We had a Great time. Our driver Charro was very kind, we saw many animals in the park and he knew many good spots to watch all different animals in Masai Mara. We felt always very safe!

I had an amazing time and wouldn’t have been possible without the guidance of Charo who really made the effort to make us all feel comfortable and to take us to the best spots/angles to see the animals. I would definitely recommend!!
It was really good experience for us. We saw the Big 5 and the Agri 5 on this tour. Thank you for driving and finding a lot of animals for us. Our tour guides are Albert and odeny:) Asante!
These were four amazing days, a wonderful experience we couldn't have asked for better, we enjoyed the hot air balloon so much it was undoubtedly an unforgettable experience. Visiting the Maasai village was amazing to see how they live there and keep the tradition. Especially the jeep safari trip was great, seeing so many animals and really close up. And all this thanks to Paul the guide who made sure we saw everything and didn't miss anything. He was very nice and kind, helped us and took care of everything we needed. The season for the trip was very comfortable, with cool mornings and evenings, and very pleasant weather in the afternoons. Definitely worth the money and I would definitely do it again!!.
Our 4-day, 3-night safari was an unforgettable experience, and a huge part of that was our guide, Paul. From the moment he picked us up until he dropped us off, he was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly accommodating. What stood out most was his guiding style. Paul has a calm and reassuring presence, and it was clear that he genuinely enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion for wildlife with his guests. He was attentive to everyone's interests, answered every question thoroughly, and made sure each person in the group felt included and engaged. He seemed to know exactly where to be and when, which gave us some truly incredible wildlife sightings throughout the trip. One of the biggest highlights was seeing the Big Five, something I had hoped for but wasn't sure would happen. We were also fortunate enough to witness a very rare sighting of a leopard killing a serval cat. While I was initially saddened by what I saw, my daughter reminded me that it was part of the circle of life and the reality of nature in the wild. It was a powerful and unforgettable moment. The Maasai campsite was exactly what we expected, and the setting was beautiful and added to the authentic safari experience. The package was also very reasonably priced for everything that was included. In fact, it felt like we received much more than we paid for. This was my first safari, and I traveled with my daughter and sister. We all had an amazing time. What I especially appreciated was that the experience seemed well suited for every type of traveler. There was a solo traveler in our group who shared how much she loved every part of the tour, and there was also a couple who thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The group size was perfect, not overcrowded or rushed, but just right, allowing everyone to enjoy the experience comfortably. Although we missed the migration by a couple of weeks, there was still so much wildlife to see and so many memorable moments that we never felt like we missed out. Thanks to Paul's expertise, enthusiasm, and ability to read the group's interests, every game drive felt exciting and rewarding. For a first-time safari experience, I could not have asked for more. I highly recommend this tour to solo travelers, couples, friends, and families alike. If you're lucky enough to have Paul as your guide, you're in excellent hands. He doesn't just show you the wildlife; he helps you understand and appreciate the entire ecosystem, making the experience both educational and unforgettable. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Overall we’d recommend Perfect Safaris. We were delayed with the pick up on the first day but otherwise the transfers were good. Isaac made us feel very comfortable and is an excellent driver, taking us through very difficult terrain in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. He also enabled us to see all of the big 5 and many more fantastic animals in addition. It was a fantastic existence and very special for our 2 sons, 5 and 8 years old.
Mark was our guide, he is a very professional guide and driver. Always wilimg to help, and explaining many interesting things about the wildlife. And finding the best spot for the photos ;) Thank you
Bernard was a little gem!! Always so nice & willing to help! The perfect guide for your tour!
Great experience. Everything went as agreed: the safari in the Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha. Our driver, Paul, was fantastic and incredibly helpful—thanks to him, we managed to see all the animals! As agreed, the agency also provided Moses (Peperoncino), our Italian-speaking guide, so amazing! It was a wonderful experience, definitely recommended, and we will surely use them again for our next trip to Kenya!!!"
Wonderful safari in Masai Mara and lake Nakuro! Albat and Castro are excellent drivers, very well esperienced, polite and able to spot all 5 bigs in the best way as possible. I already had a Safari, but never seen so many animalis very closely.
Hello, I rarely write reviews, but this time I have to! My experience was amazing from beginning to end. I went on a 4-day safari with my wife, and we had four days of pure bliss! Our guide was Calvin, and he is the best guide you could ever have. He's kind, attentive, explains things incredibly well, and during the safari, he made sure we had the best spots to see the animals! Thank you so much, Calvin! Best compagnie ever
I found this travel agency by chance, and I couldn’t be more grateful that I did. As a solo traveler, I quickly realized that safaris can be quite expensive, especially when comparing prices from different agencies. From our very first contact, George, the office manager, took care of everything with great attention and patience. I asked many questions to make sure the experience would meet my expectations, and he was always responsive and helpful. I’m happy to say that I secured an excellent price for my safari, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I stayed at a beautiful safari camp called Jambo, in a glass cabin that made me feel completely immersed in nature. During the safari, I was lucky enough to see all of the Big Five. I absolutely loved Masai Mara, and one of the highlights of my trip was the additional day at Lake Nakuru, which was exceptional with its acacia trees and incredible variety of wildlife. George also assisted me with my train tickets to Mombasa and even helped with dinner reservations, which made the whole trip seamless and stress-free. I can only say thank you, and I highly recommend this agency to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. A small note from my experience: be sure to double-check prices, as some companies may charge significantly more for the same itinerary.
We experienced so much on this safari! Charo was careful to not over-promise and he absolutely delivered. It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
I went on the 3-day group join Masai Mara safari with my friend, and we joined 4 other guests. We are two young women travelers and this was a great selection. Our guide, Charo, was kind and knowledgeable about all of the animals. He was timely for our trip, and even included some fun surprises in the park. He made it his mission to help us find all of the Big 5, and we did! He was in contact with the other drivers in the park, so he was able to drive us over if there was an important sight, such as a leopard or a pack of lions. Overall, the trip was very safe for solo travels and lots of fun. This is a budget safari, so you’re staying in tented camps rather than a lodge- but it’s alright for two nights and the tents have bathrooms and showers in them. I’d recommend this safari to anyone! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience :)
Our safari in the Maasai Mara was exceptional from start to finish. The logistics were handled with precision; the airport pickup was spot on time, and the transfer to meet our guide was seamless. The Wildlife The density of wildlife was staggering. We successfully tracked down 4 out of the Big Five, alongside a spectacular variety of other species. Highlights included: Predators: Lions (including a lioness on a fresh kill—an incredible sight) and crocodiles. Giants: Majestic elephants and towers of giraffes. River Life: Plenty of hippos. Our Guide A massive thank you to our guide, Charo. He was absolutely flawless and dedicated. His expertise and intuition were the reasons we saw so much; he even managed to position us perfectly to witness a lioness with her kill, which was a true highlight of the trip. Accommodation We stayed at the Jumbo Mara Lodge, which I highly recommend. It offered a peaceful atmosphere and was staffed by a dedicated, attentive team. It provided the perfect balance of comfort and tranquility after long days out on the plains. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-standard, reliable safari experience.
Our experience in the Mara was absolutely incredible, we got to see so many animals up close and capture lots of memorable photos to share with family and friends that weren’t able to join us. Charo was a lovely guide and did his best to ensure that we saw every member of the big 5, was incredibly accommodating for all of our pesky requests to adjust the parking of the vehicle to capture the perfect shot! 100% would recommend.
We did the four-day safari through Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru with Civitatis, managed by Perfect Safaris. Overall, the experience was very positive. First of all, I want to highlight the work of our guide Francis. He was exceptional: he shared with us both the culture of Kenya and his passion for its wildlife. He has a special talent for spotting animals and explaining everything in a clear and engaging way. I also want to thank Damaris and George from the Perfect Safaris team for their excellent support. Especially Damaris, who had been in touch with us before the trip, always answering our questions with great patience and professionalism. As for the safari itself, the organization was very good: comfortable transport, an excellent guide, and decent food. The only part we didn’t enjoy as much was the accommodation in Masai Mara. We spent two nights in a camp that was quite old and run-down. Although the staff were very kind and kept everything clean, it was below the standard I am used to. After doing some research, I realized that accommodations in the area are very expensive, so for the price we paid, it was understandable. Still, I would recommend paying a bit more to stay somewhere of higher quality. I also think it would be very helpful if Civitatis and Perfect Safaris showed real photos of the lodges on their websites, so travelers know exactly what to expect. As a suggestion, I believe the ideal route would be: two days in Masai Mara, one day in Lake Nakuru, and finishing with a boat ride on Lake Naivasha before returning. In our case, we missed out on this and I think it would make more sense than having a rest day in the middle of the safari. In my opinion, a four-day safari is perfect—any longer might get tiring. In conclusion, I highly recommend Perfect Safaris. They managed everything with great professionalism and always responded quickly to any issues. Our guide Francis was outstanding, and Simba, who drove us back to Nairobi, was also wonderful. I leave very happy after seeing the Big Five—this has been an unforgettable experience.
I had an absolutely amazing safari! Everything was perfectly organized, from pick-up to drop-off. The landscapes were breathtaking, and we were lucky to see incredible animals up close in their natural habitat. I highly recommend this safari to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable adventure in Kenya.
Great 4 Days of Safari with our Guide Castro. Thanks for the good Spots , made Great pictures and Met nice guys along the way . Cya again soon 😀
The driver is good and professional!but the agency office is extremely irresponsible, they forget to book my accommodation in Nakuru! The office only booked five rooms in Nakuru for the six-person tour group, one room less which resulted in me having to wait at the reception for more than 40 minutes while they tried to negotiate a last-minute booking with the hotel. This was not only physically exhausting after a long day but also mentally frustrating. The hotel itself was also extremely disappointing and unprofessional, made the situation even more unacceptable : our travel group consisted of six people, yet only five rooms were reserved. Statistically, anyone could have been left without a room, but somehow I was the one sacrificed by the hotel. What’s worse, two of the five who received rooms had just joined the group that very day — meaning they were last-minute additions. If a room had to be reassigned or delayed, it should logically have affected those who were added late, not someone who had been part of the group from the beginning. The driver even had to take me to check other hotels in the area. While we were on the road, the office contacted us again and said they had managed to secure a room back at the original hotel, forcing us to turn around and return. This back-and-forth was completely unnecessary and exhausting.By that point, I was physically tired and extremely frustrated.
Masai Maru was breath taking. I got to see Lions feasting, majestic elephants, buffalo, leopards and white rhinos. Lake Nkuru was the largest lake I have seen. The safari guide, Castro, was an excellent driver and negotiated some tough terrain like an expert. The only down was the cleanliness of the budget Masai Maru camps.
Let me tell you about our experience! It was incredible! Everything was great from the very beginning. I want to immediately thank our guide Mark, who was impeccable in everything. Without him, we would not have seen what we saw. He complied with our request to leave earlier than the appointed time without any unnecessary questions. He also did his job as efficiently as possible and did everything to ensure that we saw all the animals. I highly recommend everyone to go on a safari with him. You will definitely be delighted! A huge thank you to the director George, who answered any of our questions as quickly as possible, helped us with everything and was very kind from start to finish. We managed to see the big 5 and the ugly 5. On the Mara River, we saw a huge 5 meter crocodile, which was shocking😅. We saw all the main animals up close and took incredible pictures! Unfortunately I can't share all the amazing photos because most of them were taken with a camera. It was an unforgettable experience that will remain in your memory for the rest of your life. I definitely recommend a safari with this company. We will be back soon! Thank you so much!💛🧡
Sammy, our driver and guide did a great job!! Sammy was a safe driver on the Mombasa highway to and from our destinations. Sammy knows well the animals we sought to see and understand. He knew where the lions were hiding in the bush and took us to see them, just ten feet from our vehicle!! Sammy is trustworthy and a great guide. Thanks Sammy.
Absolute value for your money. The whole experience was way beyond my expectations in every way…accommodation was good, food plentiful, excellent all terrain vehicle. Our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable both with animals and birds. I can’t wait to come back and would definitely book with this tour company again.
We had a great experience hiring Perfect Safari 4 day budget tour to Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru. Since I booked this tour for 2 people the attention through whatsapp and mail was very kind, especially from Elizabeth who answered me back immediately I asked any doubt I had of the tour. Kyalo ( the Driver who was with us during the game drive) was very attentive and we could see the 5 five 🤗🤗🤗 I highly recommend this tour.
It was a wonderful experience, Charo is a great guide and we managed to find all the animals we wanted. The accommodation is not very good, but the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Communication with the agency is good, our flight was delayed and they arranged everything so we could continue the tour. The food is simple, but tasty. They also provide enough water, but there aren't many places to stop to use the bathroom, keep that in mind, as it's many hours in the car. I recommend and will return.
Fantastic safari!! Albert and Castro were two excellent guides and ready to follow our every request. Very good at finding so many animals. An unforgettable experience
The guides Vastro and Albarat were impeccable and super in everything! Fantastic organization!
Fantastic safari. The guides Castro and Alberto were excellent. They allowed us to see many animals from very close up. They are good drivers. Very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them
Our experience was incredible. Paul, our guide, was excellent; he took us to see many animals and his explanations were clear and concise... the availability, kindness, and organization were among the strong points of this excursion. We were very lucky to be accompanied by Paul and Peperoncino. Highly recommended! 😀
Unforgettable trip in Masai Mara, where you can see 4 of the 5 "Big Five" after the migration. Meadow after meadow with hundreds of wildebeests and zebras. With Lake Nakuru and Amboseli you complete your Safari experience in Kenya seeing rhinoceroses. Beautiful sunsets, many birds, tribal differences... in short, an unforgettable experience thanks to our guide Calvin who took care of us the whole time and made sure that we saw all the details of his beautiful country
All wonderful. We were a group of 9 friends with a 4-year-old boy. The accommodation is fine, tent with attached bathroom, without expecting great luxuries as we are inside the reserve. The food, buffet, fine. The driver, Sammy, perfect, very attentive and explaining everything. But the best thing, Ellisabeth and George, the managers; what could have been a travel disaster because we were delayed and arrived 9 hours late, they arranged everything to be picked up and solved the problem. The airline lost our suitcase and they picked it up the next day and handled the transfer. Anyway, they make you feel like they care about everything at all times. I spoke English, but you can hire a guide in Spanish.
The 4 days in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Park were a great experience for animal lovers/fans of wildlife watching. We were able to spot many different animals very close and felt very comfortable at any time. Our Landrover was spacious, cozy and offered a good view of the animals. Our guide Lulu (Ron) was super cool, friendly and allowed us to meet animals close by. We would want to go on a safari with him again. He told us a lot about the animals and informed us well about all the steps of the tour. This tour is highly recommended and a must for the Big Five experience.
We had 4 lovely days in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Park. We were able to observe a lot of animals very close and felt very comfortable at any time. Our Landrover for animal mocking was cozy and has a good view. Our guide Lulu (Ron) gave us great animal encounters and was always very friendly and good. We had a very good time with him and can only recommend spending the days with him. We were always well informed about the further planning and also about the animals he could tell us a lot. There is a lot to see on this tour, we recommend it.
The experience was sublime! We have no complaints to make, Lulu was almost a friend more than a guide. Always ready to joke, prepared on any question one asked him, punctual, well organized and very accommodating! The atmosphere in which we lived these days was like a movie, all wonderful, fun to look for animals hidden in the trees and bushes. Surely if someone asked us the agency used for the safari we will make your name!!
This tour is very good value for money. It fulfills the promise of performing 3 safaris, in which we could see up close, but very close lions, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, etc. The accommodation of the first 2 nights is made in a camp that is located adjacent to the reserve so when leaving tent, you can see in the distance giraffes and wildebeest feeding. The tents are welcoming, and the attention of all the staff very loving. Special mention should be made of our guide Bernardo. Always very concerned, very attentive and willing to answer all our doubts. He showed great knowledge not only of mammals in the places visited, but also of birds and vegetation.
