Snorkelling Trip At Dimaniyat Islands

Amazing crew on board! This was my second time going on a trip with them, but this time, I got to share the experience with my husband and our 15-month-old baby. We had such a wonderful time! The ride was safe and smooth, the island views were beautiful, and we absolutely enjoyed swimming. Captain Mel and the crew, Romeo and Liberty, were exceptional! They were very accommodating and guided us throughout the trip. They even joined us in the water, helped us spot turtles and sharks, and captured lovely videos of the experience. There's also a kayak available for use, which was another fun addition! A special mention to Sheima at the front desk, who assisted us with our booking. She was equally accommodating and helpful. Thank you to the whole team for making this such a fun, safe, and memorable experience for our little family. Highly recommended! ❤️

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Blue Whale Company on our Daymaniyat Islands snorkelling trip! From start to finish, everything was excellent. The boat was great, the equipment was well-maintained and of good quality, and we felt safe and well looked after throughout the entire trip. This is an incredible trip! Guides Lee and Mel were brilliant. We saw stingray, Shark and of course, turtles 🐢, an absolute highlight of our trip! Our boys 9yr and 11yrs loved it and lunch was really nice, highly recommend 👌.

I booked a private snorkeling trip with Blue Whale Oman for my wife, our two daughters, and our son, and they came back telling me it was one of the best experiences they had ever had. They had the incredible opportunity to swim with whale sharks and later with turtles around the beautiful Dimaniyat Islands. They were so excited about the experience that they begged me to book the same trip for them again the very next day — which I happily did! They also had wonderful things to say about the crew and especially their lady guide. Everyone was friendly, professional, helpful, and made them feel comfortable throughout the experience. For my family to want to repeat the exact same trip the following day says everything. A truly unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of their time in Oman. Highly recommended!

In February, my father, brother, and I visited the Ad Dimaniyat islands with tour operator Blue Whale. Everything was very well organized; there was a diverse selection of food and drinks, and the snorkeling was amazing. We were also allowed to explore the islands, and while my father was sunbathing on the beach, my brother and I could canoe around the islands. Blue Whale hadn't forgotten my brother's birthday either and had even provided a personalized birthday cake. I was so fascinated by the islands afterwards that I decided to conduct research for a project at my university, and Blue Whale helped me and my group members a great deal with this. Amazing trip, 10/10. The captain and Lee the tour guide and instructor were both super helpful, took some incredible pictures and all in all was an amazing day out. Met with the owner of blue whale, very humble and friendly individual who kindly dropped me off to my hotel aswell. I have not gone with other tour operators so can't compare, but I can assure you blue whale are an amazing tour provider to go with and you will not be disappointed!

Today we visited the Dimaniyat Islands with Blue Whale Oman, and the experience was truly outstanding. It was our first trip there, and we were so happy we chose the right boat and team. It was a private women’s trip, and the crew was incredibly supportive and professional. The instructor was excellent, and everything was organized even better than we expected. From the equipment to the food—and even the refreshing cold watermelon after swimming—every detail was thoughtfully prepared. We truly appreciated the honesty and high level of service. The snorkelling trip was amazing, the crew is very nice and helpful, we had delicious snacks and cold drinks available throughout. They don't have such a high rating for no reason!

Our hotel had booked with this company. We were politely met and greeted at the dock. We had no snorkeling experience; we were over 70, but I was given excellent guidance in the sea (my husband stayed on board). The guide also filmed some underwater videos of a pod of turtles for me. Perfectly done. On board, we were also excellently looked after, with drinks and plenty of delicious snacks. Partly because it was a small group, we had good communication with the guide/captain. Upon our return, we were met again and directed to the taxi driver. It was one of the highlights of our tour of Oman for us.

We really enjoyednour trip. The captain and crew are very organized. They handed over our safety vest before the trip and provide us snorkeling gear when we reached the island. They also provided us delicius food and drinks and made sure we are all having fun. They keep checking all the guest time to time that make us very safe and comfortable. The island morning tour to the Damaniyat Island with Blue Whale was really amazing! From the beginning, staff contacted me a day before to confirm all the meeting details, instructions were clear. When meeting the staff, they were all very friendly and helpful in all ways they could. I saw many different fish, large and small, and mostly importantly many turtles!! And we were so lucky to see some sharks too at the second snorkel point!! The water was so clear and I was relaxed during snorkelling:) Blue Whale provided all the equipments needed, fins, masks, life jackets…and also sandwiches/snacks/fruits for quick bites! Highly recommending this company to all if you like to go for the island tour😊

I went there on my own to be one with nature because I saw their ads and I thought maybe I should try it and base on the reviews as well. It was the best decision I ever made. The snorkelling was the BEST!!! I am not a confident swimmer but the capt guided me into the sea and one of his crew is also nice. They were all accommodating and funny. They kept us entertained and showed us the reefs, turtles, stingrays, octopuses and I got to see blacktip sharks but they were non aggressive and they also make sure that we are in a safe distance from them and also the same time we will not disturb the sea animals. They provided us snacks and drinks which are all good they have fresh fruits as well. The boat has a toilet which is plus points. The travel from the marina to the island was smooth as well no problem the capt and crew knew exactly what they were doing. Even if it was a half day trip it was worth it. Apparently they also offer camping, next time I'll get my friends to try it. The fee for the trip is also worth it because you get the best quality. The vibes was so relaxing especially when you reach the blacktip island. The boat is big enough to cover all the guest that day, it didn't feel like we were overcrowded. Just the quality of service through booking and to the excursion is KUDOS!!!! I RECOMMEND THEM AS YOUR GO TO ISLAND AND WATER TRIPS 200%

Due to the high ratings of Blue Whale company here in TripAdvisor we were thoroughly disappointed with the trip today. Hazardous speed and driving across high waves for 45 minutes left us soaking wet and cold when we reached the island. There was no focus on safety we did not feel safe with the speed and high waves. On the return trip we asked for life jackets. We were surprised to read that people had brought children on this boat. That cannot be advised. Probably due to the weather there was only one stop (not two as advertised), so we ended up with less than expected. Bad weather is of course out of the control of the company but they should warn people about the hazards and uncomfortable conditions that this leads to for their guests. We did not receive any notice or warnings that the weather was bad, the sun was shining and we did not get any such indications before going into the boat. When we tried to bring up the lack of information or warnings we were dismissed by the impolite owner Bader. The rudeness and arrogance of the manager destroyed our trip. The other crew member Romeo did his best to be helpful and friendly and we thank him for that.

Blue whale Oman is not just a business, it's more than that. They have accompanied us since the first time we reached out to them, they were available to answer all our questions at any time. The trip to Daymaniat Islands was incredible and just a stunning experiment even though we were with kids. Clean boat, experienced and nice staff and most importantly surprising experiences and things to leave. A lovely experience we will not forget. Don't forget to try the Kayak. Awesome experience with "Blue Whale" team. We a group of 4 had gone for snorkeling near Daymaniyat islands in Muscat with 'Blue Whale' team and it was great. All the crew members very professional and polite. The journey to the island itself was wonderful and the crew really know the sea, they took us to spots where we could see different type of marine life including sea turtles. The snacks and food they served during the trip was also very good. if you are thinking to go for Snorkeling or sea Tour near Muscat, don't think twice connect with Blue Whale!

We booked this trip late the night before with April. She was amazing. She sent all the relevant info and also showed us the boat we would be on. She also ensured all our dietary needs would be met for the snack which it was. The crew on the boat were really friendly, helpful and made you feel part of the group. They provided lifejackets and noodles (as I cannot swim) and I never felt unsafe. They are with you throughout and even take and share videos with the turtles. Lee, Romeo and Mel were amazing and the knowledge shared was awesome. We saw lots of turtles and colorful fish. When we stopped at the island they were with us throughout ensuring we all had a chance to spend at the beach, kayak and take a short walk/hike. They made sure we had drinks at the island so we did not have to run back to the boat every-time and even collected our used items to keep the beach clean. The teams energy was awesome and made our trip more memorable.

Beautiful trip to Daminyeat islands with Khatab and Romeo from Blue Whale. Arranged late the night before - April was ready and reissue with all the relevant information - we were able to snorkel with turtles and kayak - we were well taken care of and the crew were lovely. Would highly recommend
