Extensively intentional about, care, ambience and service. Staff were amazing, almost felt too good to be true. Restaurants remain exquisite, hard to believe. I booked two nights here for the end of September, unfortunately due to some flight changes and the fact my booking is non refundable I can only spend a mere 6 hours here. Booking and communication has been through a third party and I understand the terms and conditions. I politely asked if it was possible because this has cost me over $500aud if a shuttle to and from the airport and a possible meal voucher could be included. Yvonne who works in reception said no. Not only that but even though I check in at 7am I'm not entitled to my breakfast and it's included in my booking. Absolutely pathetic hotel and service. I won't even bother showing up to the hotel. I'll get better quality elsewhere. Paying a further $120aud for a return shuttle from the airport is insane. I'm not staying overnight and for the booking of two nights you'd think a breakfast could be accommodated on my check in, it's really not asking much. In terms of what the hotel could do to make my stay more comfortable, the last email sent to Qantas shut down any further communication on how you could make my stay better. Driving 40 minutes to stay here even though I paid for two nights, in the hope that you could at least gift me with a meal just ain't worth my trouble. Should I ever return to Nairobi I definitely won't be going anywhere near The Hilton. $506aud wasted because the hotel is too greedy to give a bloke a beer and plate of food.
This is a wonderful place to stay in Nairobi. Located in a very good neighborhood and beautiful too. Within minutes if great shopping and dining. The hotel is just beautiful, quiet and has very good food! Can’t say enough good things. Plus if you have Hilton Honors Status they really treat you very well. This has been one of the only places where my Hilton Status has been a big deal!
This is my go to hotel when I want Luxury in Nairobi! The staff all around are exceptional from Christine at the main restaurant who listen to me share being turned away from the rooftop restaurant for being solo. After I returned to my room feeling defeated within 15 minutes I received a call from Evans the rooftop restaurant manager who apologized for my experience. He asked me to come back to the restaurant, which I did. I had a wonderful solo dinner with great drinks and an extremely attentive staff. I never felt alone! That's a 5 star experience. Thank you Christine for making Evans aware and ensuring that my stay was exceptional. The house keeping and room service staff are super great and kind. Every time I come to Nairobi I stay at Kwetu for at least 2 nights because it's been a true five star experience every time! Hilton y'all got that old school Walt Disney World customer service. The best of the best in Nairobi😎🌹
I have nothing but gratitude for this hotel. They made our stay so comfortable and memorable. The rooms are modern, well designed and very comfortable. We felt so at home. Being around the forest means you have some wonderful greenery outside too. You also get a complimentary entrance and transport to Karura forest which was gorgeous! The meko restaurant was actually really good - I’m not usually a fan of hotel restaurants but this one was good quality and service was also great. Lots of breakfast options, full of healthy and nutritious varieties and good coffee. What makes this place so special is the staff, everyone from the security guards who kept us safe, the reception staff, restaurant and grounds staff were all so friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. A special shout out to Anthony and Maxwell who always put a smile on our faces. The gym is also decent for a hotel gym… new equipment and there’s enough to get a decent workout.
