Early breakfast then check out. A simple complimentary lunch will be provided at the Travellers motel on your way back to Nairobi. After this, you have an option of visiting the nearby Maasai village for a cultural tour at USD 20 per person. We will have a chance to visit the traditional village of the local tribe here called the Maasai. They are happy to show us their culture and traditions, show us their lifestyle, and how they live and co-exist together with the wild animals. For Maasai, cows are wealth. Maasai have long employed a “green” approach to land management. Lion-hunting is a traditional—but no longer practiced—Maasai rite of passage. In decades past, young Maasai men proved themselves as warriors (moran) with the ritual killing of a lion—either single-handedly or in a group, and using only their iron spears as weapons. It’s nearly impossible to beat Maasai in a jumping contest. On arrival you will be dropped at the city Centre/hotel within the city center

Didn’t expect much but wooahh its like 10/10 experience. Saw all the rarest cats, animals & in general the vibe, the explanation was so good. Our guide was Albert - obviously will do another tour w him !
We had an amazing time. Would highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Calvin did an excellent job in making sure we spot the animals from a good view and was very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will cherish this memory forever.
An incredible experience—I am truly very satisfied and would recommend it to those close to me. A special mention goes to our guide, Calvin, who was incredibly professional, very kind, and clearly an expert at his job. Furthermore, he speaks French—which was absolutely wonderful for me; he would explain things to the group and then provide a separate explanation in French just for me. A big thank you to your team, and especially to Calvin. Merci beaucoup Franck Latzer
"An unforgettable safari experience with Calvin. He was super knowledgeable, professional, and amazing at tracking wildlife—we managed to see 4 out of the Big Five in under 2 hours! Thank you, Celvin!"
Sami is a truly professional guide—patient, respectful, and understanding. He is the kind of guide you don’t come across every day.
We had an amazing safari experience! Everything was well organized, and the trip was truly unforgettable. The wildlife, beautiful landscapes, and opportunity to see animals in their natural habitat made the experience special. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the trip. The accommodation and overall arrangements were good, and we really enjoyed every moment of the safari. Thank you for making this trip such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone planning a safari in Kenya! 🦁🐘🌿
We had a wonderful experience. Our tour guide Kimata was excellent and very helpful on our tour. He always had a smile and positive attitude. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids 6 and under. He embraced them all and was aware of the family needs. We got to see the big 5 and he did a great job getting us great views of lions, a leapord, elephants and more. He knew the park well and was able to get us to key locations.
I went for 3 days and 2 nights. It was a brilliant once in a lifetime experience. I stayed in luxury lodge for a good price. Managed to see lions, cheetahs and leopards and other animals which were fantastic to witness up close. Our guide Kelvin, went above and beyond on this safari trip, he drove us around promptly to ensure we could see all the animals, and kept to a organised schedule so we could have the full experience. The Landcruiser Jeep was very comfortable and had plugs so we could charge our phone. We also got to see the Maasai village which was a very insightful experience. The safari trip was very organised and they also got me prompt transfers to and from the airport so I could catch my flights to and from Nairobi. I would definitely recommend using this company for Maasai Mara Safari trip, good value for money, very organised and reliable and excellent experience.
Everything went well, we have seen a lot in a short time, guide Mark is a skillful driver, polite and knowledgeable.
It was a great tour.Mark the guide was very informative.Drove us as close to animals as possible. The tents clean and comfortable. The food very tasty and filling Overall a well planned adventure.I would book.with Mark again
My partner and I went for a Safari trip in the Miss Zehra and we had the best time with Mark. He was very knowledgeable about all the animals in the national park and gave a great detail on everything and made sure that we had best experience seeing as many animals as possible, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend Mark as a tour guide as he obviously cares about the animals and what he does. Thanks, Mark.
Such a memorable trip. Everything on time, transfer from Nairobi and back all smooth. The camp had everything you needed and exceeded expectations. Food was also great! We saw 4 of the big 5 and mark was an excellent guide & driver. Highly recommend!
Maasai Mara trip was excellent watching many animals, knowing about the animals from the guide. Our guide Kelvin was really cooperative and knowledgeable. Always ready to answer our questions and ready to help.
Our guide, Calvin, was very knowledgeable and kind; he was incredibly helpful in every regard. The safari experience itself was truly amazing—witnessing wild animals in their natural habitat from such close range was absolutely thrilling. Thank you for everything.
Prefect Safari was truly perfect, in contact, communication, everything was exactly as promised, the safari exceptional. Thoya who helped with all the logistics was very helpful and clear, they picked me up from the airport and took directly to the safari. Accommodation was very good and the food. Lulu our driver / guide was outstanding he found out where all the sightings and made sure we got all the best views and shots, he was polite and went out of his way to help specially when i took a bit ill.
Lulu was the best! He was a best driver, a great teller about the animals and the environment. So we had a great time!
This experience was absolutely amazing! I am convinced the Robert, our guide was the absolute best! Beth who booked me was also amazing. The experience was seamless. Robert was pne of the best tour guides Ive ever had. He was prompt, very courteous and respectful of everyone. He ensured everyone had a great experience. Even when some guests complained (to no fault of Roberts, but whoever booked the tour), Robert went above and beyond to ensure everyone was happy. I cant say enough about Robert. When you go on this tour make sure to requeat Robert as your guide!
A huge thank you to Carmelina and Opinyi for this amazing 3-day experience! We got to see the Big Five and so many other animals. I would definitely recommend them!
I stayed two nights at Rhino Tourist Camp and enjoyed the game drives in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. It was a really exciting experience. We were in a group of eight, and everyone was very friendly. Our driver, Mark, was also friendly and a really good driver. He took us to the best spots to watch the animals. Thanks to him, we managed to see all of the Big 5 and even saw a lion hunting a buffalo! We also enjoyed the awesome landscapes. Overall, it was a fantastic tour, and I would recommend it to anyone going to Kenya.
Like the name of the company, the safary was very perfect. The driver / guide (Kematta who drove the car with the number KBU 591 G) was so professional, helpful, awesome and friendly. I loved the safari rides so much with him. He provided us so many information about the different animals and he was keen to let us see all the animals in the safari whenever possible. Regarding the budget camp, I would say it is good but the rooms need to be more clean concerning the water used and reptiles that sometimes get into them through the windows and holes. Windows need to be closed well and bathrooms need to be cleaner. Otherwise, the location of the camp is amazing.
This was the best value for a solo traveler looking to go on safari. Communication through Thoya was impeccable. Mark our driver and guide was punctual and also communicative about exactly what and when things were happening. Plus, he worked really hard to find us all of the Big Five in Masai Mara. What an amazing day! Accommodations exceeded my expectations. The rooms/tents were spacious and the beds very comfortable. I cannot recommend this tour enough for solo or small group travelers looking for an affordable safari experience.
The safari was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed every single moment of it. Our guide “Kimata” was extremely caring, helpful, and funny. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible, insisting on showing us all the animals, and we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five! He brought all our meals and was always punctual every day. His excellent knowledge of the Masai Mara made the experience even more special, and he took us to incredible places, including the Great Rift Valley, the Mara River, and the Tanzanian border. Everything was beyond our expectations, largely thanks to him! The only downside was the camp. We stayed at Rhino Tourist Camp, and although we understand that it is a budget camp, the cleanliness and room conditions were disappointing. The rooms were not particularly clean, especially the bathrooms. The toilet had a water leak, and the windows did not close properly, allowing many insects and even a lizard to enter the room. Unfortunately, this affected our comfort during the stay. Overall, the safari itself was an unforgettable experience, and our guide truly made it exceptional. However, the accommodation could definitely be improved to make the entire experience as wonderful as the safari itself.
We had a great Two days in the Masai Mara including seeing the big 5, plenty of hippos, zebras, and giraffes. Our guide mark ensured everything was catered for and that we got a great view of the animals
Very nice experience!!! 100% recomendable!!! Mark our guide was very profesional and we could see the Big fives!!!! It was incredible!!!
This was a great experience. Pick up to the meeting point was coordinated. Your driver will be your tour guide for the duration of the trip. On the first day you will check in , have lunch and do an evening drive. The evening drive captures at least 2 of the big five. The following day start with breakfast and a full day drive with lunch and water provided. It was a wonderful experience in a live national geographic documentary and highly recommend this experience. For the experience your tour guide / driver will make the difference maneuvering other groups and finding the specific areas and providing interesting information about the park. Accommodations was suitable each tent contains two beds with private washroom ( warm water included) . Food provided was basic and good. Lunch was adequate and nutritional. I included the tour of the Masaai Village, celebratory dance and way of life. The third day we got to sleep in a bit, have breakfast and hit the road to return to the city. On our return we stopped for a buffet lunch and a quick stop at the Great Rift Valley before being dropped off to our designated return stops.
Lots of delays. We wasted 2 hours in the beginning waiting for 1 person whose plane haven't landed yet. We wasted time from the safari on the first day and we had a quick lunch. The second day safari was cut short because 1 person wanted to leave early and they returned everyone so they can drop that person at the camp. Other cars and tours, they all saw Leopards and Rhinos, except us. When a car finds a rare animal, they broadcast it over radio. Our driver and tour guide didn't take us there and just kept us close to the gate. He didn't give us much information and just was chilling and waiting. He mentioned multiple times that we have to tip him. The car was very uncomfortable. If you sit in the front, your legs will burn from the engine heat. If you sit in the back, it is very squeezed. If you travel all the way to Kenya, book a better tour so you don't waste your money and time.
Great guide, he really made the effort. He was very nice to be around.
We had an amazing experience on our 3-day group joining safari to the Maasai Mara with Perfect Safaris Africa! The Land Cruiser Jeep was comfortable and perfect for the game drives, and we got to see incredible wildlife in their natural habitat. The breathtaking scenery made the experience even more memorable. A special shout-out to our guides, Sammy and Samson, who were absolutely fantastic! They were conversational, insightful, helpful, and very professional throughout the trip. They made the experience more engaging by sharing interesting information and ensuring we were well taken care of. The entire experience was well organised, from the pickup in Nairobi to the safari itself. It was also lovely sharing the adventure with fellow travellers. I would definitely recommend Perfect Safaris Africa to anyone looking for an unforgettable Maasai Mara safari experience. Truly a trip to remember! 🦁🐘🌍
Truly amazing experience. The tour was very well organised from start to finish and I would highly recommend this tour and this company. The package includes transport to and from the Masai Mara (from Nairobi), driver/guide, accommodation in a permanent campsite, food and water - which we think is extremely good value for money. You get picked up in Nairobi around 7-8am on Day 1 before making the long trip to the Masai Mara. We arrived there around 3pm after a few stops including a lunch stop. We had approx 4 hours safari on this day until darkness at 7pm. In this time we saw all of the big 5 plus a leopard hunting, an endangered black rhino, many zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, warthogs, buffalo, baboons, different types of antelope, birds and so on. We finished with a stop under an acacia tree for sunset. That’s just on day one! Day 2 is a long day starting again around 7am coming back at 7pm. You make your way to the Masai River to see hippos and Nile crocs, and you have a guide there on foot who walks you down the river (with a rifle for protection). On this day we saw pretty much everything from the previous day plus cheetahs, hyena, hippos, crocs, ostriches, monkeys, guinea fowl, and loads more antelopes / birds. We got to witness a lion trying to take out a zebra (unsuccessfully), and lions eating a buffalo. Day 3 there is an optional Masai village visit for around an hour, it’s $20 per person and you do it before heading back. Back at around 3-4pm in Nairobi. The jeep is a big Land Cruiser with a roof that rises for better animal viewing. Our driver Calvho Orono needs a special mention as he took superb care of us the entire time making sure to get us to the best spots for animal viewings, and getting us to known sightings really quickly before other jeeps turned up. We chose the option where you pay the park fees which are $200 pp per day so for this tour it’s $400 pp. The standard accommodation is the Rhino Camp, we can’t comment on this as we decided to upgrade to a private glass cabin in the Jambo Mara Lodge - the upgrade is around $460 ($230 pp) and although we didn’t get time to use the pool, we feel it was still well worth it for the comfort, food etc. The food was so much better than we expected. It’s buffet style but they also have a station where they cook everything fresh so in the morning it does omelettes and pancakes and for dinner it changes daily with options like make your own pasta dishes, stir fry, noodles etc. They are VERY generous with the portions of meat, prawns etc and it’s delicious. The room was spacious with a glass balcony, huge comfy bed, etc. The lodge also has a gym, pool table, table tennis etc. Overall, we would highly recommend this to anyone.
The Safari trip to Masai Mara was really great. The guide Chris was great and had a lot to say about the wildlife and nature. Also very flexible with pickup and drop off location, I was staying in Nakuru and they helped me out a lot.
The animals were truly incredible. I cannot express this enough. The trip itself, however, was quite disorganized. I had to repeatedly ask the guide what was happening, and I found we were sitting in parking lots waiting for unreasonable amounts of time.
Very Memorable Trip, we got a competent Guide named Kelvin , we successfully saw all the big five animals in Africa and not only that , the ugly five as well. It was a superb experience!!
Mark was a perfect guide. He is super funny and relax. You can trust him. A really professional
I saw everything I hoped to see in wildlife. Our guide, Kimata, was fantastic.
An amazing trip! Thank you to Marc for this beautiful experience. He drove us to every single animals.we had the chance to see the big 5 and ugly 5 as well! I recommend 100% A dream came true 😍😍😍
Wonderful experience, I had great time and get to see all animals I wanted (even leopard). Our guide Marc was helpful and efficient so everything went really smoothie
Safari with Mark was an unforgettable experience for me. On our first day, we already saw 4 of the Big Five. On the second day, he wanted to complete our “collection” with one of the rarest animals - a leopard. And that’s how, in just 2 days, we managed to see the Big Five and many many more animals thanks to him. He was always in the right place at the right time. He was ready to answer all the questions we had during safari and he was making sure that we enjoy our trip. I totally recommend booking a safari with him. Asante sana, Mark!! 🦁🐆🐘
Had a great time on this tour Mark was very efficient in getting us the best view to see the animals and we saw 5/5 of the big 5 and ugly 5!
We had an amazing safari experience in the Maasai Mara thanks to Albert, our wonderful guide. We would like to sincerely thank him for his professionalism, kindness, patience, and great sense of humor. Albert was an excellent guide from start to finish. He knows the Maasai Mara extremely well and did everything he could to make our safari unforgettable. Thanks to his experience and excellent knowledge of the wildlife, we were lucky enough to see so many animals and incredible moments in the wild. He was always attentive, helpful, and happy to answer all our questions. He took the time to explain the animals, their behavior, and the environment, which made the experience even more interesting and enjoyable. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire safari and created some wonderful memories that we will never forget. A huge thank you to Albert for making our Maasai Mara safari so special! We highly recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced, friendly, and passionate guide. Nabil & Claire
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely incredible experience with Perfect Safaris on our Masai Mara trip, and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Our guide and driver, Isaac, was fantastic from start to finish. His awareness and knowledge of the Masai Mara were incredible. Whenever a call came through on the radio about an animal sighting or something worth seeing, Isaac made sure we didn’t miss out. We really enjoyed his driving, as well as his knowledge of the area, the wildlife and the local people. Even when the conditions tested him, he remained brilliant and always went the extra mile to give us the best possible experience. We were lucky enough to see 3 of the Big Five, which was an incredible experience in itself. Isaac even took us to the riverbank where a leopard had been spotted. We waited patiently with several other safari vehicles, but unfortunately the leopard decided not to come out and play! It was still a great experience and showed just how determined Isaac was to make sure we had every opportunity to see as much as possible. The whole trip was extremely well organised. Thoya was a great point of contact throughout the planning process and really put our minds at ease while organising what was a dream trip for us. Our accommodation at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge was exceptional. We had beautiful private accommodation, fantastic food and brilliant staff, all in an amazing location just minutes from the safari itself. And then there’s the Masai Mara — the scenery was beyond anything we expected. It was simply unbelievable and gave us memories that we will never forget. A huge thank you to Thoya, Isaac and everyone at Perfect Safaris for making our trip so special. We arrived with a dream of experiencing the Masai Mara, and you delivered an experience we will never forget! 5 stars from us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our safari was an unforgettable experience. Seeing wildlife in their natural habitat was incredible—lions, elephants, giraffes, and so much more. Acomodation and food very good! The guides were knowledgeable and made sure we didn’t miss anything!! Definitely recommend! Thank you a lot!
What can I say? This was an incredible experience. Isaac was such an amazing guide and driver. He knew all the places the different animals would be. Other groups would talk about not seeing certain animals, but we saw everything. I was like 10 feet away from a family of elephants, and we also got about the same distance from two lions. We saw leopards and a black rhino, and some other rare cats as well. I chose this tour because it was the most affordable option, and to be honest, when I saw the groups that paid more...it seems like their experience wasn't that much more extravagant. If you're going to Maasai Mara, I feel like this is the definitely the way to do it. All our meals and sleeping arrangements were taken care of. We even had a surprise lunch under a tree on the border of Tanzania. The views were unreal. When we got back to Nairobi, Isaac waited with me until my ride came to pick me up. He was super attentive and chill. Honestly I couldn't have asked for a better safari experience. I made friends with the other travelers and because everyone chose this experience, it made for a more fun energy. Three days was perfect. Our car was full but I was comfortable. One couple was on their honeymoon, and they stayed at a nicer lodge at night. They seemed to have a really romantic time together. I loved every moment of this experience. Thank you Issac and team for being so thoughtful and taking care of us every step of the way. Sincerely, Matthew.
I recommend the safari with Albert. He is very friendly, helpful, and dedicated to spotting animals. It was a fantastoc adventure. If you want to go on a Safari - only with Albert!
Touring the safari with Albert was an absolute pleasure; he made a great effort to spot as many animals as possible. He is an excellent driver, and we felt safe and well looked after. It is clear that he loves animals and is extremely knowledgeable about them! We highly recommend Albert.
I really enjoyed everything you should book with wonderlust adventures
The backdrop of the Great Rift Valley savanna was magnificent, and it was a wonderful experience to observe animals and behaviors that you simply wouldn't see at a zoo. Our driver, Mark, was a man of few words, but he possessed excellent driving skills and a keen eye for spotting wildlife—thank you, Mark.
Overall great tour and guide Mark made sure we got to see all the animals and share his knowledge on the animals and the park. One point of improvement, for the park entry fees it was communicated beforehand that it could be paid cash or through a payment link. I opted for the payment link but it was not provided and we suddenly had to get cash out of the ATM at pickup which was a hassle and made us arrive at the park late. This process should be improved.
Our guide Calvin was amazing and devoted for us to see a maximum of animals. The experience of the safari was perfect. The accommodations are really basics and it’s one safari on the evening the first day, safari the second and only the return on the third day.
As this was my first safari experience, I did an extensive research on the tour reviews and came across with this one. I had a wonderful and very memorable safari experience. Great tour mates from the different corners of the world, excellent tour guide/driver ( thank you, Opany!) and all the animal sightings every 10 minutes in a beautiful scenery.
