Muscat: 4-hour Private Morning Tour With An Omani Guide

A very good driver. Very kind and Always on time. He accepted every our request.

Met at the airport after a 4hour delay by Yahya, such a nice guy. Gave us his number just in case we needed him during the week. Contacted him with a view to seeing the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. He arranged his colleague (much more handsome ( inside joke) Mahmoud, to take us and he was the most informative and helpful guy you could wish to meet. Expecting to be dropped off and collected later he stayed with us, sorted out hire of clothing, walked us through, took photos and generally made our morning very pleasurable. Would not hesitate to recommend these guys and will definitely use them again on our next visit.

We had a very good taxi tour today and I would recommend to others. The places to visit are spread out across Muscat so a car is essential. The benefit of this type of tour is that you can spend as long or as little at each place to suit you. The Grand Mosque was particularly impressive. Our driver gave us information about each visit and added in more places to see as there were some closures due to Eid.

Our guide was punctual and friendly, and gave us some general information about Oman and the places we visited. The car was clean and comfortable with AC. Overall, we would recommend the tour.

Car was send without guide. When contacted local office he said guide was ill. We should have been informed earlier so that we can book another tour. We went around but was not able to know history of any place. You should take our money back from local agent and refund it to us. Will be waiting for your response.

We went on a 8-9 private tour to Wahiba Sands and Wadi ibn Khalid. We also get a taxi drive to and from the airport. Everything was excellent. Very professional, respectful driver/tourguide. They helped us a lot to get to know Muscat from a local view. We highly recommand this company. Verry reliable and if you travel alone or only women this is very safe and trustworthy. Oman is beautiful, like a fairytale. The people are very polite and kind. We enjoyed everything.

Although I had perfect communication before arrival, I was disappointed to find that this firm provided a driver not a guide. I expected to be told about the history and diversity of the city, and the sites that we were visiting. That was not possible, as my driver did not speak, conversant English. This may have been a function of the person who drove me around, but I was disappointed by the service. Zero enthusiasm from this guide.

Beautiful trip to Muscat. Our taxi driver suggested us the best places to visit (the Grand Mosque, the Mutrah Souq and the royal opera house). We reccomend this experience

Our tour guide Yahya actually came inside the airport to escorted us to the car he supplied is with water. We truly enjoyed the Sultan Gaboos Grand Mosque, the city is very beautiful, we enjoyed seeing the architectural structures, the Souq. We definitely would love to return to see more areas in Oman when it is cooler.

Tour guide was a taxi driver who spoke very little English. He did not explain anything about the history of Muscat. He would pass a site point and say this. Tour was to include entry fee into Bait Al Zubair but he had money. Tour was a total waste of good money

We landed in Oman just for a 15h transfer and we decider to book a very short tour of Muscat. We found Yahya a very nice and kind guide. He showed us the most important things of the city. His car was clean and well air-conditioned (it was 44 degrees c), he spoke a good English as well so we could communicate easily. He also bought us some goodbye snacks and gave us free bottled-water. Will definitely do again, he made us feel princesses! :)

Everything was great. We felt very comfortable. Everyone was happy. There was a bit of a story explanation missing, especially for both children.

We had a boat stop in Oman and actually we didn’t have much expectation about the city! I searched on TripAdvisor and found Yahya's contact and contacted him to pick us up in Porto two days later!
