We will travel to the mythical Kingdom of Agamemnon, where one of the most brilliant cultures of Greek prehistory, the Mycenaean civilization, developed. We will then head to the Lions Gate, the monumental entrance of the palaces. Next, we will see the Cyclopean walls around the Acropolis and the royal tholos tombs of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra and also the Treasury of Atreus, a magnificent 14th century BC structure.
Next we will make a small stop to the Corinth Canal which connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf. We will then stroll around the ancient city of Corinth and see the famous temple of Apollo, built in the 6th century BC and follow the steps of Apostle Paul.
We continue the tour to ancient Epidaurus, where we explore the ancient theater, one of the most famous and best preserved archaeological monuments in Greece and Unesco’s world heritage listed monument. It is reputed to be the birthplace of Apollo’s son Asklepios the healer.
We will then visit his temple and the Asclepieion, the center of healing for the whole of ancient Greece.
Christpogher our guide was a delight his enthusiasm and love for his country was shown very graciously. what we saw was truly incedible & fantastic. Our guide was Kostas and he was wonderful. We let him know at the beginning of our trip that we really wanted to learn more about the sites that we were seeing. Kostas was a wealth of knowledge. He gave us so much historical information and we came away feeling like we knew much more about Greek mythology and history. Would highly recommend.
We thought we paid for a guided tour, not for someone to drive us around all day and then we go unescorted into each of these magnificent sites. We really missed a lot. We’ll read closer next time!

We chose this shore excursion over the one offered by the cruise line. It was cheaper, provided private transportation, allowed us to see the sights at our pace, and allowed us to arrive at each attraction ahead of the buses. Our tour guide was professional and attentive.

the company adjusted the tour to meet our ships schedule. Our driver met us promptly and went over the schedule and what we would be able to see in the time allowed. He provided water and a video to watch about the sites while we traveled to them. We were able to visit Mycenae, Corinth, the canals, and epidaurus. As a bonus he took us to the top of the city for gorgeous views of the old town and Palamidi . He also acted as a photographer to ensure that we had our picture taken at every stop. Even with all the stops we still had some time to shop in old town before boarding the ship. Note though that this is just transportation they do not tour the sites with you.
Nice, clean VW and we were transported to advertised venues (Mycenae, Ancient Corith, Corith Canal and Epidavros). However, that's about all I can comment. Driver made five remarks (there is the jail, there is an orange grove, there is a fortress, there is an ancient port and there is new Epidavros) over the entire trip of 7 & 1/2 hours. The trip was advertised as an English speaking driver but without a guide. On other tours we have taken, the normal procedure was for the driver to provide some background and insight into the places to be visited. When you arrived in the sites, one would either hire a local, site guide or conduct a self-guided tour. Not the case on this tour. What was really disappointing was that reviews I read about this tour raved about the driver and how informative he was with providing information and antidotes. Sure wasn't the driver we were provided. If I had to rate this experience, it would be in the negative numbers. It was a rip-off. Unique Greek Tours is the right name for this company. You use them once and NEVER again.
Really enjoyable trip to Mycenae, Ancient Corinth, the Corinth Canal and finally Epidavros. Even managed to watch some of the phenomenal runners doing the Spartathlon at our stop at the Corinth Canal. Our guide/driver Nikos was excellent, provided local context whenever needed and was totally attentive to our needs. A fabulous day 😀
We were able to adjust the pickup time to fit our cruise time, and had a wonderful tour with Antonios! We adjusted to fit our desires, and were thrilled to see the beautiful area in total comfort. We highly recommend!
We took a Viator Tour from Athens to Corinth Canal, Ancient Corinth and Nafplion and it was a long day but full of beautiful scenery, ancient architecture and artifacts. The traffic in Athens caused us delays which made our trip overextended by almost 2 hours. The Corinth Canal is 15 min and is amazing to see. Ancient Corinth had interesting detail including area of St Paul’s preaching. Nafplion was an absolutely beautiful little town with 3 castles, many restaurants and shopping.
A very well laid out tour for visiting several Myacean sites that should be seen as part of a discovery of Ancient Greek history. We were met at the dock and shown to a clean, comfortable van. While I know that a guide was NOT included in the package, it would have been nice if the driver could have offered a little more background on where we were and what we were going to see, rather than just a driver.
Really love transport around the Peloponnese. Christos was a very nice driver and made sure I was well supplied with water. You are given ample time to explore the sites on your own. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful day! Maria picked us up directly from our hotel in a comfortable and air conditioned SUV. We commenced our private tour around to the ancient sites of Mycenae, Corinth, and Epidaurus. We also stopped to see the beautiful Corinth Canal, then for lunch at a fantastic restaurant Maria recommended overlooking the sea. On the way home, she fit in an extra stop atop the lovely Acronafplia ruins before dropping us back at our hotel. Throughout the day she provided wonderful local stories and knowledge about the sites, gave us more than enough time to enjoy each stop, and always met us with fresh water bottles and full air conditioning when we returned from the hot sun. We had a fantastic time!! Private SUV with driver Maria who was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of time to explore each site, and fresh water bottles each time we returned to the car dripping with sweat. 😉 The day was paced wonderfully! We got to Mycenae before the tour groups so had all the space to explore. Plenty of time at Ancient Corinth with an extra stop to gaze down into the beautiful blue waters of the Corinth Canal. We stopped for lunch on the way to Epidaurus at a fantastic place Maria recommended, with gorgeous views over the sea. Again plenty of time to enjoy ancient Epidaurus and get a frozen drink to cool us off before returning to the car. On the final stretch, Maria fit in an extra stop at the lovely Acronafplia ruins before dropping us back at our hotel. This day was everything we wanted and more. Great option for a one-day tour, the driver is professional and kind. We got so much time in each stop to enjoy the beauty of this area. Also, had to mention that the driver has the best music taste on road! Feeling so peaceful and comfortable, when you go back to the shuttle!

Very flexible car driver for one full day to discover the incredible sites of Mycenae, old Corinth and Epidaurus. Great experience !!! It should be noted that fees to enter the historical sites are not included and there is no guided tour.
The guide was excellent - giving us lots of information on the ride to each stop. A very relaxed way to see these landmarks at our own pace. We were fortunate to be the only 2 that day, so it was just a Taxi driver and our guide on the trip!
Great site. Much fewer people than at the Acropolis and much more interesting in my opinion. I recommend!
