Mykonos Cruise Ship Stop: Tour With A Local Guide - Port Pick Up

My husband and I have anticipated our trip to Mykonos all year. We were excited to learn the history, understand the culture, and motivations for its distinct architecture. Our tour guide Andrea, explained everything we wanted to understand and more. She provided extensive explanations of what we were seeing and highlighted the historical and cultural importance of pertinent sites throughout our tour. Her vast knowledge of the island, engaging personality, and extensive touring experience on Mykonos, enabled her to anticipate potential questions and provide personal insight, which we’ve rarely experienced on other Viator tours. We highly recommend thus tour and if you're lucky, Andrea as your tour guide!

Andrea was an amazing tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible. Costa was an amazing driver and negotiated the narrow streets like an expert. Mykonos was a beautiful place with a very interesting history that we were able to learn on this tour. We stayed in the old town after the tour to have food and drinks at one of the restaurants that Andrea suggested. The food was exceptional! This tour didn’t lead us astray and left us with a great Mykonos experience.

Tour guide explained everything well. The last hour of the tour was walking through the old port and we opted out since it was all walking, and my husband and I couldn't keep up with the rest of the group. My daughter, her husband and the 4yr old enjoyed it though.

This particular excursion did not include any lengthy time for dining or shopping, so eat before you go! The bus was comfortable and the guide was knowledgeable. If you’re cruising on the RC Odyssey know that you will have to take the sea bus back to the port to get back on the ship. We would have enjoyed it more if we’d had more time in the last village for shopping and eating.

We were able to see a lot more of Mykonos with this tour than if we had been on our own or with the cruise ship. Not only was our guide interesting during the travel time, she told us about the culture and history in an interesting and personal way. We were able to see smaller towns as well as the iconic Mykonos. Highly recommend.

This is a great tour for those with limited time in Mykonos as a saw a lot in a fairly short time. Andrea was a fabulous tour guide, giving us plenty of information without overloading us. She was very friendly and approachable.

This tour company is super. They are very responsive and accommodating. Sadly, due to high winds our cruise ship was unable to tender and stop in Mykonos the day we had scheduled our tour. I sent a message to iTravel Mykonos and let them know we were not going to be able to dock. They responded promptly and refunded our money. I will definitely book the tour with them on our next trip! From the moment my wife and I stepped off the ship in Athens, he was right there waiting for us, warm and welcoming from the very first handshake. Throughout the day, his deep knowledge of Athens’ history and culture brought every site to life, and his stories made the ancient city feel personal rather than just a checklist of monuments. High-quality tour from start to finish. The vehicle was modern and very clean, which was great after walking in the sun. Our guide was professional, friendly, and spoke excellent English. They even gave us tips on where to shop for authentic souvenirs instead of the usual tourist items.

We had a great time today on Christina’s tour. She was very knowledgeable about Mykonos. Even though she had a full bus, she kept everything moving smoothly especially during the walking portion.

Our guide, Andrea, was great. She was friendly, personable, and very informative. She was very organized and kept the group together, although it did not appear as though it was a struggle for her. Our bus broke down shortly after starting, and they immediately had a replacement bus. Andrea and the driver never got flustered. We learned all about Mykonos and the island and had a great time in the process. Andrea was also very helpful about taking pictures. At the end of the tour, she recommended a great place to get Gyros.

Christina our tour guide was excellent. In depth knowledge of the island. Native English Speaker. Well planned excursion at a good pace. Got to see a lot. Finished excursion in the middle of the shopping area. Easy return to ship.

Our guide was excellent who had so much information about Mykkonos. Be aware that is very windy on this island. I wish I had my winter coat (it was early May).

Viator: The information stated that Maximum 30 travelers, but we had more 30 in our group the bus of capacity of 50 was full. If we know this is the case we were not signed up. Not trusted worthy.

Dora was a fabulous tour guide and the driver was very skilled. We stopped at several sites and learned the history. At the end of the tour we did a walking tour of the old town and the windmills.

The tour gave us an overview and peeks of the island of Mykonos, but we felt that the guide gave a lot of unnecessary drawn out story-telling about the island. We ended our tour early to be able to have more down time in the old port area of Mykonos.

Mykonos is a very beautiful place to go. My tour guide Maria she talks a lot of history about the place. So we were lack of time to take our pictures . Overall is worth to join the tour.

This tour was very good. They met us at the cruise port. They took us on a nice bus tour around Mykonos. Dora the tour guide was very knowledgeable about Mykonos. Not too rushed. Not to much walking. We took the Sea Bus back to the cruise port. It believe it was only 2.50 Euros each. It dropped us off right at the ship! Got back to the ship in plenty of time!

An excellent intro to the island! The guide shared her extensive knowledge of the island in a friendly and interesting manner. We went many places on the island before ending up in town for the walking tour. The guide brought us through the labyrinth of winding streets while pointing out sights as well as recommendations for eating and shopping. She helped us with pictures by pointing out the best angles to take and by taking pics of us as a couple. This tour truly included the places worth seeing. The only thing that would have helped was a voice box while on the walking tour. Although our guide had a clear, loud voice, we lost some of what she said while walking the narrow streets.

Christina communicated well. She talked about past and present life on Mykonos. She safely negotiated thru the small streets of the old harbor while constantly showing the sites. Enjoyable!!!!!! Highly recommended!!!!

Andrea was fabulous, she is enthusiastic, engaging, and knows the history of the city of Mykonos well. We were four in our group. We enjoyed the description of the history of the islands around Mykonos, the history of Delos and how people live in the different islands. The tour of the city was fantastic.

Fast paced! Christina and Michael were amazing!! We learned a lot about the history and were given local food recommendations. It was great to see a lot in a short amount of time. We started at 10 and ended around 2.

This place is beautiful and unic, to enjoy each corner siting down to see all around you but almost impossible with to many people visiting at the same time as you. Amazing scenery wherever you see.
