The 3-day Jeep Safari at Masai Mara was a wonderful experience. Everything is very well organized, starting from the pickup in Nairobi. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, taking us to the best places on the morning-afternoon game drive every day. I saw lions, elephants, buffaloes and rhinos in the Big Five, and even leopards on trees. There are giraffes, zebras and many deer. Being in a small group has got individual attention. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and the food was good. It was a little stressful to do the safari for the first time, but I didn't expect to get such a good experience within the budget. I would definitely recommend to those who want to go on a safari in Africa for the first time.

The 3-day Masai Mara Jeep Safari was like a dream for us. The guide always took me to the best spots, so I saw about four of the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros). There was a facility to take pictures by opening the roof in the pocket, the road was also handled well. Accommodations were great, food was good and service was excellent. From the pickup to Nairobi, everything was very well organized. Being in a small group allows for individual attention. Budget friendly and a great experience. I would recommend this trip if you are going to Africa for the first time.
Maasai Mara's dream came true with this 3-day jeep safari. I went for the safari for the very first time, so there was a bit of tension. But all in all, it was great! The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Every morning and afternoon game drive took us to the best place. I have seen lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras - almost everything. I saw a leopard on top of a tree. Accommodations were clean and the food was good. Pickup and drop from Nairobi is completely hassle-free. It was a very small group. I didn't expect to have such a great experience on a budget. If you want to try this package for the first time. Awesome experience!
For three days, we went on a Masai Mara Jeep Safari. Being part of a small group, it was very comfortable. The guide took me to the best places every day, so I saw a lot of animals. I've seen four of the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino). The pickup-drop from Nairobi was all smooth. Accommodation was good, food was good and service was excellent. Budget friendly and a great experience. If you want to go on a safari in Africa for the first time, you can take this package for sure.
The three-day Masai Mara Jeep Safari was truly a dream come true for us. From the pickup to Nairobi, everything was very well organized. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He always went to the best place. In two days, we saw almost all of the Big Five - lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and cheetahs. Giraffes, zebras, and deer abound. Accommodation was good and clean. Being in a small group helps a lot. I was going on safari for the first time, so I was a little worried. But everything went so well that it would have been better if there were more days. I would strongly recommend to those who want to see the Maasai die within the budget.
We went on a three-day Jeep Safari from Nairobi. It was a wonderful experience! Our guide George was very good - very knowledgeable, friendly and always took us to the best places and showed us the animals. Within the first two days, we saw the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino)! Accommodation was very comfortable, food was good and service was good. Perfect for first time safaris. From hotel to pick-up to drop-off, everything was very well organized. I highly recommend it to those who want an authentic but hassle-free safari. Thanks a lot!
The dream of Masai Mara Safari has been fulfilled through this tour. The 3 day package was very good. The guide DENIAL is very experienced, having seen large animals from close quarters on a daily game drive - lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and even leopards. Comfortable, clean, and good food. Pickup and drop from Nairobi everything is fine. I didn't think it would be such a great experience on a budget. Perfect for people going on safari for the first time!
It was a wonderful trip for our family. There were 4 of us. The 3-day package included everything - stay, food, guide, jeep safari and transfer. The game drives were very well organized. We saw many giraffes, zebras, elephants and lions. But unfortunately, rhinos wasn't seen. The experience is great though. Accommodations were clean and food was good. Being in a small group helps a lot. All of the staff were very friendly. The journey from Nairobi was also hassle-free. This is a budget-friendly option for people who are going on a safari in Africa for the first time.
It was an amazing experience! Our guide Calvin was a skilled driver over very rough roads, a knowledgeable guide ready to answer any questions and was very accommodating of everyone’s needs. Great holiday! We saw so many animals and it far exceeded my expectations. Thank you.
This is a 3-day Masai Mara Jeep Safari! The pickup from Nairobi was on time, the guide was very knowledgeable and always tried to make sure that we could see the animals in the best place. In three game drives in three days, we saw 4 of the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and the leopard was also seen on the second day! Mara's vast grasslands, giraffes, zebras, hippos - everything seemed like a dream. Accommodation was simple but clean and comfortable. All in all, I'm very happy to have had such a good experience on a budget. If you want to go on a safari for the first time, I would definitely recommend this trip.
The three-day trip was incredible! As we drove out of Nairobi, the road through the Great Rift Valley was breathtaking. In Mara's game drives, we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, even a leopard on the second day! Our guide was very knowledgeable and always strived to ensure the best sites. All the staff were very friendly and professional and the food was delicious. Perfect for those who want to experience the magic of African safari without spending too much time. Very much appreciated!
On a safari for the first time, so I was a little nervous. But this 3-day Masai Mara Jeep Safari takes away all our fears! The guide was very experienced and friendly - I saw almost all of the Big Five (lions, cheetahs, rhinos, elephants, buffaloes) in the daily game drive. Especially on the second day, a leopard was sitting up in the tree, the guide gave the perfect time to take pictures. The jeep is very comfortable, the roof can be opened - ideal for photography. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, food was good (breakfast, lunch, dinner all included). Pickup-drop from Nairobi is all smooth. I didn't expect to have such a good experience on a budget.
We've never done a safari before, so I was a little nervous. But this 3-day Masai Mara Jeep Safari has removed all our fears. There were regular game drives every day and I got a chance to see almost all of the Big Five. The Jeep was very comfortable, and the guide helped us take the time we wanted to take pictures. Food, accommodation and transport were arranged without any hassle. The whole trip was beautiful and memorable.
Our 3-day Masai Mara Jeep Safari was absolutely wonderful. This was the perfect first trip for us. The daily game drives were well planned, and the guides were very experienced and friendly. On the very first day, we saw lions, elephants, zebras and deer. On the second day the 'Big Five' is complete with the opportunity to see leopards and rhinoceros. The jeep was comfortable and ideal for taking photos. Accommodation and food were simple but clean and comfortable - great for a budget tour. Every part of the tour was very well organized, so there never seemed to be any trouble. Seeing the vast grasslands of Masai Mara and innumerable animals the journey has become the memory of our life.
After returning from Tanzania, we participated in the 3-day Masai Mara jeep Safari in Kenya, and in a word, the experience was great. The entire tour from Nairobi to Masai Mara was very well organized. The first day I saw lions and giraffes, and the next morning on the game drive I saw elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and a cheetah in the distance - I felt really lucky! The guide is very experienced, adept at finding animals and telling stories about them. Accommodation and food were good and comfortable. This package is perfect for those who want to taste the safari on a low budget. We're very happy!
Unforgettable experience. Game drives was amazing and the guide chosen as well. The accommodation ( Sopa lodge ) was amazing too.
I have traveled on safari several times with Bencia Africa Adventures & Safaris, but it was the first time for the group of friends I was with. We all had such an amazing experience thanks to Alfred for setting it all up for us and thanks to our driver George for being such a wonderful and helpful guide. Alfred made sure to give us lots of options of places to stay based on different budget ranges so that we could select the option that was the best for the entire group to agree on. Everything was smooth throughout the entire trip and we all had an amazing experience together! I highly recommend booking with Bencia!
Amazing experience! Best staff. Really good local food! The guide showed us all the animals and gave us the best photo opportunities.
Alfred and his team provided us with the absolute best experience. They consistently went above and beyond to accommodate the needs of our group and our driver, George, was amazing. He always helped us to get the best views!
Our safari guide, George, was a gem. He knew exactly where to go and was so patient while we attempted to get the perfect photo. Highly recommend!
Bencia Safaris did an excellent job..Our Masaai Mara trip was amazing...Your customer oriented services were top notch...I would recommend Bencia to everyone without a doubt..Thank You very much Bencia Safaris
Bencia Africa made a dream come true and let us have the best experience ever! Our driver and tour guide Joseph had the best skills in seeing animals and in driving through every type of ground to bring us to the best places to see animals. And indeed we saw almost every animal from up close with the best view! Furthermore Bencia Africa provided our own chef. John was an amazing cook, always making sure we would have eaten enough to get through the day and always smiling and being friendly. And his food was fantastic! The service was amazing and they did more than they had to do according to our opinion. As we arrived in Nairobi, we first spent a day in the city and just started Safari the next day. Yet, Bencia Africa made sure to pick us up from the bus stop and brought us to our hotel the day we came though it had nothing to do with the Safari. Especially for the fact that it was a budget safari, the service was outstanding! The price was excellent and yet it was not missing anything: there was comfort, service, profession. I would definitely recommend to book Safari with Bencia Africa!
Visited the Mara with my friends which was the one of the best tours I had,the meals were also great
We have spend 4 days in Masai Mara with this company and it was worst of all game drives we had during stay in Africa. - poor english of driver, couldn't cath a sense of the sentences -car was not prepared for rain season( broken wipers, lack of solid tow rope, we were supposed to push car in mud) - we were charged for tickets which never been paid ( company is cooperating on the side with gate keepers) however we received our game driver. The feeling we've been tricked was painful.Lies in your face. Plus was the food and they were on time with schedule. To sum up -find someone cheaper or pay all tickets on your own.
It was an realy nice Tour. The driver was nice the food was also great. Everything went smoothly and I was very satisfied
We had the pleasure of taking a 3-day, 2-night excursion to the Maasai Mara with Bencia Africa Adventure and Safari, and it was an unforgettable adventure. Our luck was incredible, as we were able to see all of the big five - lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos. The food was nothing short of amazing, with a talented cook who seemed to work magic in the kitchen. Joseph, our guide, was fantastic. His knowledge of the Maasai Mara and its wildlife was exceptional, and he did everything in his power to ensure that we had the best safari experience possible. Joseph was also personable and enthusiastic, and his love of the wildlife was contagious. The tents were comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. I wholeheartedly recommend Bencia Africa Adventure and Safari for their excellent service in all aspects, including food, wildlife sightings, guide, and accommodation.
We enjoyed the adventure every moment thanks to our guide Clinton. He was exceptional, explained every question we had (I am one of this curious person who ask a lot) and he was very friendly, clear and professional. You get to see every animal in the safari and its so impressive. Also had the chance to meet the Masai and their culture, joining every activity they do with them. I would definitely book with this company again as the price is one of the cheapest youre gonna find. No doubt an experience needed for life!
Excellent tour guide. George was very knowledgeable about the area and animals. he was very helpful and organized our safari very well. their chef was amazing and made a fabulous food. i was very pleased by my trip and i would recommend them to everyone.
My favorite part of the experience was that I saw the big five and the meals were great,Bencia is 🔥
Charles the manager is a dishonest man who will tell you whatever he thinks you want to hear to sign up for the tour but when the tour starts they will not deliver on the things they promised in the itinerary. Do not use this company. There are so many other legitimate companies in Nairobi that you don’t need to put yourself what I went through. Also, do not be fooled by the spiel about how bencia is an operator and how other companies are not and they’ll just push you onto bencia anyway, because they is not true. Bencia shares customers with other customers as what happened to me but worst of all Charles is unprofessional and dishonest and that is just the worst combination. He won’t keep his promises and then he yells at you when you try to bring up issues with the trip.
I have done Safaries before but this experience was very Different and beautiful. The price was very affordable and the service was so good, the driver, the cook, the travel assistant and the owner were very professional. I highly recommend them for any Travellers looking for Memorable Safari. Thank you once again for this beautiful time and your hospitality.
Initially I booked a 2 days/1 night safari to the Maasai Mara through WhatsApp (awesome and easy way to do it I must add) I was picked up on time by my fantastic guide, dropped off at BAAS offices to finalize my booking and for payment. Unfortunately (not really in the end) another of my tours got cancelled and I was convinced by the very helpful guys at BAAS to book an extra day, which I did. Best decision I made, because the second day we did a full day safari and we basically saw all the wildlife possible. Absolutely amazing experience with an even more amazing guide (some top notch driving was displayed). Overnight stay at the camp in “tents” was above expectations (hot showers and electricity). Also super flexible at fitting a safari tour to everyone’s needs, which sometimes makes it all a little chaotic (different agencies, companies use the same camp/guides to do the tour, so people might have different itineraries), but the guide was very flexible and wanted to give everyone the best possible safari experience, so we came to a decision as a group. Would definitely book with these guys again, highly recommend.
We had a great trip with the guide James. He had knowledge of where to go and what to see. He could have given a little more detailed information of the itinerary on a daily basis. But a great guide and we highly recommend him. We did a late request for a safari and we got a quick response. Only information we didn't get was to not pay full amount via M-Pesa, the company made us pay 26 usd extra as a M-Pesa fee.
It was amazing trip with Benica Africa. Everything was organized at the highest level - transfers, accommodation, excellent guide and driver!
Let’s start with I never wanted to camp or go on a safari… I had an amazing time. I saw some really cool animals up close and personal because of the best driver possible Joseph.
PERFECT Until today I have never regretted choosing Bencia Africa adventure and safari.I had the best trip to masai mara and successfully happened to spot all the big five with our best driver George.About the meals I don’t even know how to describe, it was awesome and delicious, our chef John is really the best .The vehicle was in good condition and comfortable, the cleanliness in the rooms was perfect and we had the best …Everyone was so friendly and social to us ..they were willing to listen to us ….I wil highly recommend everyone to try with Bencia safaris
It was an amazing experience.Joseph is the best guide we ever had.We have seen more than we expected
Guide Clinton was very professional and friendly. Was a great safari. Bstrds Sandra from Portugal in Masai Mara from 5th to 7th september
Great service with a wonderful trip. Hopefully we will be back soon, you guys gave us an incredible and unforgettable time
We really enjoyed this safari more than I can describe. Joseph was an excellent guide and travel companion. The staff at Mara Ndovu lodge were all wonderful, especially Miriam. The food was exceptionally great as well. We got to see 4 of the Big 5, as well as 10 billion wildebeest. I’d highly recommend this tour.
I love love love this safari trip. I am a cheap traveler and rarely spend that much on one thing in a journey, but it totally worth it, and I highly recommend it.
This is an amazing tour!! From the lunch, the guide brought us to a really tasty roadside restaurant for lunch that is clean and super tasty food. And the lodge was superb! It was close to the National Park! We saw all the Big 5 and the driver was amazing and focused on having the guests see all of the animals as his goal! This is a once of a lifetime experience I cannot recommend highly enough!
Be aware that this is a “budget-friendly” tour, and you will be transported (from the airport as well as to the Maasai Mara and for all game drives) in an old white van, NOT a 4x4. The van is not the most comfortable and is quite bumpy and noisy to spend so much time in it. (You are pretty much in the vehicle all day every day while on Safari.) Had we realized this was the transportation we would have considered spending a bit more, especially since the vans are more limited than the 4x4 in terms of where you can go in the park. In addition, the first day we were picked up late and did not have the Day 1 experience that was planned for us (no restaurant stop for lunch and no break for refreshments at the lodge) because we were told we had to go straight to the park if we wanted to make it in time for our Day 1 game drive. This meant we had to spend an uncomfortably long time in the van - more than 10 hours! The accommodation (Enkorok - mid range option) was really nice with great service and decent food. However, the packed lunches were pretty much inedible for us. The last day our trip was cut short and we had to leave early due to a Covid lockdown in Nairobi. Some of the interruptions to our trip were the company’s fault and some were not, but throughout everything they were very disorganized and did not take responsibility, leaving us to feel that they didn’t really care about the quality of our experience. After lots of back & forth (during which they never apologized for our inconveniences) Bencia did finally agree to compensate us after our return to Nairobi with a gsm drive in Nairobi Park (which was amazing) and taking us to the giraffe center. This made us feel like we got our money’s worth and we were satisfied with this compensation. Our driver for the Nairobi day was Joseph, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. His company made the day very pleasant and enjoyable. All in all we did have an amazing time on the trip, and the company was okay in the end despite some points not being what we expected.
Once in a lifetime experience, you see all the different animals. You will definitely be impressed. Worth the money.
We had a splendid game drive from Nairobi. The guide was brilliant and knowledgeable and ensured a wonderful and entertaining game drive. The tour was comfortable and pleasant.
We booked our trip with Viator, which was conducted on place by Perfect Wilderness Tours. The start of our trip delayed, because the company told that they will pick up us at 7:00 am from the hotel, but we waited for almost 2 hours before the taxi driver arrived that to bring us to the place where we moved to our travel vehicle. But all other travel was perfect! We saw many animals on the way to Masai Mara and in the Park, we visited Masai village on the back way. We saw many mammals, birds and reptiles, we have been on the river where the great seasonal migration of mammals passes... The food was good, the camp sites were clean and safe with good accommodation conditions. Our comments regarding this tour: - Our driver did not tell us much about wildlife and places, we needed to ask him. - He stopped in some cases only when we asked, trying to execute the program, in which were "big five", but we were interested to see not only "big five", but also to see other species of animals and plants. - Many vehicles as we saw often came too close to species such as lions and cheetah disturbing them and their privacy. - Main roads in park and around are not well maintained. We assume that tourist industry could more care about this. - Local Masai people live in such miserable conditions, that we assumed firstly that it is kept such for tourists. But anyway, it is ashamed for tourist industry do not support local communities and do not contribute to education, remaining the general traits of local culture.
I together with my other five friends we booked safari with Bencia African Adventure through Alfred three days prior to safari actually everything was well organized, the driver came to pick us on time, the whole safari was full of fun we managed to see the big five...we had a fantastic cook George we really enjoyed the meal. I may recommend Bencia African Adventure as the only company which is pocket friendly interns of the cost, were their service are second to none...
t will be a long review, but here you'll have all the details of how it goes with Bencia africa because it's seems a bit tricky to find a good safari agency. We did a safari in Masai Mara with them in january, they sold us 15 hours and 30 minutes of game drive in three days (first evening, then full day, and last one during the last morning). We bought it 280usd (you can find cheaper in other agencies and probably with them also...) for transportation (2 ways from Nairobi), food and tent (like military ones with shower inside). The van was so old it broken down the first day 200 meters after the entrance of the park, so no game drive the first day. The second one the program said "game drive from 8.00am to 6.30pm". At 5.00pm the driver reached the exit gate, we asked why so early, he answered "it's a rule setted by the park"... And the next morning the program said "game drive from 6.30am to 9.30am", we did just one hour and then again the driver tried to explain that we were too late to continue the game drive... The driver doesn't care about the program (and passengers), so we requested the company for something (partial refund or something else) and here start their funny answers. They first answered "the 2 people we shared the van with were happy, so the company cannot make any refund". I replied that we don't care about the feelings of the others in the van, we had a contract and nothing of it was respected. So they answered "our driver made a detour of 40 minutes, so we consider this as a compensation". Then i replied that we never asked for a detour but to be dropped on the way back to Nairobi to take a local bus to naivasha (but the driver brought us to naivasha even if i told him that we'll find a bus). Juste for you to know, public transportation for Naivasha is about 1 dollar from there... So they tried to compensate the 5 hours in the park they stole us with a one dollar drive. Then we continue to talk with them and finally they said that there will be a refund but we wait and we wait and nothing happen. We just leave one star for George the cooker who's a really nice person and the only one with honesty in this company. If you want more informations about our experience, don't hesitate to contact me. I have the screenshots of the WhatsApp conversation as a proof of what i write, and that i don't exagerate/inflate the reality. It's just for you to not make same bad choice than us.
Love the safari! Absolutely wonderful and George did his best with the itinerary. However, we were under the impression that it was a three day safari. We spent several hours driving there which is a great way to see the towns. Bring your lunch with you otherwise you will stop at at "seasons" tourist trap and spend $15 USD dollars each for buffet style lunch not including a drink. Extremely over priced. The women at the door said she wanted to open a hotel because white people have money. Disappointing to hear this. Hint: you can can easily buy a large lunch for 350 shilling at local places. On our way George drove around and we did see a group of male lions, a herd of giraffes, zebras, etc. Once at the Keekorok Lodge we were welcomed by the friendly staff. The place was full and lively with multiple safari groups. The staff will escort you to your rooms at night because of the resident Hippos that walk the grounds at night feeding. Spend plenty of time at the over look to watch Impalas, Water Bison, and Hippos chattering. The food was good! Unfortunately there was an American women who wrote notes of everything she thought was wrong with the service. Her high pitch voice would carry though the cafe. She went by the name of Jam lady which was quite annoying. The staff did their best to accommodate every country visiting. Day 2. We saw the big 4 (no Leopard)! It was a fantastic day and George did not disappoint! Don’t be alarmed that if Park Rangers or Lodge staff walks with you they will give you the impression they need to be tipped which can be quite frustrating. A large amount of locals vocally stated we had money because of our skin color. It was embarrassing to hear and you have to bargain for everything so be prepared with small shillings. Day 3 drive back to the Nairobi. We did not do the morning drive for the hunt then return back to eat. It was eat and get back to the city. We were under the impression from our confirmation that we had a school tour; Oloolaimutia Primary School, Kenya. We booked over the weekend so we could see the school on Monday. The school was on the website and our package itinerary. Instead we stopped at the Masi Village. Just a bit misleading and on the way to the lodge and back to the city you will stop at multiple tourist traps. Our guide was fantastic but the company did not hold up to their part. To avoid long rides you can fly into Masi Mare. There is a small runway that will fly you into the lodge which would have been a better option to avoid traffic. Flying into the reserve you will actually have the full safari days to see animals. A+ for George. C- for the tour operator.
We joined 3days masaimara tour and I can say it was lit. Everything was amazing!! Driver, Joseph drove well even our car broken sometimes 😂 Cameraman, Charlie took lots photoes and send us later. Cook also served Tam(delicious) foods. We asked them to serve Ugari, which famous in Africa and they cook for us! We interact a lot with african people. They gave us amazing experience. It's cheap compared to other tour and you can get amazing trip. Only 3days, but we saw lots wildlife. We found Rhino too! They send us to airport and we had nice time! for Japanese,
