Lulu was a fantastic guide. From start to finish, he took excellent care of us. Thanks to him and his field experience, we were able to see all the animals we were looking for, and see them multiple times. Thank you very much.

WOW, my 4-day tour with Perfect Safaris to some of Kenya’s greatest treasures was a trip of a lifetime! As an experienced traveler I can honestly say this was one of the very best tours I’ve ever been on. My tour guide Opany was the ultimate partner and friend on this unforgettable adventure through the Pride of Africa. From pickup to drop-off Opany went above and beyond for me every single day to ensure I was happy, comfortable, laughing, seeing all the animals, and having the time of my life. I want Opany to be my tour guide on every tour I ever go on, he’s that good! A HUGE thank you to Perfect Safaris and Opany for giving me such an incredible experience that I feel inspired to tell everyone to visit Kenya with them.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Safari Experience Ever – Castro Is an Amazing Guide! We had an absolutely unforgettable experience on the 4-day Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru safari. It was truly one of the best experiences we have ever had! A huge part of what made this trip so special was our guide, Castro. He is simply the best! His knowledge, experience, and incredible ability to spot wildlife made every game drive exciting. He always managed to position the vehicle in the best possible place to see the animals, giving us amazing close-up views and fantastic opportunities for photos. Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru were breathtaking, and thanks to Castro, we were able to enjoy the wildlife at its very best. His professionalism, patience, and passion for what he does made the whole safari even more memorable. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone, and if you have the opportunity, ask for Castro as your guide. You won’t regret it! Thank you, Castro, for giving us an experience we will remember forever! 🦁🐘🦒🦏❤️
We had a lovely tour with Jimmy and Jose they were very helpful and answered all our questions. It was an amazing experience and I would 100% recommend.
Jimmy and Jose were the best guides ever! they were super helpful, kind and prepared . Thank to them we got to live an amazing experience in kenya and to know a lot about the culture and the animals. I would definitely do it again!
An unforgettable safari in the Maasai Mara We had an absolutely wonderful safari experience in the Maasai Mara with a group of friends and our children. We were incredibly lucky to see an amazing variety of wildlife, often from very close range. The highlights were definitely witnessing hunting scenes with both a cheetah and lions — unforgettable moments that made us feel like we were inside a nature documentary! Our drivers and guides were excellent: very friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to explain interesting details about the animals, their behaviour and the Mara. He was also fantastic with the children, constantly involving them, answering their questions and making the safari exciting for them too. We always felt safe, both while driving and when approaching the animals, and at the same time he knew exactly where to go to give us the best possible experience. Beautiful landscapes, incredible wildlife and lots of great moments together. A truly memorable experience for adults and children alike. Highly recommended!
We were two families of ten people in total, and we spent four wonderful days on safari in the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru, with two jeeps. It was an amazing experience! Our guides, Jimmy and Jose, were absolutely wonderful: kind, professional and very knowledgeable. They explained so many interesting things to us about the animals, nature and Kenyan traditions. We saw so many animals and enjoyed every single moment of our safari. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Kenya! 🦁🐘❤️
Everything was excellent! They accommodate the last moment request for naivasha trip boat. Mark our driver was very usefull. The only comment for improvement was the fact that we wait 2 hours in the morning to start that we could have avoided. I would definitely do safari again with them.
The advertising of the tour clearly show, in the day 3, a 60 minutes stop at Lake Naivasha. The admission fee was paid but we did not stop in Lake Naivasha in any time. I don't know why.
We booked a 4 day tour to Masai Mara and lake Nakuru with a shared jeep. Our driver Calvin did his job very well. He was informative, punctuate and friendly to us and specially our children. We mostly appreciated that he did everything for us to be able to see the big 5 in Masai Mara national park, and getting a close view of both cheetah and leopard. There are plenty of lions, elephants and giraffes, and we are pretty sure these are guaranteed to get a close up to. The only "surprise" for us may have been the simple standard of the camp we stayed at the first two nights, and we would only like to mention that the operator could communicate that the facilities at this camp are basic with electricity shortages at specific hours. However, the staff there are friendly and the stay is limited as mostly of the time is spent game viewing/driving. The Masai village visit that we optionally booked in our tour was not good at all - a short dance where the group was afterwards separated and guided to see different houses (with a story of how the men in the village are supposed to kill a lion to become a man, which we find unlikely realistic being an endangered animal), and with selling overpriced souvenirs (fake lion tooth necklaces). The stay at the hotel in Nakuru was nice, and the game drive to lake Nakuru offered good opportunities to see many animals. Our driver and guide Calvin was exceptional all the time and tried his best to be in service for us. All in all, we did the trip for the game viewing, and that is what we got. And more than that.
Had a great time on Safari. I was picked up at the airport after arriving in Nairobi and transferred to the jeep upon meeting the company representative. At the end of the tour, I was dropped off at my lodging as requested. Park fees were requested in cash although I originally planned to pay directly via cc. Calvin, the driver, introduced the plans each day after everyone was picked up from their various lodging. Some tour members had a physical itinerary, but I'm unsure where/if it was available to view. I didn't have a problem with the selected itinerary and was happy to leave the planning to someone else. Seeing the various animals was amazing, and Calvin answered a host of questions and provided commentary on their background and history. He searched high and low to point out all the animals and made sure I was having fun. This was a bucket list item and I'm so glad to experience it. Lodging was wonderful. My first tent camping experience provided a comfortable bed, hot shower, private toilet and delicious food. The soups were amazing! Minor car repair issues arose, but were handled by the driver. Be prepared for traffic delays.
The Safari trip was absolutely amazing and something everyone should do at least once a life! Calvin was an amazing driver and made sure we came as close as possible to the animals. Highly recommended!!
Very nice experience. Masai Mara was a great trip. I only took the entrance for one day, the second since I read that spending 200 dollars for the entrance to the park for 2 hours (that is what you do the first day, is not worthy) If you do like that I think you are fine, if not I understand that some ppl complained about it because they take too long to arrive there the first day. The hotels they set us all in were very nice, we had very good food in the hotels but the picnic was quite poor (they gave us basicall y a load of empty bread and a chicken wing). However as I said our hotels stays and food there was good. Guide was trying his best to get us close to the animals though didnt explain much Overall a recommend experience and fullfill what I expected from it
Wonderful trip and our guide Alvin was incredibly sincere, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Plus, he went that extra mile to show us great experiences in the parks.
The views and animals were amazing and our tour guide Calvin knew a lot about the animals and where to find them and also about the Masai people.
We had an extremely memorable 4 day trip with Castro from Perfect Safaris. The budget accommodations were clean, the staff was friendly and the food was plentiful. Our guide, Castro, took great effort in getting us to see all the different wildlife, answering questions and ensuring we had a great experience. We would highly recommend. Perhaps a few tips: if the water isn’t offered, simply ask for it. The nights in the camp can be accompanied by loud nature sounds, think of packing ear plugs. Bring some extra cash for additional tips, especially if doing any optional activities. It’s a great experience especially at the cost.
It was an amazing and unforgettable experience! Probably, I would say that it has been one of the best trips of our life. The staff from Perfect Safaris was incredibly nice and helpful. Clara and the manger from Perfect Safaris for were really understanding when one of our bags did not arrive with us the night before our safari. She replied to our phone call late at night and they were flexible and allowed us to go on the same itinerary leaving one day later. The safari was incredible. Albert, our guide, was super professional and very skilled driver. He did great efforts to take us to spots where we could see the big nine. Also, he took care of the group ensuring that everyone’s needs were accommodated. The accommodations, especially at the camp outside Masai Mara were better than expected and the food was delicious! Would 100% recommend to book this safari with Perfect Safaris!! We would do again without a doubt!
This was the experience of a lifetime! First of all, we need to thank Clara from Perfect Safaris for her flexibility and understanding when one of our bags did not arrive with us the night before our safari. She attended to our late phone call and was able to get us on the same itinerary leaving one day later. The safari was incredible in all facets. Albert was an utmost professional and very skilled driver and game spotter. He repeatedly put us in spots to get lucky which we did, seeing 8 of the big 9, although we know this is not always possible. The accommodations, especially at the camp outside Masai Mara were better than expected and the food was delicious! The vehicle was comfortable and we felt well taken care of throughout our experience. Would 100% recommend!
Really amazing Rama our guide was stunning. We saw so many animals. He took the time to explain the different animals. He was really friendly
John took us on our safari, he was great knowledgeable on where to spot the animals, saw a cheetah, loin and many more, ,bottled water seemed to be very limited, over all a well organised safari, thank you Viator
We saw all big 5 of Africa! It was Amazing! Albert (our guide) was super polite and fun! He shared a lot of interesting facts about the animals, making our experience even better. Only downside is that on the last afternoon safari we didn’t see almost any animals, could have followed a different route.
The tour was really PERFECT. We had to postpone our trip due to Covid-19, but Perfect Safaris was so very kind to change the dates without any charges. Our driver, Ronald was really wonderful. Very kind and he found all animals for us even cheetahs and rhinos). He is an outstanding guide and a very safe driver. We would recommend everyone to do this safari.
Castro's guide & driver were amazing. It has been a wonderful journey to stay in my life. I have traveled to many different countries, but I have never been so excited about a trip. Our guide Castro was a good driver and desperately looked for animals! Thank you so much.
Beautiful safari! And above all excellent guide Albert was really attentive, polite, respectful, at our service and above all very human. We chose this airline because when I spoke with Elizabeth, I found it very human and the prices were reasonable. We do not regret it. We also saw the big fives in one day! We recommend 4 days and 3 nights as a stay with a visit to the city and another park.
