The tour starts in the morning we'll leave Muscat towards Wadi Shab This Wadi is an enormous canyon gorge that is lined with palm trees and impressive indications of what the power of the water coming down from the mountains can do in nature, With 35 to 40-minute walk and hike up through the canyon Wadi (walking shoes or trainer are required), we arrive at one of crystal clear water pools. Tourists can swim through the warm waters from pool to pool. Eventually, we come to the last pool where an opening among the enormous rocks allows us to swim into an incredible crevice cave with a small waterfall. Inside, the sunlight filters in from the outside, turning the water into a beautiful turquoise blue whilst water showers down one side of the cave from the Wadi beyond.
Fins beach opens up a panorama of strikingly white sands and intriguingly pebbly beach, with sparkling turquoise waters and soft cool breeze.
From Fins Beach on the way back to Muscat we make a stop at Bimmah sinkhole (swimming in the sinkhole lake is possible) Bimmah Sinkhole a water-filled depression, structurally a sinkhole, in the limestone of eastern Muscat Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman, a lake of turquoise waters, it is 50 m by 70 m wide and approximately 20 m deep, it is only about 600 m away from the sea, between the coastal towns of Dibab and Bimmah village, the sinkhole was formed by a collapse of the surface layer due to the dissolution of the underlying limestone. To preserve the sinkhole, the local municipality developed a park there. From Sinkhole we drive back to Muscat
A great day out. Ali was a brilliant guide and looked after us from start to finish, as well as being highly professional and knowledgeable. He was so patient with our 5 year old too and nothing was too much trouble for him. The tour was fantastic and the wadi is a spectacular place to visit and an overall great experience. Would recommend!
Bimah Sinkhole also called as the "Bimah Hawiyat Najm," was formed over thousands of years due to the collapse of a cave system, likely caused by erosion and natural processes like rainwater seepage. While its exact age is uncertain, such sinkholes are common in limestone-rich areas like Oman. The place is near the sea shore and is several feet down. A complete walk way. Can swim if one feels like A relaxing visit to Fins Beach, known for its white sand and clear blue waters a perfect spot to unwind
We had an amazing day with Fauzi in Oman. The wadis were incredibly beautiful, and it was so much fun hiking and swimming. He took great care of us and made sure we were always safe. The lunch we had of fresh fish from the market was also very delicious. Oman is a wonderful country, and this tour is the perfect way to see some of its amazing sites. We highly recommend it.
Wadi Shab and the Bimmah Sinkhole are true nature wonders and a must when in Oman. But in addition to these two stops our guide also made serval stops to places only a local would know - hidden beaches and caves. To top this experience, we had an actual feast for a lunch of Omani foods in the lovely town of Tiwi. The tour was equally appreciated by both my older parents and my more adventurous self. :)
A visit to Wadi Shab is a must-do while in Oman. It's one of the most lovely things we've ever seen! We had a fantastic day in paradise. Walking and climbing for 45 minutes may seem difficult, but our tour guide Salim made it look easy. We had a wonderful day with Salim our tour guide who took our family of four to Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide, and we are grateful for his excellent service and willingness to share his knowledge and experience with us. We ate at a local restaurant for lunch. He picked us up from our hotel on time in a very comfortable car and made our journey enjoyable, especially since we were travelling with children. I'll be writing a full review on my website soon. The trip was truly enjoyable. Our guide Khalid is kind and knowledgeable, punctual and responsible, and he helped carry my heavy rucksack all the way through... While we were enjoying our time, he also swam up the valley to collect rubbish left by tourists.. he tried his best to accommodate all our requests. I would highly recommend him and the tour
We spent a great day with Abdullah, who took us (family of four) to Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole in December, 2019. He is a very friendly, experience guide and we are very grateful for his excellent service and for sharing his knowledge and experience with us. We had lunch in a local restaurant which was also delicious. He also took us on a short trip to the main spots in Muscat before taking us to the port to go back to our cruise. Thank you Khliad for such a wonderful day. Our guide picked us up on time. We travelled in a very comfortable 4x4. Khliad proudly told lots about his country, shared some of his homemade Arabic coffee and dates with us and brought us to this amazing Wadi, I have to say it’s one of my best experiences, swimming between the mountains and into a cave with a waterfall in crystal clear water is hard to beat. We stopped in a small village for lunch which was excellent and only £10 for two and then onto Bimmah sinkhole for another swim. This is such a beautiful country with great people. Go with this company they were great.
Another fantastic tour with Abdullah to Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole. Abdullah collected us from our hotel and drove directly to Wadi Shab, was very knowledgable and extremely safe in the water. We had a fantastic lunch with Abdullah which we’d highly recommend and then onto the Sinkhole, en route we stopped at a fantastic beach and saw turtles and gazelles. One of the best tours we’ve been on and a great guide. Would highly recommend!

As a family of four we booked this day trip on our Oman vacation. Two days before we already made a day trip to Nizwa & Jabal Shams with the same tour operator. The day trip to Wadi Shab was a fantastic experience. First you walk and then you swim through a Wadi in a fascinating scenery. As two days before, our guide was very enthusiastic, explaining facts and figures and he even climbed with us the waterfall in the last cave. The whole family enjoyed his cordial company.

This was my first time in Oman, and I had my wife and two friends with us. This trip was a great introduction to Oman, combining scenic drives with action packed hiking and swimming. I visited Oman over the EID holidays & wanted to explore outside of my resort. I booked a private day tour with Discover Oman Tour & from 1st point of contact to bidding farewell until the next time the service was excellent! Abdullah was super friendly, professional & highly efficient. Good value for money. Picking me up on time from my hotel & driving us to Wadi Shab in a comfortable 4X4. Abdullah’s driving was safe & controlled. As a single female traveller I felt as ease, relaxed and safe with him. Abdullah answered my endless stream of questions about everything & was very knowledgeable. Wadi shab trek was amazing! It was a crazy hot day & Abdullah ensured I was able to go at my own pace through the wadi ensuring my safety at all times, allowing me to stop & catch my breathe, knock back a bottle of water & continue. Abdullah carried all the water supplies & my bag most of the way! A true gentleman. Once we reached the pools at the end after a 45min hike I jumped straight into the cool water to chill. Abdullah explained carefully how to make my way through the pools to reach to end pool & waterfall. I took great caution in the water & had a super fun time! Capturing some awesome photos & videos (A Go Pro camera is a must) The Rocks were slippy in places & I gained a few bangs & bruises but it was all part of the experience. I was given plenty of time to enjoy swimming & exploring the pools. The walk out was much easier & most enjoyable. Please ensure sensible, strong, sturdy footwear, light clothing, hat & sunscreen if venturing on this trek in high summer. A truly wonderful experience! After we visit a small local restaurant for lunch & more water. More enjoyable conversation with Abdullah was had as he filled me on the area & it’s history. Then we headed off to Fins beach & the blowholes in the rocks. Again truly stunning scenery & beautiful beach. Abdullah was happy to take picture after picture of me at my request turning into my personal paparazzi! Last stop was the sinkhole which had been on my bucket list for a long time! Again it was awesome a short walk from the car park & you have arrived. The tales of how the sinkhole came about are varied & interesting. Quick walk down the steps & your straight into the cool water to enjoy a swim & let the little harmless fishes nibble at your toes (free fish spa) I was given plenty of time to enjoy the water & hang with the locals & visitors all enjoying the cool water on this super hot day. After the sinkhole we headed back towards muscat & Abdullah took us off road through the mountains & the scenery was breathtaking. In summary a truly awesome day, well planned & highly enjoyable. Highly recommended! So much so I booked another adventure tour with Abdullah for the very next day!
this time was my second time to visit wadi-shab in muscat and our private tour guide was extremely helpful. Compared with my previous experience, he absolutely care for us all the time and looks so professional. i can definitely recommend to choose this tour company if someone is looking for the perfect one. because of him, we enjoyed a lot.
