Finally, a peaceful couple of hours in Muscat: beautiful views of the coast and the mountains behind, a calm sea and a setting sun: bliss!

I would recommend ensuring that your tour is on a traditional dhow boat rather then one of the more modern boats. It's much more of a relaxing environment with room to move around. The captain and crew were lovely with tea and snacks served throughout. There's not much going on at the marina where the start and endpoint is so don't think to arrive an hour beforehand and explore

The crew was awesome! They were very friendly and knowledgeable. The gave out many snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic, of course). The crew positioned us perfectly for a beautiful sunset and pointed out many sites along the cruise. We would definitely recommend it.

The tour was in a traditional dhow boat with nice knowledge shared by the host and captain. Refreshments on board included water, soft drinks, dates and coffee. Overall a nice experience and a different view point to seeing Muscat land marks and get a little history lesson as well. Note that this gives you a view of the monuments from the sea, no entries are part of the tour.

What a beautiful relaxing evening this was, Muscat is a stunning coastline of cultural and natural feasts, when the sun goes down, the city lights up and so do the Omani Pirate boats we sailed on.

A very nice tour along the corniche of Muscat. Captain Bilal knows the best places to stop for sunset. You can disengage from everyday life and unwind.

Cruising along the coast with only seven guests - great. Nice views of Muscat's coastline including forts and palaces. Racing after and seeing dolphins play - marvellous. Very well spent to hours.

We went on tour for a full day on a private beach with water sports activities (sofa boat, banana boat, kayak, and parasailing) and we saw the sunset on our end. It was an amazing tour with a professional company, thank you so much for an amazing moment and we will coming back again. Highly recommend 👏👏

Is a very normal trip...they are going to show just a small part of the city. Just few explanations from the capitan I don t recommend it actually.

Not so good experience with family, had aged people in the group and captain Bilal was not bothered, he was doing some driving the boat fast and doing some acrobatics which scared the aged people on the boat. Boat was also over crowded with no proper protection or safety. Tour is not ideal for aged and people who have hypertensive or heart issues, people should be warned before accepting this booking. Never in the details it is mentioned that it is not suitable for elderly people or people with hypertension and heart issues.

We got on the dhow style boat and were lucky as it was only about 25% capacity so we could swap sides as the views changed. The water was so smooth it was amazing (and lucky as I get sea sick on a pedalo!) and the captain expertly drove us between viewpoints and then cut the engine so we could take in the view and get our photos without pressure. We had dates, water and soft drinks on board which was very pleasant as we cruised past various forts, watchtowers and palaces before turning back at the main port and cruise terminal. The sun by now was a dim yellow glow just above the ridgeline and after it disappeared we headed back to the Al Rowdha Marina. The narrative doesn't really explain how pleasant and relaxing this trip was, the early evening being warm rather than oppressive combined with the fantastic views and calm seas made it a memorable experience. The crew were all extremely polite and decent and the boat clean and comfortable, with either a cushioned floor area or seats to sit on.

Viewed the dramatic and picturesque coastline of Oman from the Sea of Oman on this spectacular Sunset Cruise. It was certainly a memorable experience- despite the rough and choppy seas that we encountered on our return trip .

Watch the front place in the boat, its a free shower space.... I was not so much mezmarized by visiting hotel from the sea, i would have prefered to visit more auththentic place...

Very nice office staff and communication. The boat ride is good for families with little kids I think. I was not fun for adult travelers and not a romantic or peaceful experience. It's for kids to run around and have fun...which is fine...just not what I was expecting.

My husband and I enjoyed this cruise tremendously! We were in Muscat in September and it was very warm. However, we wanted to experience a cruise, despite the fact that we would probably be sweating during the whole trip! Yes, you are hot while you are waiting on the wharf and, just a tip, be sure and bring a printed (or on your phone) copy of your confirmation with the Qcode. There were many boats going out with tours and if you don't have your exact ticket, you won't get on the right cruise. How thrilling to be going out on an actual dhow! We were visiting Oman primarily to see dhows (Sur) and experience a short cruise on one. I couldn't believe we could board a dhow!! There were about 20 plus people scheduled for our tour, and yet, the boat never felt crowded. At first, I sat at the front of the boat on the bench, not wanting to move so that I would have a great view throughout the trip. However, it was totally unnecessary. Whether you stay on the main level or go upstairs, side, middle of the boat, it doesn't matter. Every place you are standing, sitting, will have a great view for photos and sightseeing. Everyone moves about throughout the cruise. You might be warm leaving the wharf (in September and summer months), but as soon as you get out on the water, a nice wind picks up and cools you off. So peaceful and relaxing! In the beginning, most people were chatting among themselves and the buzz about the boat was high with excitement. Then, gradually, the Sea worked its magic and people began to relax, quiet and just enjoy the beauty and the stillness of Oman. Everyone just went into a calm mode and listened to the quiet of the boat motor and the water lapping at the dhow. All your cares seem a mile away. Either side is fine for photos. You will see things from both sides of the boat and you can easily get up and move to the other side when you're on the "wrong" side for the next photo. You can also climb into the front bow of the deck for lots of fun photos. The captain knows exactly when to stop the boat for the best sunset views. Suddenly, the boat turns and there is a brilliant sunset! We were lucky and as we were leaving the area, the boat suddenly slowed, turned, and there was another completely different sunset view. Sadly, a fairly quick return to the dock and reality. Once you are back, it is dark and the lights illuminate the dhow for even more spectacular photos when you disembark. All in all, an excellent evening, fabulous tour company and wonderful experience! Had we been in Muscat longer, we certainly would have signed up for at least one more tour with QTours. Highly, highly recommend!

Captain Bilal gave us a thorough tour of the Muttrah coastline and we caught a delightful sunset over the old port. My group all said how much they enjoyed themselves to get some sea air after a hot day on-shore. We did have to cancel for four of my guests and the refund was paid promptly on the same day.

Bilal was courteous enough to give a tour of all the significant landmarks on the shore with a bit of supporting details around each. Would definitely recommend this trip!

Fantastic trip with lots of the coast explored including the old part of Muscat and Muttrah. Our captain, Bilal, was brilliant.

We were lucky enough to have the sun set spectacularly for us. Watching the limestone change from rich orange to dark velvet blue was very special. We were on a very comfortable boat - just four people. Bilal, our guide, was excellent. He captained the boat safely and stopped frequently for photos and information. He was a really welcoming and nice man. I really perfect intro to the coastline on our first day here

Nice views, quite long event, even the boat is quite fast and is an experience itself. You’ll see a lot of views of the coast. Although some more information about the coast would be nice.

We saw many sites- the palace, Portuguese forts, a graveyard, hotels and resorts, the landscape and the sunset. We also watched dolphins for a while

The tour is excellent! There were never ending refreshments, water, dates and omaní coffee. They used the traditional omaní boat that made the experience more interesting. We had the opportunity to admire Muscat and it's castle from the see along with a beautiful sunset. Everyone is kind and helpful

Beautiful tour along the coastline of Muscat during sunset. Our Skipper regularly took time to explain the landmarks to us. Soft drinks, water and light snacks were served and the tour was overall well managed.

Well, we didn't get to go because they canceled the tour. That's fine. But when I requested a refund, they came up with lies and then stopped answering me at all. Luckily my bank has fraud protection, because that's what this was, fraud.

So chill , relax with wonderful view and service Our server is very attentive and shows us the scenery and architectures along the way .

Muscat sunset tour was one of the most beautiful parts of our trip to Oman. Views from the sea were spectacular. Me and my mother enjoyed it a lot!

Nice, calm cruise. You will only hear a few words about what you are seeing, but the cruise was nice nevertheless.

Beautiful scenery, cold soft drinks and water on the boat, comfortable seats. Would have given a 5 stars if there had been some kind of narrative during the visit. Nobody was telling anything about the landmarks. I had to keep looking on my google maps to try to figure out what was what. It would be very easy to install a cheap computer with simple speakers, and have someone click on the correct audio file as we pass on front of an interesting spot.

I & my wife went for coastal sunset tour. It was an amazing experience - the boat was not crowded, the views were amazing and very clean. Also, the staffs are very Co-operative. One of the best tour team in Oman.

We booked for three and had one other family join us. The captain was kind and took time for us to stop along the way and capture memories. We were able to watch the sunset and enjoy a smooth ride along the coastline. Highly recommend.

Everything was just perfect! From the greet at the office till the very last minute of the trip! Beautiful views and our captain was very informative (shame I can’t recall his name). Highly recommend! (Can get a bit chilly so don’t forget your jumper)

It was amazing we had so much fun l the service was spectacular. The staff were very helpful understanding the allowed us to play music on the boat which was really nice. Great fun and highly recommended as part of your stay in muscat!

My son (2.5 years old) and myself really enjoyed the sunset cruise. We were a bit disappointed in the beginning as we were offered a speed boat and not a dhow given the small number of participants, but the experience was great and we do not regret it. I particularly appreciated that the captain switched off the loud music and allowed us to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the sea. He also took us a bit further along the coast and allowed us to experience some of the lesser visited gulfs and sights. We were picked up at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised that the ride to the harbour and back was almost a private tour of old Muscat and the surroundings. All in all a very good experience which we would like to repeat when we are back in Muscat.

Everything was very nice and good. Coastal view., fishing, swimming and sunset. The boat driver was very helpful and thay provided water and softdrink.

The trip was great and nice view, only concern is we missed the sunset 🌅, kindly for any future trip keep at-least between each booking 10-15 minutes. Thanks 🙏🏻🤍
