Everything about this hotel amazed me, starting with the owner's and staff's kindness and elegant behaviour, to the character of the entire hotel, not only the room we stayed in. Very rich in beautiful details, mirrors and precious handcrafted objects, elegant furniture and painted handcrafted wood ceilings that all witness certain moments in Nafplio's rich history. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and beautifully served at the table, on beautiful trays, with tea or coffe in porcelain dishes, fresh fruits, fresh daily local goods. Also the great location in the old city center, allowed us to easily and quickly have acces everywhere we needed, from shops and restaurants, to travel agencies, pharmacy, bus station etc. Special thanks to the staff who always advised us where to go and what to visit in the city, for the cleaning in the room and attention to every detail so that we have a beautiful and really unforgettable honeymoon! 🙏♥️

We had a wonderful stay at Charming Hotel Ilion in Nafplio. The room was beautiful, spotless, comfortable, and full of character, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was excellent, with a delicious variety of fresh, local products that made every morning special. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredibly kind and welcoming staff, along with the wonderful owner, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect experience. Their genuine hospitality made all the difference. We highly recommend Charming Hotel Ilion to anyone visiting Nafplio and would gladly stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a truly unpleasant experience at this hotel. To begin with, even though the hotel is particular there were serious issues. For starters, there was a funny smell coming from the bathroom, obviously sewage issues. The rooms are not sound proof and this combined with the fact that the building is centuries old means that you hear literally everything from the next door room. Staff is inexperienced to say the least. But the worst and most serious issue was that we lost valuable things and the answer from the hotel when we called to ask was: “we didn’t find anything” and also: “you knew there was no safe in the room!” So to have peace of mind and your things intact opt for professionals even if your destination is Nafplio…

Wonderful hotel and super nice staff. It's in the old town and the location is just perfect to explore the area. The hotel building is 400+ years old and historic. It's OLD but it's very well maintained. We have room 4. It's a bit tight but manageable. The shower is great - good water pressure and hot. This hotel is not just great with hardware, it's also great with all the friendly staff. The check in receptionist Irene even helped to carry my luggage to my room. The staff at the breakfast greeted us with their smiles every morning. The breakfast is classy and the spread is amazing. You sir down and they bring everything to you. It has parties, breads, hams, cheeses, fruits, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, OJ, coffee, tea. There's so much food that we could only eat half of it. If you are visiting this area, look no further. This is a great hotel to stay and you won't regret it. Tips: if you have a lot of luggage, don't park up the hill which is closer to the hotel but the path is rugged and difficult to walk, plus there are stairs. Drive to Saint Spyridon Square and unload. The walk to the hotel is easy as the path is nice and flat. Then park your car near Vadileos Konstantinou and walk to the hotel.
