Daymaniyat Islands - Turtle Snorkel & Kayak Adventure

A morning experience, everything was well organised and we felt personally cared for: very easy to get to the marina - destination shared in advance; sign in was easy. Our captain was introduced to us and he explained safety and comfort details then we set off...on arrival the captain was our snorkel guide, so knowledgeable (pointed out an octopus!) and helpful. Again, a sense that he cared about our experience personally. I can recommend this company without hesitation.

Great experience! Swimming with the turtles was an amazing experience. We say a sting ray as well which one of the guides spotted. They bring plenty of water and snacks. Easy to find and really friendly and helpful. Just bring a towel and sunscreen!

We had an amazing boat trip! Everything was perfect, and we truly enjoyed every moment. The captain was fantastic — very professional, experienced, friendly, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey. He really made the experience even more special. Highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a wonderful time on the water!

​I recently booked a trip to the Daymaniyat Islands in October, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! ​The team was exceptionally professional, highly punctual, and strictly adhered to safety standards throughout the entire tour. They were genuinely helpful, attentive, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. ​Our itinerary included: ​First Snorkeling Spot: Swimming alongside beautiful sea turtles. ​Second Snorkeling Spot: Immersing ourselves in vibrant schools of small tropical fish. ​Third Spot: Relaxing near a stunning beach area with clear bottom kayaking, which was a unique and delightful highlight! ​The team provided GoPro photography, capturing amazing high-quality underwater memories for us. They also served delicious sandwiches, fresh fruits, and refreshing drinks onboard. ​Note: Due to the turtle nesting season in October, landing directly on the island beaches was restricted, but this was well-managed and didn't take away from the incredible water activities and stunning views. ​I highly recommend this tour company to anyone visiting Oman. It was a nice half day but it did feel a bit like a run of the mill operation. Get to the first stop by the island and snorkel for an hour with turtles. Was hoping to see whale sharks and dolphins on the way as it was early Sept and everything you read says this is the time for them but we did not see anything. Supposedly June/July is a better time. After a couple of small sandwiches, juice, a bag of chips, we were on our way to the 2nd stop where there are lots of coral and some nice fish. We had some watermelon and headed back. Overall I would rate it a 6/10

An absolute must-do in Oman! i booked the Daymaniyat Islands - Turtle Snorkel with Muscat Sea Adventure, and it exceeded all of my expectations. The waters around the islands are crystal clear, and swimming alongside the sea turtles in their natural habitat was an unforgettable experience.we also encountered wale sharks on the way which was very amazing and life changing .The guide was incredibly professional, knowledgeable,friendly and ensured everyone felt safe and had a great time. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Muscat!

Even better than I expected! Our captain is super nice and caring. The snorkeling spots were absolutely breathtaking. At the first stop we spotted A WHOLE TURTLE PACK, and t the second we saw amazing coral reefs. We had sandwiches, watermelon, and a whole cold drink cooler of beverages. Would definitely come again and still choose Sea Adventure.

It was a good experience however there was no glass bottom kayak which was told it was there in the package

If your a foreigner and worried about a language barrier, have no fear. Everyone speaks English really well. From the moment i walked in staff were helpful attentive and friendly. There was a bit of a mix up with my booking but the front desk agent solved everything with ease and in a calm manner. He took the time to get to know everyone and give recommendations about the area. The boat ride was so nice with fresh air and open seas 🌊 The tour guide Captain Zak who took us around the different areas, explained all areas in detail and provided us with interesting information. We all thought he was really funny 😂 He was attentive to the needs of the group and was also open and approachable. I was a beginner snorkler and needed a lot of assistance but Captain Zak was happy to assist and even encouraged me to swim to further areas that had an amazingly large amount of animal and plant life. I was happy that Captain Zak took the time to point out all the plants and animals during snorkeling. I was really scared of the sea snakes, but he made sure to keep far from that area. The animals dont seem to be scared of people and will swim up close to you. For those concerned about environmental sustainability practices and possible harm to the environment, there was an official environmental patrol that asked all boat group captains for permits and also asked questions to the captains to make sure the area is being protected. We also were not allowed to enter the animal habitat on land as it was the incubation period of some animals that lay eggs. We also got a chance to collect trash while we went snorkeling. Overall this trip blew me away. Im glad to have made the decision tobjoin this trip. I will bring a group gor some other tours too InshaAllah 💖

The service was great but they could offer pick up from the hotel especially if they have changed the date of the adventure the night before the excursion day. I can understand that problems can happen but that day we should be traveling home and it would have been nice if they had helped us a little extra, i mean to me and my five year old son. It wouldn't have been a big problem if it was just me who was affected but I was with my five year old son and then they should have been able to show more understanding.

Daymaniyat was incredible, but seeing a whale shark in the wild was definitely the highlight. An amazing experience and a reminder of how impressive nature can be. 🐋🤿

This was an amazing experience. The crew were so friendly, experienced and helpful. They looked after our every need and made sure we had the best possible experience. Their experience meant we saw so much sea life that we would have missed without their guidance - sea turtles, a baby reef shark, an octopus and even a whale shark. I would definitely recommend a trip to the Damaniyat Islands with Muscat Sea Adventure to everyone.

My friend and I went snorkeling nearby the Dimaniyat Islands on February 12, 2026. It was a beautiful view and decent weather. My friend and I had a blast snorkeling. We got to see plenty of sea turtles, octopus, sting rays, sea cucumbers, and fish. The only thing I didn't like is seeing OTHER guides/tourists standing on the corals or harrassing the animals. Luckily I don't think our guides did that, but I think there should be serious consequences for people who harrass the coral or animals. I do think that guides in general can do a better job at speaking out about that when they see it happen. We got to go to the beach after snorkeling, and explore the island, lay on the beach, kayak, or do more snorkeling. I also appreciated that the guides took snorkeling videos of us upon request as well as of the animals. It was overall an enjoyable excursion that I highly recommend with this company.

Amazing excursion. The captain as well as the guide were excellent. I don't know how to swim and was contemplating going in but the guide was able to help me and I'm glad I did it cus I got to see all the sea turtles. Definitely recommend. My friends and I had an incredible experience spending one night on the Daymaniyat Islands with Muscat Sea Adventure. Everything was very well organized, from the pickup at the port of Muscat to the activities on the islands. On the way, we stopped for snorkeling in a stunning spot where we swam with around 20 turtles, truly unforgettable! Once on the island, we were served a generous lunch right on the beach, followed by more snorkeling. We enjoyed a delicious barbecue dinner and slept in tents that the staff had set up for us. The staff were always kind, helpful, and available, giving us great advice on the best snorkeling spots and taking care of every detail. It was an unforgettable adventure, perfectly organized, with a fantastic and friendly staff. I highly recommend this experience!

Captain Naushad and Mamood are excellent , as a team they are very well organised , they did not rush with anything and conducted the entire trip smoothly

I am so glad that I booked this tour. Mahmoud and Nousaad were great captains and very helpful when my friends and I were having a tough time. We were 4 people who didn’t know how to swim at all, and were able to do this activity without any hassle all thanks to the expertise of our captains. I highly recommend doing this activity when in Muscat, especially with Mahmoud and Nousaad as they are always willing to help and make sure that people have a good time. Such an awesome trip. Best value for money. Saw many sealife such as turtles, octopus and many schools of fish. Fruits, and sandwiches onboard with water and juices. Ended our trip of with watermelon. Thank you to Mahmoud and Nosahd

The most memorable part of this experience was seeing the sea turtles and sharks. It was incredibly fun, and the colors of the sea were absolutely beautiful. The admission fee was well worth it due to the wide range of experiences offered. The visit lasted around five hours, but it was completely worth it, and the crowd size was perfect, filled with laughter and excitement without feeling overwhelming. The staff, Mahmoud and Noushad, were both excellent divers. Mahmoud, in particular, stood out, he showed us all the sharks and turtles, took amazing photos, and never rushed us. He went out of his way to make the experience memorable and made sure everyone felt comfortable and well prepared throughout. This experience is highly recommended for families and friends.

I booked a private tour for the family after having a chat with Munir. We had a great time and smooth trip. Our captain was great and took us to a quieter spot as the qaves were a little bit strong where we initially went. Sandwiches, fruits and drinks were provided on the trip along with the equipment for snorkling. We enjoyed our tour and would reccomend Muscat Sea adventure!

Very friendly staff. I had booked the wrong day and they changed my booking to the right day. We had a fabulous snorkeling experience and saw many turtles up close. One time even six together. Beautiful animals. On the boat we received cool drinks, great sandwiches and fruit. The captain was very hospitable. He also made under water movies of us with a GoPro which the company sent me the same day. I recommend this company for snorkeling experience.

Truly an unforgettable experience! We started right on time and were lucky enough to see plenty of dolphins along the way. The snorkeling was fantastic — Munir made sure to choose spots away from the crowds, so we could enjoy the underwater life without disturbing it. Afterwards, we even received amazing GoPro footage of the turtles and little reef sharks we encountered. The included sandwiches and fresh fruit were a lovely touch 🥰 I can’t recommend this experience enough!
