Maani Muscat Hotel & Apartments

I purchased a pool day pass for 7 rials. The pool is a nice size and there are many places just to lounge both covered and uncovered. You can also order food poolside.

The hotel itself is nice, clean, and well-maintained. However, my overall experience was extremely disappointing because of the way bookings and payments were handled. First of all, the hotel is no longer available on Booking.com, so I had to book directly through their website. The website showed inconsistent pricing — one price during the booking process and a completely different price at checkout. I also booked two rooms and a living room, yet my reservation somehow ended up being for only one person. It makes no sense for one person to book two rooms and a living room, which clearly shows there are serious issues with their booking system. In addition, I specifically selected breakfast during the reservation, but upon arrival I was charged extra for it. I was also surprised to discover that the booking was non-refundable, which was not made clear from the beginning. To make matters worse, the call center kept repeatedly pressuring me to pay immediately, even though the website clearly stated that payment would be made upon arrival. I received conflicting messages throughout the process, which created unnecessary stress and confusion. Overall, while the hotel itself is pleasant, the payment process and customer treatment felt very unfair and misleading. There seem to be many hidden charges and additional fees that are not clearly communicated upfront. Unfortunately, this completely ruined the experience for me.

The real four star **** hotel & Suite, good for conference, seminar, family stay, solo trip, neat & clean. Well experienced staffs. Attractive swimming pool with resturant and authentic cusion @ Muscat.

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. I had reserved a table for iftar a day in advance, but when I arrived at the exact time of my reservation, they had already given my table to other guests. When I asked the staff about it, they refused to move those guests to another table or solve the issue quickly. Instead, my family and I were left standing and waiting until they prepared another table for us. By the time we finally sat down, the iftar time had already passed. Overall, it was a very poor and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend this place.
