We had such a great time on this trip! Our guide, Mohammed Al Qassabi, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. He shared a lot of interesting information about the places we visited and made the day both fun and memorable. I would definitely recommend this tour, as it takes you to beautiful places that would be quite difficult to reach on your own, especially because some of the roads and driving can be tricky. Having an experienced local guide made everything much easier and allowed us to fully enjoy the scenery and experience. Highly recommended, and a special thanks to Mohammed for making the trip so enjoyable!

A very enjoyable experience! Visiting the historical Fanja and seeing the view of the valley was amazing. Walking around Nizwa with Ghusun was both educational and relaxing and overall fun.

I had an amazing first day exploring Oman on this tour. Starting with the lively goat and cow market in Nizwa then to the forts, souqs, and cultural experiences, every stop offered a unique and memorable insight into the Omani culture. The mix of history, local traditions, and food made it such a great experience. I highly recommend this tour.

We expected much more for this tour. To begin with, the car that picked us up was dirty. Our guide although kind and polite limited to just drive the vehicle and provide only few basic insights of the sights we visited. The highlight of the tour was Nizwa castle and fort but the remaining places we visited are not really breathtaking nor do they merit the long drive and high cost. Overall, the experience was just OK but I wouldn’t do it again.

We were expecting a lot more from this tour. To begin with, the car that picked us up was dirty. The tour guide limited to drive the vehicle and provide only the basic insights of the places we were visiting, no background or history. He was kind and polite but not really a great tourist guide. The highlight was definitely the castle and fort at Nizwa, the remaining sites in my opinion are not worth the long drive and the high cost of this tour. There was no water at the car which is always challenging with this heat. Overall just an OK day but don’t think it’s worth the price.

Amazing full day. Nearly 200 miles covered. The day went too quick. Very knowledgeable providing information all along the way. Providing background and nice pace. I have some temporary mobility problems, which were fully supported and also ensured I did not miss anything because of these Plenty of photo opportunities. Finished with a coffee and cake. A great day. Friendly, informative, great pace and plenty of stops Will use again next time in Oman.

Ghusun provided a fantastic tour of some of Oman’s treasures. Ghusun was extremely knowledgeable and provided extensive historical and cultural insights.

This tour was GREAT! I was picked up on time at my hotel in Muscat, we visited all the places described on this tour. I enjoyed the beautiful drive and conversations with my small group and our new friend Mohammed! Our tour guide. We listened to Omani music in the car, he told us about the traditions, etc. I experienced the goat market and how families dress up and visit this market, beautiful people indeed! Abdul Aziz was a great guide, friendly knowledgeable and very caring for my elderly father. He adjusted the tour to meet his needs. I booked and paid for an exclusive trip and the tour operators confirmed that it was exclusive... they then tried to stuff me in a vehicle with other passengers which I refused and I asked for another vehicle. They do not answer their phone... and no new car... and I assume no refund will be forthcoming. What a great Eid present... they are liars and dishonest traders. Avoid them ... and book with another company that is more reputable.

It was s magnificent trip by a very knowledgeable and personable guide! It was an all day trip from Muscat that included numerous historically important sites for Oman! My guide explained in detail the significance of these sites and gave a very thorough explanation of all of them! I’d highly recommend this trip and my guide to anyone visiting Oman!

Amazing option for one day, if you don’t wanna get completely tired, but wish to see the country culture as well as country nature. And both are amazing and worth to be discovered. I felt I left seeing Muscat and environs (the nearby towns) as though no stone was left unturned for a first time visit. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Oman! Everything was perfect from pickup to drop off. Mohammed Al Ghatrifi is a wonderful friendly guide who has a passion for his country’s history - he was extremely knowledgeable and shared amazing information about each place we visited. He gave me an overview of what to expect and also offered the option of replacing one of the stops to suite my preference (he suggested Manah to attend Museum across ages instead of Samail which was wonderful) . Experiencing Oman with this tour felt a lot more authentic and natural than other tours I have attended which felt rigid/ detached. My husband and I were looking for a convenient and engaging way to get to know Oman as we had limited time in Muscat. The tour was perfect - our guide Qaseem was amazing! He gave us so much insight into the Omani way of life, its rich history and so many interesting facts that we would have never been able to appreciate any other way. He picked us up perfectly on time and communication with the company was great. Qaseem was super entertaining and answered all our incessant questions! We saw the most beautiful sights and he took us to some hidden viewing spots that only a local would know. We absolutely loved our day out with him - he even sang to us live after showing us the music he makes outside of this work. It was so good! We always look to delve into the culture wherever we visit, and this tour was absolutely brilliant in getting us to understand Oman really well. The place is beautifully and the people are so lovely. We'd both recommend booking this to anyone! For general tips to travellers - - Wear comfortable walking sandals. You'll be in your feet a lot and there was a bit of climbing / trekking (you obviously don't have to do this but if you want the views, it's a must!) At the fort, there are a lot of stairs so just keep that in mind too. To be honest, everything is so incredible to look at, you really won't care about it! - We were provided with some fruit and water to eat. The fruit was so good! Take a long some snacks yourself though for a bit extra sustenance. - The souk at the fort closes at 1 and reopens at 4. If you want to buy things from it, maybe have a look through before exploring the fort because the time really whizzes past! We actually wanted to try the halwa but got to the shop too late because we were so enthralled by the fort and gardens!

It was an unforgettable experience very personalized by the guide! The places we visit were very authentic what gave us a very good understanding of Omani culture. The guide was very kindhearted and ensured we had the best experience ever, thank you for it!
