Pension Dafni

We visited Dafnis to eat brunch which is a hidden gem off a small pedestrian walkway. The food was fresh and full of flavor from the eggs, bacon to the pancakes, to the kagiana which is a traditional mountain dish cooked with eggs, tomatoes, fresh onions, feta and smoked meat. Our server was fantastic and paid attention to detail on everything. I would have posted photos of our food but I thought of it too late, we ate it all. 🙄

Wonderful hotel in historic Nafplio. My double room was spacious and comfortably furnished - it actually looked even better in person than it did in the photos! There was a good sized balcony that looked out onto the hotel's courtyard. I appreciated the small clothes line on the balcony that I used to dry my swimsuit and some other clothes. I stayed five nights and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pension Dafni or stay here again if I returned to Nafplio.

Excellent location. Very nice owners. Real Greek hospitality. Courtyard is beautiful, and brunch was one of the best brunches I tried.

We loved staying at the Dafni. The service was excellent and the location can't be beat. We took the bus to Nafplio from Athens and it was a quick five minute walk to the Pension. We were able to leave our luggage there since we arrived early. The room was spacious and we had a small balcony for fresh air and views over the rooftops. The hotel is tucked off the busy/touristy street so a bit more quiet but close enough to the action. Naflpio is a fun town to explore on foot and we rented a car for the day before taking the bus back to Athens. It was a great weekend getaway and the Dafni was exactly what we were looking for.
