3 Days Adventurous Maasai Mara Budget Group Safari

Had a wonderful experience with our Nairobi & Maasai Mara package. Everything was well organized, and the safari was truly unforgettable. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and getting to see so many animals in their natural habitat. A special thanks to our driver Mr. Philip, who was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the trip. He made our safari even more enjoyable with his guidance and excellent driving. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this package, especially with Mr. Philip as your guide. 🦁🐘

At first i was a little unsure but this was the best decision ever. The service was n top. I went with a guide called Dennis and he was so kind, patient and he knew the places to look and go to be able to find the animals. We really enjoyed our safari. I recommend baboon on budget safaris.

Baboon Budget Safaris provided an excellent safari experience from start to finish. Communication before the trip was clear and quick, and everything was well organized as promised. The guide was experienced, friendly, and very knowledgeable about wildlife, which made the game drives enjoyable and informative. Poorly organized safari company. We paid for three seats but only got two on the way back from Maasai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi, forcing my child to sit on my lap for five hours. Compensation was promised but never delivered, and communication stopped completely. Not reliable. One staff member said another passenger had missed their original vehicle and was placed into our car, taking one of our paid seats. • Another person claimed a different safari vehicle had broken down, so passengers were redistributed among other cars — again resulting in us losing a seat. Regardless of the reason, this is not the customer’s responsibility.

Great arrangement and organising team. Got the best guide who patiently showed us the Big Five. The company understood patiently what we were looking for and curated our trip accordingly. We were a group of five and had the time of our lives. The owner and company staff are extremely kind and helpful. Special thanks to our safari guide who made our trip memorable. At Kenya, don’t think twice before booking them. You’ll have the best experience.

We had an amazing experience with Baboon budget Safaris. Right from picking us up from Kenya until our journey till Masai Mara and back was well planned and organized. Ariana coordinated everything very well. Dennis made adjustments to our last minute plans. Anthony was the best guide one could ask for. Despite us telling him that we were done with seeing the animals, he was still energetic and enthusiastic even on the second day of our safari. We were lucky to see the big 5 and the whole pack of other animals and birds too. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I went with Baboon Safari on the recommendation of some friends of ours, as they had already done the programme with them and really enjoyed it - our experience was identical: they always arrived on time, kept in constant contact with us via WhatsApp and answered all our questions. We had only booked a 3-day safari, but we regretted not staying longer, because it was completely worth it! This experience was only possible thanks to our fantastic guide, Boni (the younger one): extremely professional, careful, and knowledgeable about the terrain and wildlife, we highly recommend him! For financial reasons, we chose the budget option and it was very peaceful. This option only has two drawbacks: 1 - sometimes we ran out of water and electricity (but Baboon quickly found a solution) and 2 - the food was quite repetitive and limited in choice. Overall, we really enjoyed it and hope to repeat it soon.

Huge ripp off. Much too expensive for what you really get. Bad car, bad driver, worst accomodations imaginable. Stay away from this company, you'll be cheated.

In my opinion, this company is not reliable at all 👎 The most important things in travel is security for you but u don't have with them. I had left my phone in the safari car and was stolen by this company's employer I searched a lot to find it but this company's boss didn't help me even to report police. Im sad for select this company 😔 I couldn't enjoy my trip without my phone

The tour was spectacular! Anthony was super friendly and considerate! We even saw a cheetah kill on this tour which is quite rare to see and doubt that can happen quite often. I would definitely recommend this tour with Anthony to many others! The whole trip was really nice.

I’m strongly recommended BABOONBUDGETSAFARIES.👍👍👍 After booking the Safari the representatives of the company get started to write me immediately and always answering on the whole my questions. It was amazing experience that we have ever had in our life. We managed to see so much animals due to our guide Bonniface (Bonney). We see giraffes, leopards, Cheeta’s, buffaloes, lions, elephant and so on. Special thanks to him 👏. He met us at night in the airport. Tell a lot of interesting facts about animals. His driving skills on a high level and we hadn’t got stucked. Some drivers from another tourist company have been stucked many times. In this situation you’re waste of time to managed it. We have even a free WI-Fi. So you can stay always online. It was long way to get to the Masai Mara Park but you’ll never been disappointed. You’ll get so much energy and adrenaline. 😀😀😀

I originally booked through a different safari company but as a solo traveler, I guess they didn't want to provide the service so it appears they kind of "sold me off" to Baboon Budget Safaris. I'm so glad they did! My driver was Anthony and we had another solo traveler like me on the safari. Anthony is a great driver, super knowledgeable, funny and was constantly making sure we were doing okay. We stayed at Miti Mingi Eco Camp. I was pleasantly surprised. The food is good, owner was friendly, bed was comfortable, pillows were nice, shower was hot, electricity worked fine, etc. He even let me borrow a towel because I forgot mine. Both days with game drives were beyond words. We saw gazelles, giraffes, cheetahs, leopard, water buffalo, elephants, jackos, hyenas, elends, wildebeasts, warthogs, etc. But the true highlight came after Anthony worked his magic and we found a pride of lions. Shortly after we arrived, they made an attempt to kill a huge water buffalo! The hunt was unsuccessful but it was still a site I will never forget. We had a nice picnic in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Anthony knows everything about what we saw; the animals, plants, birds, etc. He could answer all our questions. On the last day, we had a nice visit at a Maasai village. Also, such a wonderful experience. I will return to Kenya again. This was my second time here already but it was my first safari experience. I want to come back again with my family. When I do, I will not even consider booking with another company. I will book with Baboon Budget Safaris and I will request that Anthony be our guide. I highly recommend this company who wants to have amazing memories of their time in the Maasai Mara.

Anthony, our guide, did put our needs first and was able to find all the cats for us. He is a professional and knows a lot about the animals. It was amazing to get to spends the three day safari in Masai Mara with him. He is very nice, easygoing and seems to enjoy his work a lot. Would recommend him to anyone! Five out of five and extra points!!

Mansour, that's the game driver you should ho with. Very professional. It was my 1st tíme in safari and i spotted 4 out of Big five. Everything was good, accomodation, food, game driving, etc. People do not forget medicine 🙈 i get diarrehea during whole my trip. Thats not easy to manage without medicine 😂 I was thinking either to take anti-malaris druhá (which i did in the end), but its not necessary. So its Up to you (but use repelent for sure). Price and service i get from baboon is fair. I get a hint from my friend to use baboon and i suggest to other people do the same. Very reliable company (they even picked me from my home, which is quite far from centre and drop me back afterwards). Thanks, Tomas

As someone who has done safari in several African countries, I have to say that Baboon Budget Safari was by far the worst safari operator I ever had. It started right at the beginning in their office when they gave us a terrible exchange rate for the part we paid in Shilling (we lost more than $100 because of that. At least we got some of it back after the safari after several protests). It was not only that but also the lies that this would be the normal rate due to Covid-19 and we would not get a better rate if we change it by ourselves in Nairobi (which was complete nonsense). Also, the card machine was suddenly not working anymore when we said we want to pay the remainer by card. Moreover, we were told that no more than 5 people will be in the car. In the end, we were the only two tourists, however, 4 staff member joined the tour (to fill the car?!) and during the whole trip it felt more like we were guests on their company expedition than customers. Corona measures? Zero! Nobody was wearing a mask plus all the staff members were constantely talking and giggeling. The only one who is not to blame was our guide Anthony, who did actually a decent job. Still, the overall experience with that company was just bad and if I read the other 1* reviews I am not surprised about what I read. All in all, I cannot recommend this company because the people who work for Baboon Budget Safaris are unprofessional and dishonest.

I was on three days safari in Masai Mara with my wife and two children (at the beginning of February 2020). Our tour guide was Anthony and he was great. He was kind and I liked his driving style. We saw lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopard, giraffes, antelopes, hippos, crocodile, monkeys. Masai Mara is beautiful place. And we were satisfied with services of Baboon Budget Safaris company.

Professional and excellent service from the Nairobi office. We had a very exciting trip to Masai Mara NR staying at the Miti Mingi Eco Camp with very good service and comfortable overnight stays. Our guide Simon took us through three very exiting game drives in the park with close enclosures with the animals. The Safari was a great experience where Baboon Budget Safaris gave us great value for the money.

The experience was good. The guide was a good driver and a nice person. We enjoyed the safari and the accommodation was good too. Denise answered all our questions quick and he made sure that everything was ok. Reccomended!!
