Itinerary
Start your sightseeing tour with a convenient pick-up from the Mykonos Cruise Ship Port, making it the perfect half-day shore excursion for cruise visitors. Explore the island’s highlights comfortably and efficiently, guided by a local expert. One of the tour’s most memorable stops is the Armenistis Lighthouse, a peaceful and iconic landmark perched high above the Aegean Sea. Its elevated location offers breathtaking views of the surrounding islands—an ideal photo spot and scenic moment. This half-day tour is designed to fit perfectly into your cruise schedule, offering a blend of culture, nature, and history, all with a timely return to port guaranteed.
Enjoy the beautiful views of Ftelia Beach
Ano Mera Village – Visit the charming inland village of Ano Mera, one of the oldest and most authentic settlements on Mykonos. At the heart of the village stands the beautifully restored 16th-century Panagia Tourliani Monastery, known for its impressive architecture and intricate interior details. Enjoy a 20-minute stop with free time to explore at your own pace—whether you choose to step inside the peaceful monastery, enjoy a refreshment at a traditional café in the central square, or simply soak in the village atmosphere. This stop offers a cultural contrast to the island’s coastal buzz of Mykonos, making it a meaningful addition to your half-day shore excursion.
A visit to Mykonos is not complete without admiring its world-famous windmills, timeless symbols of the island’s heritage and charm. Located on a gentle hill just above the sea, these beautifully preserved structures once harnessed the Aegean winds to grind grain—a vital part of local life. Today, they stand proudly as one of the most photographed spots in Mykonos. From this vantage point, enjoy sweeping views of Mykonos Town, the sparkling sea, and neighboring islands. This highlight blends history, scenery, and postcard-worthy moments all in one unforgettable visit.
Little Venice is one of the most romantic places in Mykonos. The neighborhood with elegant and gorgeous old houses built on the edge of the sea.
Wrap Up Your Tour at the Mykonos Waterfront – Conclude your unforgettable half-day shore excursion at the scenic waterfront near Mykonos Town Hall. This peaceful final stop offers a chance to unwind, reflect on the highlights of your journey, and capture a few last photos with the charming harbor and whitewashed town as your backdrop. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, take in the views, and soak up the unique charm of Mykonos before returning to the cruise ship port—or continuing to explore Mykonos Town at your own pace.
A Stroll Through History. Continue your shore excursion with a guided walking tour through the heart of Mykonos Town—a true highlight of the island. Step off the bus and into a maze of charming narrow streets, lined with iconic whitewashed houses, vibrant bougainvillea, and quaint local shops. Your guide will lead you through hidden alleys and lively squares. Discover famous landmarks such as the Windmills, Little Venice, and the Church of Panagia Paraportiani. It's the perfect finale to your tour, offering a deeper connection to the island before returning to the cruise ship port with wonderful memories and timeless photos.

It was nice. Terrible weather caused us to not do the most important part (the last through town and to see little Venice). I was particularly surprised when they said we were not going to be take. Back to the port - that was also a factor in our decision to go with the bus driver who felt bad for a few of us that wanted to go back.
Had a wonderful tour. She loved her island home and spoke great English. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone desiring to fall in love with Mykonos!
Guide was very nice Myknonos, had nothing to offer. Lunch was excellent. Calamari and pork on a skewer
Christina was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. She shared her beloved Mykonos well!
Excellent guide. Very personable, knowledgeable and informative. It was our first time and this tour made us anxious to go back. Highly recommended.
The guide was fun, friendly and super knowledgeable. She kept the group together while roaming through some very narrow alleyways in Greece which could have been tough to navigate. The whole bus loved her and clapped for her at the end. Highly recommend Andrea, 5 stars all the way!!!
Christina our guide was very nice and gave us lots of information. We saw the scenery from a lighthouse and went to a village (take toilet paper!), a very scruffy beach and then in to the Old Town which is pretty.
One of the best tours we’ve been on. Loved Mykonos but with Andrea as our tour guide we learned so much about the history. She was funny, smart and knew her island.
Beautiful views and history. Loved all the little places we stopped at. Georgia was a great guide an very kind.
Our tour guide Lucy is very knowledgeable about the history of Mykonos . But it’s too much information . We didn’t do that tour to learn about the in depth history . She didn’t give us enough time to take pictures of the famous windmill .
We had Christina as the guide, she was brilliant and very knowledgeable. Very easy pick up point when you get off the ship.
It was an easy meet up at the port after getting off of our tender. Our guide was great and was very informative. She made the tour most enjoyable. We got to see a lot of the island and enjoyed spectacular views from the look out tower. It was nice to visit a small village, and later to be led through the labyrinth of narrow streets in Mykonos town. Our guide was easy to understand and repeated important instructions which was great. We took the water taxi back to the port and easily got on our tender back to ship.
We had Andrea as a guide. She did an amazing job. Making sure we knew where to go. My husband fell and she made sure that he was taken care of. There was an actual pharmacy and doctors office right there they took care of him. She told us that she would not leave us. He ended up having to get antibiotics and all cleaned up. I would totally recommend booking through them.
Wonderful tour guide! She was knowledgeable and so pleasant. Told us things that my group never heard on their tours
What a great tour! As soon as we got off the ship, our guide, Andria, was right there to greet us. We made several beautiful stops, including the lighthouse, the beach, and the windmills. Every time we got back on the bus, Andria made sure everyone was accounted for and ready to go. One thing that really stood out was how helpful and caring Andria was when my stepdad fell at one of the stops. Luckily, there was a doctor’s office nearby, and she immediately helped bring him inside and translated for us so they could properly clean his wounds. We were so grateful for her kindness and assistance during an unexpected situation! At the end of the excursion in Little Venice, she also made sure we knew exactly where to catch the sea taxi back to the cruise ship. Andria was organized, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. We would absolutely recommend this tour and would happily do it again!
The tour guides are very informative. They know the history and culture of the towns and the way of life.
Great knowledgeable guide. Good combination of bus travel to see the sights and walking tour around the town.
★★★★★ The perfect way to see Mykonos from a cruise ship! Our guide Andrea made this tour a highlight of our cruise. She was warm, friendly and so easy to understand, and she shared a great mix of history, local life and fun facts without ever overwhelming us. She was easy to approach with questions and made everyone in the group feel welcome. Pickup right at the cruise terminal was easy and on time. In just a few hours we saw so much: the views from Armenistis Lighthouse, a drive past Ftelia Beach, the charming village of Ano Mera, the famous Windmills, Little Venice, and a guided walk through the maze of whitewashed streets in Mykonos Town, ending on the waterfront at Akti Kampani. The pace was relaxed but we never felt rushed, and there was plenty of time for photos. A bonus for cruisers: the tour finishes in town, so you have time afterward to explore, shop or head to a beach before getting back to the ship. Thank you, Andrea and iTRAVEL Mykonos. We would book this again and highly recommend it!
Andrea was fun and informative! We loved all her stories and learned a lot about Mykonos. So glad we came.
Excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. Made the our tour exceptional! This tour hits all the major tourist highlights
This was a great way to see Mykonos and learn about its history. Our tour guide was friendly and helpful
Lots of information about the lifestyle and culture. Andrea was upbeat and happy amd being local really showed us what its like.
Lots of walking through the maze of alley ways in Mykonos. Unfortunately, we couldn’t hear our tour guide’s information of the surroundings because the group gets separated easily.
Our guide was amazing. She was a local and knew so much about the area. She also adjusted our tour so we didn't get caught up with all the tourists in the winding, narrow streets. Fantastic way to see the island and a great alternative to the tours offered via the Cruise Ship.
Our guide brought this experience to life. Just the right amount of information. Beautiful views at the lighthouse, the beach, the windmills and the harbor. Interesting walk through the narrow maze like streets of the town. Exceptional tour!
Christina was a very good tour guide. As a resident expat she was very informative and interesting about life living in the island. Would recommend Apologies Christina I didn’t get to say good and thank you.
Christina was the best tour guide! She made Mykonos unforgettable! She was knowledgeable, made sure we were all together from place to place, and helpful.
Andrea was our guide. She was so knowledgeable about the island. Loved her. I had been looking for an olive wood bowl forever and she helped me find it on the island.
It can be windy. Lovely guide knowledgeable, patience and friendly. Nice coach Not too many on tour.
Our tour guide was absolutely fabulous!! We hit all the main stops and she gave us a feel for what it’s like to live on the island.
Thorough tour reasonably priced. Even though the group was around 30 it didn’t feel overcrowded and there was lots of time for questions and photos. Would recommend.
be aware... this does NOT provide transportation back to the boat, the site of origin. The booking NEVER states you have to provide your own transportation back to the ship. Your cost to Viator is a one way trip. Although the return is inexpensive, this should have been made known and clear, Also the wording is deceptive... as it states transportation from the ship. Tours typically return to where they picked you up, therefore there is an assumption of return. The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable.
Christina was an excellent guide, met us at the cruise terminal gate, the tour left exactly on time and was very well organised. Christina was very knowledgeable about Mykonos, Greece and the surrounding islands and we learnt such a lot on this tour. We saw some good sights and had some great photo opportunities and it was great to get about one hours walking tour at the finish of the tour and to learn about the history of the town. We would definately recommend the tour. One bit of advice would be to take a jacket as it can be extremely windy at someof the stops.
Beautiful island. Christine was an excellent guide. Would definitely recommend. Eat at the port💕. Can’t wait to come back!
Our guide Georgia was very informative and helpful. Very comprehensive tour very professional as well as fun too.
From the moment we were met at the port to the time we were left to get the sea bus back to the ship we were looked after exceptionally well. Andrea and George were brilliant. They took us to the best spots for photos and told us everything about the island. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this excursion and have no fears that they will get you back to your ship before it leaves
Our tour of Mykonos and the lighthouse with Andrea was an exceptional experience. Andrea has been a resident of Mykonos for 36 years and holds dual citizenship in the UK and Greece. Her deep knowledge and familiarity with the island, its people, history, and culture were evident throughout the entire tour. What made the experience especially enjoyable was Andrea’s warm, kind, and respectful style. She brought the history of Mykonos to life by sharing personal experiences and stories alongside the historical information, giving us a much deeper understanding of the island and its culture. Andrea was a joy to spend time with, and we truly enjoyed learning about Mykonos through her eyes. Her passion for the island and her knowledge made this a memorable experience that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Mykonos.
We had a great tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide! It was just long enough and had free time at the end.
We spent a wonderful day with our tour guide Andrea. She was very friendly and so knowledgeable about the island. During the walking tour m, she was excellent in keeping our group together on VERY busy streets and alleyways. If you are lucky enough to have Andrea as your tour guide, you will have an exceptional day.
Very knowledgeable and fun tour guide! We loved this tour! We stopped at all the major sights and got to see a lot in one day.
Very informative and excellent spacing of time for viewing and shopping. Guide was well versed in the area and the history and able to provide valuable insight.
We booked the Shore Excursions Group: Mykonos Old and New to see the island on our Mediterranean cruise. Quick, comfortable bus transport for a medium group (about 24). Excellent driver George. NY transplant Christina led the tour for a local company called I Travel Mykonos. Clear crisp English (with a hint of NY remaining). Perfect introduction to the island. Saw all the "must-sees": lighthouse (windy w/great pics and info), windmills, little Venice, the winding port streets, a gorgeous beach, and a little "local" bakery that is clearly for the tourists. Highly recommend for your first trip. Next time we will wander the port and spend more time at one of the stunning beaches!
Our guide Andrea was fabulous! We learned a lot about life in Mykonos and saw a lot what the island has to offer. Perfect way to get an overview within half a day.
Great tour the guide was amazing (sorry I can’t remember her name) very informative. Tour was perfect length of time and she gave us time to do things at every stop. Highly recommended this tour
Excellent tour on such a beautiful island. Christina was so knowledgeable and informative that we left with a very good understanding of the island's people & way of life. Such a charming tour guide.
Andrea our tour director was super friendly and knowledgeable! She showed us out of the way places and gave us time to look around and take it all in! George the bus driver was fantastic! He had mad driving skills!
Andres was wonderful. He ensured we had a wonderful+ unique experience while in Mykonos. We enjoyed every stop.. the lighthouse was special. I highky re commend this tour and Andres.
Christina was a wonderful tour guide. She was knowledgeable and gave the group the history of the islands. It was a 4 hour tour but time flew by.
Both Andrea our tour guide and Tolis our driver were brilliant. Andrea was so knowledgeable and made the island’s story come alive. And Tolis was a master at the narrow roads - how skillful.
