Imraan , Shifana and his team went above and beyond the call of duty ! From the time we landed at the airport until the time came to leave for home , the whole team made sure our safaris, lodging and any other needs were well taken care of. His driver in the safaris was well knowledged and made sure we saw the Big 5 as well any other animals we needed to see . Imraan stayed in constant communication with us to make sure all was according to what we needed. I will recommend Imraan and his team 100 times over to anyone planning to go to East Africa !!

As the name suggest best camping tours & Safari, we had an above and beyond the best Safari and trip of our life. What a memorable experience, thank you best camping team, Imraan, Shafna, and our guide Abdullah for creating such beautiful memories. Special mention to Abdullah, our guide who was with us for the entire journey. He was one of the senior most team members and extremely knowledgeable about the forest. The animals, The birds, their habitat having an extremely sharp eye to spot animals at the remotest part of the forest. We have no words to express our gratitude to the entire team for customising our holiday and celebrating my birthday beyond our expectations, etched in our memory forever. We started our journey with the boat ride at Lake Navasha and the walking Safari with the animals at Crescent Island. The experience was outstanding with a personal guide, and showing us the different birds and animals and the giraffe right next to us.On arriving at our hotel,The Simba lodge we were blown away to see the beautiful zebra‘s water buck And several other animals roaming around freely in the lodge Gardens in their own environment. We also got lucky with the hippos at the lake. Thereafter, we spent 4 Beautiful nights at the Fig Tree camp inside Masai Mara and this was a life changing experience for us. The camp itself is located on the talek river and was hippos paradise with about 35 to 40 resident hippos and crocodiles, we had taken the lake facing luxury tents, and it was beautiful to sleep with the sounds of a hippo at night, amidst nature.Best part,no WiFi other than the reception area!!👌 Each day our Safari was exciting and adventurous beyond expectations. One day, we got to see three cheetah’s kill two animals at the same time and got them feasting on their trophy. Another experience the pride of 14 Lions and getting to see the male lions up close and personal. we also got to see civil species of beautiful birds. Giraffes ,Elephants zebra’s war dogs buffaloes all in all the big five, except the elusive rhino, which is hard to spot now.each day a new experience, falling short of words!! What best camping and the fig tree camp planned for my birthday cannot be expressed in words. We started with a beautiful balloon ride over the Mara, followed by private bush, breakfast and the most melodious birthday singing by the Hotel staff, bringing in the cake for me. I will never forget this experience. One important point for all vegetarian and vegan people like me the whole trip, the food was extremely delicious and an integral part of the Safari for a moment. I never had any problems for vegetarian food. It was in abundance and super delicious. As I sum up my long review, I would only say this that I would love to go back to Kenya and do it only with best camping tours & Safaris WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND BEST CAMPING TOURS & SAFARIS FOR YOUR NEXT TRAVEL TO KENYA!!

Every year we use Best Camping tours. I think I have used Imraan to organise my safaris over 10 times now. This trip was fantastic. Meru National Park, Buffalo Springs and Masai Mara. Expertly planned. Saw so many animals including Lions in all three parks. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a 4N/5D experience on the Mara. First up, we planned this in 2020, right before COVID. Imraan and his team have stayed in contact with us, through the pandemic and held onto our credits for 4 years. Beyond that, they waited for us at the airport until nearly 2am when we were delayed to help us get through immigration and to our hotel that night. The integrity of this organisation is really substantial. Our guide, Abdullah was knowledgeable, professional and extremely friendly. He knew the name of every moving critter and every plant that we passed. He educated us on the local people, places, customs and industries. When it came to finding animals, Abdullah knew their usual places and expertly swapped intelligence with other guides to locate the ‘big ones’. Camp Know what you’re getting. Camp is basic so think exposed timber frames, corrugated iron and canvas tents. Each tent has its own ensuite with flushing toilets and showers with hot water which is sourced from the river... But you’re camping in the bush so what did you expect? It is definitely comfortable, you will have a bed with a mattress, three very filling hot meals a day and very accomodating staff. We were alone in the camp and waited on hand and foot by Joseph and Francis. Meals included spaghetti ‘bolognaise’- the African version, fried fish, curry and chicken with sautéed cabbage. My veggie wife was really well catered for and had her own option each night. Overall it’s great, by the river and you can hear the animals at night. But if you’re expecting a marble lined lodge, it’s not that. We saw all of the big five on this trip, and I’ll leave the photos below. It was punctuated by a lion kill, a leopard and multiple cheetahs with their cubs, up close. Absolutely amazing and really can’t recommend this company strongly enough. Everything we asked for and more.

I have been on Safari 5 times with Best Camping and everything was always perfectly organized. They are very friendly, reliable and always put the guests wishes first. Their drivers are very friendly and we also felt extremely safe with a small child. The accommodation they organized were always great.

The trip was incredible. We went for our honeymoon and it was the trip of a lifetime. Best Camping was truly fantastic and Imraan was so incredibly helpful. We went to Ngorongoro and the Sarengeti. Everything was organized with tremendous care and thought. We would go again in a heartbeat.

This trip was beyond our expectations. The arrangements were handled with ease, the accommodations were very comfortable, the staff were friendly and our guide Mohammed was the best! He was knowledgeable, patient and very friendly. I would highly recommend booking with Best Camping if you have an opportunity to visit Kenya.

We spent five days with Muhammad touring the Mara and Nakuru. It was better than we imagined. Within 24 hours we had seen 4 of the big 5 and by the end had seen all 5 plus so much more. Muhammad is knowledgeable, patient, funny, and kind. I highly recommend!

Imraan and his staff were helpful and considerate with all the arrangements for our large group that had travelled from India. This includes any last minute changes that sometime happens when you are a large group. We all sincerely thank you Best Camping for making our safaris in Masai Mara memorable and enjoyable.

I just got back from my first ever safari - the Best Camping Tours & Safaris four and a half day trip to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. I was lucky enough to be invited along by my uncle, Akmal. My wider family have been to Kenya a lot and last year my uncle promised to take me. (I am 16 and from the US). My uncle lives in the UK and said he had his first Safari with Best Camping back in 1991 and that I we should go do the same thing again as it was so good for him. It was one of the best experiences of my life! The game drives were really exciting and I got to see the Big 5. The guide, Abdulla, was very helpful and knowledgeable - he felt like a good friend by the end of the trip! I am coming back and will be doing another adventure with Best Camping. My uncle who wants me to point out how amazing Imraan was in facilitating the trip (being super responsive and helpful in all aspects of the planning). A massive 5 star rating from both of us

We used Best Camping Tours for the first time and for our first visit to Masai Mara. We got so much more them what we expected. The attention to all our details was amazing and Imraan was always at hand to give us tips and advice. Their Driver Ben was an excellent tour guide and driver and made sure we saw all we should and gave lots of info.

Thanks to Imraan and his team, my trip was one of the most beautiful and memorable one. We did Amborsili too with them and it could not have been better. I have special food needs as I don't eat onions and garlic and Imraan made sure the the chefs in all the properties took care of my needs. Phenomenal 9 days. I will cherish the memories for ever. Definitely coming back for another one.

I have used Best Camping for over 10 years and have been delighted with the service that Imraan and his team offer. The 4x4s are very comfortable and the drivers have a huge knowledge of Kenya wildlife and the national parks. Tours are very client focussed with the main aim being….finding the game! I am not exaggerating when I say I have visited the mara with Best Camping 11 times and have seen lions and cheetah on every occasion. Our leopard sightings are increasing too, due to the excellent tutelage of the drivers. Imraan has close connections with a number of lodged and camps, our latest one last week was Tipilikwani camp, which I have also reviewed on this site.

Mara is the highlight by itself. Best Camping and Imraan are reliable and a very good value for money option. Imraan is very client focused and tried the best for us. I will do Safaris in the future with Best Camping for sure.

We had a wonderful 2 night and 3 day stay in the Mara and saw so much of wildlife including elephants, lions, chetahs , antelopes , Topee, zebras , eagles and so much more ! We did 5 game drives over the 2 days there and our driver and guide Ben was excellent in taking us to the right locations. Our visit to Naivasha on day 3 and stay at the Naivasha Simba lodge was breathtaking with Zebras and Antelopes literally outside the room over breakfast . The walking safari at crescent island and the boat ride on lake Naivasha were additional highlights that will leave a lasting memory ! Everything was well organized as planned , Imran went over all the details and made extra sure that we were well taken care of at the tent camps and on our departure back to the airport in the middle of the night . All in all a great visit and would certainly recommend best camping tours Safaris company for all your future safari adventures !

I did a four day Masai Mara safari with Best Camping Kenya. I had a wonderful experience, got lucky to see a pride of 17 lions and another pride of 12 after some kills. The safari driver was excellent and it was a pleasure to deal with the owner Imraan. His attention to details in preparing the lodge and safari vehicle was first class.

Having my morning tea with view of wild animals life. It was an amazing experience for me, my wife and our 3 kids, 16 y.o, 13 y.o and 9 y.o. we went through best camping tourist company for 4 days trip that included Masai Mara and Nakuru lake. The camps provided to us were very neat, comfortable , delicious halal food and all staff were very friendly and welcoming. Mr Imran; the manager of Tour agency was very co-operative. He helped us in designing our trip; which exceeded our expectations. The driver was patient but prefer to have younger one next time for more description of animals attitude and behaviour and tolerance to kids. It was unforgettable experience especially for kids at this age with comfortable facilities provided. The tours agent support was from the moment we landed at airport all the way till we left the country with pick up and drop to airport. Thanks to Mr. Imraan and his team.

Had an excellent experience with Best Camping Tour Safaris again this month. They are straight down the line honest and easy to organise things with. This was my third time I’ve used them (The last times were in 2009 and 2008). The camping in the Maasai Mara reserve was sensational with excellent game drives for the four days. My driver, the staff at the camp including the two Maasai night security chaps were all both friendly and professional. The camp served fantastic food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If I return to Kenya I will definitely use Best Camping Tour Safaris again and would definitely recommend people who want good value for money and who have a real sense of adventure to do so too!

As a long-time loyal customer, since 1990, of BEST Camping, visited beautiful Kenya again this year and made a 4-day safari to the Masai-Mara. Natural weather with Best Camping. As before, the weather was fantastic. Everything was arranged to perfection by Imraan and his team. The big 5 was spotted by us and we enjoyed the rest of the beautiful flora and fauna, thanks to our expert driver Abdallah. The reception in the camp has been incredibly welcoming all these years. The camp in the Masai-Mara is fully equipped. The tents are comfortably furnished with beds and have a private shower and toilet room. Compared to our first safaris in the 90’s a very big advance! (Of course we are also getting a year older) The wet and dry in the camp tasted fantastic every time! In short, if you are considering travelling to Kenya, I say DO! And definitely go for BEST Camping. The name says it all. BEST Camping is the BEST! P.s. also for trips etc. other than safari, Imraan with all his expertise is always ready to help you!
