Amazing hotel, perched below the castle tucked away in the old town. Super friendly welcome when we arrived. Not a practical location if you have mobility issues as there are many steps.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this hotel. Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious, and the view was amazing... stunning, hard to describe. The service was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic. Fresh everything including fresh squeezed orange juice, pastries, yoghurt, jams and fruit. A just-made omelet was added to the buffet every morning. I could not get through all the options. We ate there all 3 days on the terrace overlooking the city and harbor. (Shortcomings I read about in other reviews have clearly been addressed) For us it was an easy walk into old Nafplio, a different short walk down to a beach with changing rooms, showers and restrooms, or a 40 minute challenging hike up 900 steps to the Palamidi Fortress. My only note of caution is that the hotel cannot be reached by car and is many steps up or down from the nearest parking place. Old Town Nafplio is very close, but many steps must be negotiated to get there and return to the hotel. We are both in our 70s but in good shape and felt the work required to reach this amazing spot was well worth it. Staff will help you with your suitcases. For mobility impaired, or even the not-so-spry, it might not be the best choice. But those who make the effort to get there will be rewarded!
Absolutely amazing view from the room! We really enjoyed dinner in our own room since you can’t beat the views anywhere else in the city! Also Dorina was the most amazing and sweetest receptionist/host/human being providing helpful suggestions, taking care of us during our breakfast and just going above and beyond making us feel welcome and enjoy our vacation, she deserves a raise! The place felt very safe and quiet and visiting Athens later I remember missing the tranquility and beauty of this place! Walking distances to the most amazing sights such as a fort and a castle, a beautiful beach and an old plaza/ center with old churches and streets! Loved this place!
Ok I will start with the couple negatives because there was so much positive to say… So the parking and steps down to the hotel are a little tricky so keep that in mind. If you struggle with steps or have a lot of baggage, access could be tricky for you. The other slight negative was the our shower was very small. Not a huge deal though. Now what we loved. The room was small but beautiful and the balcony was our favorite. The view was perfect. Everything was super super clean. The staff was so charming and really went out of their way to be accommodating. The location in our opinion was so amazing even though it was tricky to get to. It reminded us of upper Plaka in Athens but cleaner and quieter. Breakfast and coffee were also delightful on the patio each morning. Our only regret is not being able to stay another night or two.
Nice room for a family of 4. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Beautiful location overlooking town and the old wall in the background. Easy walk down to the (stone) beach where you can go for a swim, it is like paradise. Water was refreshing end of april. Also recommend to do the 20-minute walk along the coastline, passed the old lighthouse.
