Personally, I really liked Nairobi Serena Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and very comfortable. I especially liked the nice gardens, the clean rooms and the friendly staff. The location is also convenient because it is close to the city centre. The hotel is a bit expensive compared to some other hotels, but I feel the service and the experience make it worth considering. I would recommend it to someone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay in Nairobi.
Never dissapoints. The first experience is the staff, all staff from the entrance, security, lobby all of them know everything and anything about the hotel. They guide and hand you over to where you need to be. It's about people, their smiles, confidence and humility. Once you experience the people on the frontline, everything else completes the experience; the food, ambience, greenery, security, everything!
Would like to share our recent experience at the Serena Nairobi Hotel. Our time there was wonderful, the staff - from the door man to staff at the restaurant and reception were warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. Always willing to help and made us feel at home. Keep up the good work.
I shouldn't even give one star. As the person running the hotel think hos name is Pankaj is the most rude person I have met in my life. Hotel was inf a month ago that I was vegan. None of the staff knew about it. And when I questioned Pankaj, only dirt came out of his mouth.
We had the pleasure of spending our Valentine’s date at Nairobi Serena Hotel, and it was truly a memorable experience. The date was pre-reserved, and from the moment we arrived, the reception was warm, seamless, and exceptionally well-organized. The ambiance perfectly matched the Valentine’s mood—elegant, romantic, and inviting—setting the tone for a beautiful evening. The food was well prepared and enjoyable, with a good variety on offer. However, as a meat lover, I was slightly disappointed to miss out on steak options, which I expected to be part of the dining experience or at least available for sampling. Including such options would greatly enhance the experience for guests with similar preferences. The staff were outstanding throughout the evening—attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. Their service contributed significantly to the smooth flow of the night and made us feel well taken care of. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the in-house live band. They were exceptionally prepared for the occasion and delivered a captivating performance that elevated the entire Valentine’s experience. The live music added warmth, romance, and a celebratory feel that made the night truly special. Overall, we had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed our date. With even tighter coordination across all service areas—especially menu planning—this experience could easily move from great to exceptional. We would gladly return for future special occasions and highly recommend the venue for couples seeking a classy and romantic celebration. 💕✨
