Beautiful clean hotel in a good location. Just a bit wild after dark. Great service and amazing breakfasts. Everyone was friendly and nice.

True African hospitality! As a single woman traveler, one can have some anxieties re: the hotel experience, but Sankara staff made the experience truly enjoyable for me. Everything was done with care and precision, with customer service at heart. Location is great and gym is well equipped as well. Pool could be cleaner but given winter, it's not much in use so perhaps that's why.

Was dreading this stay because my friend and I had an overnight flight and arrived way before check in. James at the front desk was amazing though and made sure we were comfortable until our room was ready. The rooms were solid and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. Special shoutout to George who saw me working out and got the sauna ready for when I was done. Highly recommend due to the amazing service from the staff.

Stayed at Sankara Hotel in Nairobi and honestly, it was a great experience overall. The hotel is clean, modern, and has a really classy ambiance without feeling overly stiff or corporate. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout the stay, which always makes a huge difference. The rooftop pool area is definitely one of the highlights. Amazing views of Nairobi while relaxing with a juice in hand. Proper atmosphere after a long day in the city. Breakfast was buffet style with a massive variety of options available. The only downside for me personally was that there weren’t many halaal-friendly options, so that could definitely be improved. The property also has two restaurants onsite, which is convenient if you don’t feel like dealing with Nairobi traffic in the evenings. One thing to keep in mind, traffic around Nairobi is hectic. If you have meetings or need to get around the city, leave at least an hour early because traffic can humble even the most optimistic person. Overall, really solid hotel, great service, beautiful environment, and definitely worth staying at if you’re visiting Nairobi.
