Movenpick Hotel & Residences Nairobi

The place is so serene you might forget you're in the city. Silent, cool and sparkling clean including the washrooms. The establishment doesn't mess with security so prepare for a courteous but thorough check on entry. The easiest 5-star rating I've given as there's absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. Excellence sums it up👏👏👏

Our stay at the Mövenpick Hotel was absolutely outstanding from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. The staff were warm, professional, attentive, and always seemed willing to go that extra step to make our stay special. The hotel itself is beautiful, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. Our room was spacious and relaxing, and everything throughout the property reflected the high standards you would expect from a first-class hotel. The food was excellent, with a wonderful selection and consistently great quality. Just as impressive, however, was the service. Whether we were dealing with reception, housekeeping, the restaurant staff, or anyone else around the hotel, we were always greeted with a smile and treated as valued guests rather than simply another room number. What really sets Mövenpick apart is the people. A beautiful hotel is easy to appreciate, but truly exceptional hospitality comes from the staff—and they delivered it every single day. We have traveled extensively and stayed in many fine hotels, and Mövenpick easily ranks among the most enjoyable experiences we have had. We would return without hesitation and enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking for outstanding accommodations, excellent food, and genuinely first-class service. Five stars without question. If you give me the city/location of the Mövenpick and the names of any staff members who stood out, I can make this much more personal—which usually makes a review far more powerful.

We had a great time at the sizzling buffet on the second floor..From the welcoming team,Naomi to Patrick were very efficient, professional and very friendly.. Patrick was so knowledgeable about the drinks menu and he upsold to us blueberry cake slices which was the best choice. The highlight of our night was amazing beautifully captured by chefs Esther, Patrick and Naomi effortlessly serving us. Pumpkin soup was to die for kudos to the chefs..The pastries oh my heaven 🫶🏻 Our day got ruined by a very rude receptionist. We approached her to ask of someone and she was not welcoming her response was “ i am alone and so clearly she is not here..at night we work alone” as if it was our mistake for her to be on shift alone. Despite everything we enjoyed our evening

I stayed at the Movenpick for 6 days. I had a very comfortable stay. The rooms are wonderful and very large. Fairly well noise insulated and a good nights sleep is quite possible. The breakfast manager Edward knew my name the first day (and those of the other guests that morning!), and touched base every morning, this was a very nice touch that I appreciated greatly. The lift directly from the parking to the rooms is a nice touch making it easy with luggage etc. and very accessible for anyone with a disability. The gym on the 22nd floor is very good for a hotel gym. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay again.
