing Nairobi’s skyline in the background. The park was clean, well maintained, and safe for visitors. Overall, the tour was enjoyable, educational, and worth every moment. I would highly recommend a tour to Nairobi National Park to anyone looking for a short but exciting wildlife adventure in Kenya.
We had a wonderful family trip to Nairobi National Park. The experience was enjoyable and well organized, and we loved watching a wide variety of wild animals and birds in their natural habitat. Our driver and tour guide, Francis, was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable, which made the trip even more memorable. I highly recommend Valley Rock Tours and especially Francis for anyone planning a safari experience.
We had a very great family time touring the Great Nairobi Park. We got a wonderful guide who took us round very effectively, making very great stops for capturing beautiful pictures and some brilliant explanations. His name is Francis, a great guide. I'd recommend him all time
We spent 4 days in Nairobi at the start of our vacation to the Serengeti. We were a bit reluctant to go on a game drive within the city limits of Nairobi but decided to give it a try. We were very delighted with the excursion. The tour picked us up at our hotel, gave us a brief understanding of why Nairobi National park was so unique and then took us to the gates of the park. The tour used a Toyota Land Cruiser Troopy with a pop up top which was ideal for this tour. We were able to experience the park in open air viewing. We saw Lions, Zebras, ostriches, Impalas and a rhino. It was amazing! The tour was great and worth every penny spent. I’d recommend this to any visitor to Nairobi wanting to spend some time experiencing nature.

Absolutely great service, drive was on time and very friendly, he was not only driving but gave detailed explanations of the park’s history and animals. Lucky to have seen 98% of the animals.
We had a quick stopover at nairobi before we connect at train to mombasa and since we had time we contacted valley tour to advise how we can do,....after discussion we decided to do private trip at nairobi national Park, elephant suncary and giraffe centre. Peter Jane picked up at airport and we have a great moment to view many animals like lion, buffalo and many more. And after we had a quick stopover for lunch lunch before they dropped us at train station. We recommend them to anyone.
Nairobi National Park, located just a stone's throw away from Kenya's bustling capital city, offers a unique wildlife experience within close proximity to urban life. ##### Wildlife Viewing Despite its small size compared to other national parks in Kenya, Nairobi National Park is home to an impressive array of wildlife species. Visitors can spot iconic African animals such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and rhinos against the backdrop of Nairobi's skyline. ##### Scenic Beauty The park's diverse landscapes, ranging from open grasslands to acacia woodlands, provide a picturesque setting for wildlife viewing and photography. The sight of wildlife roaming freely with city skyscrapers in the background is truly enchanting. ##### Accessibility Nairobi National Park's proximity to the city center makes it easily accessible for both local and international visitors. Its location allows for a quick escape into nature without the need for long hours of travel. ##### Conservation Efforts The park plays a vital role in conservation efforts, particularly in protecting endangered species such as black rhinos and hirola antelopes. It serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving natural habitats amidst urban development. ##### Visitor Facilities The park offers various amenities for visitors, including picnic sites, campsites, and guided safari tours. The Nairobi Animal Orphanage within the park provides a unique opportunity to learn about wildlife rehabilitation efforts. In conclusion, Nairobi National Park stands as a testament to the harmonious coexistence of wildlife and urban life. It serves as a valuable asset not only for conservation purposes but also as a sanctuary for nature lovers seeking a safari experience within a metropolitan setting...... Cheers to Mr John he is very accommodating
It was a horrible experience. It was supposed to be a 6-hour game drive but it took us 4 hours and a half, including only 2 hours in the park and the rest in a touristic shop (we didn't pay to go shopping and it was not in the description.....) and restaurant (we said we didn't want to eat and this was not even supposed to be part of the experience) and in transfers to and from the hotel. Contrary to the description, we were not given any t-shirts of the company. The price of the park - 43 dollars per person - is NOT included in the 110 dollars that you pay, which makes the thing the most expensive safari we have done in a month in Africa. Also, the guide John was 60% of the time on the phone - extremely annoying, 30% discussing with the trainee employee who was with us (kind of imposed on us... ) and 10% with us. His English was not great either. We felt cheated, it spoiled our experience in Kenya. We saw some animals but this didn't excuse the rest.
We booked a private safari diu to limit time we had John was making sure avy minute was well spent..we enjoyed spotting 3 of Big five and more animals John was well experienced and educated regarding word life animals we would wish we had more days to due more trips with mr. John to different park but definitely I will use them again. I recommend to anyone within Nairobi. #johnguide..
We had a blast, Saw a lot of wild animals. Our driver Jhon was plasent and kind. We will come again next year for sure! Thank you
It's a very nice tour company with exiting and memorable experiences especially with the experienced friendly professional tourguides.
We book a trip at last minute but they respond very quickly. John picked us and within 2 hours we spotted 3 of big five incud of more than ten lions, buffalo and brack rhino and many more animals. I recommend them highly.
What a successful and brilliant experience, I did a half day (afternoon) safari in Nairobi national park with Valley Rock Tours. The organisation was smooth and the company were responsive and very helpful whenever I called in advance to ask about the safari. Peter our guide was brilliant, knowledgeableand welcoming. He was really friendly and told us much about ecosystem, flora and fauna much about the animals and theirspecies. He was in touch with other guides and was able to respond to tip offs so we saw a lot of different animals including rhino, lion, and buffalo. I was picked up and dropped off at the hotel and had a stop for coffee and souvenirs after the safari too. Brilliant afternoon with Valley Rock Tours- well worth it. Would definitely recommend. Thank you so much Peter and able VALLEY ROCK TOURS.
It was a last minute booking and i wasn't sure i would be able to get the service, but John was quick to respond and organised the tour. We got to see a coalition of two male lions, another pride hunting, white rhinos, zebra, crocodile and so many....it was more of a bargain than we expected, glad to have taken a safari with Valley Rock...
It’s hard to believe you can see so much so close to Nairobi! All the animals are represented here so you will leave satisfied for sure. John was a next level driver and knew where we needed to go to see each one. I would recommend 100%
We had a great tour with Peter, and saw lots of animals in the Nairobi National Park. He stayed with us for 6 hours, and I thought the tour was a good deal for what he charged and the time we spent with him.
It was amazing visit to the park with an experienced tour driver. Got to see the lions and leopards at the same time.I will recommend
Everything was smooth and ontime , the driver was really friendly and knowledgeable, we enjoyed the safari with valley rocks.
