Shared Departure Transfer: Munich Central Station To Munich Airport

I’d avoid booking through Viator, the ticket details provided were not accepted by the driver who even although he could see the ticket had been bought and paid for made us pay again. I contacted Viator chat support and they would not refund, extremely poor service which seen me doing my best to get this resolved for over an hour only for the agent to hang up.

Reliable, comfortable and cost effective airport transfer to downtown Munich. Encountered no issue from airport to Munich Central Station. However, on the return trip to Munich Airport, the Viator ticket keep showing up as invalid when scanned by the driver. The driver just let us in after multiple tries of invalid ticket results otherwise we would have paid twice. This is the reason I gave the experience a rating of 4 stars.

We boarded the bus and driver could not scan QR code and we were forced to buy another ticket - have messaged to request a refund but no answer - very disappointing !

The trip was fine but I ordered tickets for my daughter and I and when we got on the bus, the driver said that they not good. I had to pay again. Called Vitor nd was told that. They would open a claim even though he could see that I paired double.

This bus ticketing system totally did not work. I bought 2 one way tickets the night before and the QR code was invalid upon arrival. Had to pay twice. Do NOT buy these non refundable tickets through Trip Advisor!

This ticket didn’t work. It showed it was not valid. I had to pay again.. I have the receipt .. this is disappointing

The driver was unable to scan the QR code for each individual ticket. He tried on both my mobile phone and the printed documents I had. We ended up having to pay him again. Thankful we had a credit card on us to use for payment.

Great bus ride from airport to central station in Munich. Very convenient & efficient and always on time. Highly recommended. AAAA++++

My ticket was declined and had to obtain an alternative means. Lost the price of my fare. Said the QR code was invalid. Had to then pay by card. Not pleased!

The scan of the supplied code did not work. The bus driver immediately removed our luggage until I paid him in cash. No choice. I had to make my flight. Ghosts in the machine or did I buy someone lunch? Who knows.

Travel Agent purchased the ticket for me but drivers would not honor it so I had to another ticket. Will be looking for refund of the first ticket that was bought for me.

I got to my destination safely and comfortably. Driver was helpful with people’s luggage and helped me find the right spot for my taxi…

Used this service on the way into town and on the way back. It was convenient to my hotel near the train station and easy to spot at the airport.

Booked a ticket online which was rejected on the day. Ticket not valid so had to buy a paper ticket as well, meaning I've paid twice for one trip.

Nice clean bus with a helpful driver. The journey was very smooth, it departed on time, also arrived on time.

Viator have to be the worse transfer I have ever travelled with the drivers weren’t very helpful. If your ticket didn’t scan on your phone it was your fault couldn’t have been his machine and then we had to pay again

I bought a transfer trip from the airport to Munich and another one for Munich to the airport. I downloaded the vouchers to my apple wallet ahead of the trip. I had no issue with the first coucher (airport to city); but the one on my return trip did not work when scanned by the bus driver and I was forced to pay for another ticket on the bus even though I clearly showed a valid voucher. Other people mentioned similar issues, so I was not really surprised when it happened ... just was hoping it was a fluke. I guess don't bother buying an online ticket from the city to your airport to save a few cents. Just buy at the bus and save yourself the frustration of havong to pay twice. Other than that the transfer works nicely.

The bus driver would not accept our Vivatar tickets. We were on the correct bus which we got on at the correct stop.....Lufthanza marked on bus. We had to buy new tickets on the bus.

The communication was so awful. When we first called to find out when the bus was arriving or when it could be arranged to arrive, the representative told us “this is not a limo service, you have to find the bus stop yourself” which wasn’t even my issue we knew where the stop was located. When I clarified what I needed again, we got zero response. I called the 888 number and they couldn’t hear me. Phone issue or international issue, I don’t know and when we tried to reach out again via chat we never got another response other than the first one. We do not endorse this service provider at all. Save your $25 for something useful and worthwhile.

It took a little while to find the correct place to catch the bus, but not bad and not too far. Nice drive to Munich Central Station. Very clean. Reasonable price.

We had to pay again because it was impossiblo to read the booking qr code so we would like to get the money back

Booked this service online with Tripadvisor, return fare, and the driver of the coach would not accept my ticket. Had to pay AGAIN (full rate) on the coach to go to the centre of Munich. Emailed Tripadvisor on my return for a refund, but no reply to my emails.

This service is on tie & a very efficent & convienent way of getting to & from the aiport into the city area. We were staying within walking distance from the central train station, which made it easy as well.

Easy to use service. The signage for the bus service was easy to find. Bus departed on time. Would use this service again when in town.

This was great, left from the Nordfried U-Bahn stop at 7:18AM and got to Terminal 2 by 7:45AM. For me it was easier that U-Bahn to S-Bahn and I got a seat and did not have to slep my luggage up and down stairs

Bus was easy to find at Central Munich Station and drove to the airport efficiently and safely. Driver was helpful with luggage, knowledgeable, and friendly. Much cheaper than a cab or private car. Thank you!

SBahn is way faster and about the same price. Bus is coach quality and nice, but too slow. weekend traffic around Munich is busy, and weekday peak hour commutes can be really slow. This trip is 35 minutes minimum, can be an hour and more during week.

Excellent way to get to the airport. Please allow extra time for traffic and one stop. You can pay driver 11 euro if getting on at the Central Train station. Air conditioner at summer is a huge plus.

<p>Should you book a room close to one of the shuttle pick up points this is a very inexpensive and convenient way to get to and from the Munich Airport. Our hotel was a block and 1/2 away so, even with luggage, connecting with the shuttle was an easy walk.</p>

<p>Only thing I would change is to have an announcement at the terminal that explains which airlines are located at that terminal stop. We almost missed our terminal because we weren't sure. The bus driver was very nice though.</p>

<p>Shuttle bus goes regularly and is situated just outside of train station was access was easy. The driver was great and no hassles or delays getting there. This was much quicker than the train when I arrived, granted the shuttle was early morning and therefor no peak hour traffic.</p>

<p>Guide positioned herself so that she was in back of 7 guests and corralled us to her favorite spot to eat after a very long spiel about Sound of Musicmy group of 4 was interested in the beauty of Salzburg as a whole, and not an old movie very disappointing tour that could have been enhanced by:<br/> 1 providing paid guests with 3-4 restaurants with menu/prices to select from upon free/eating time <br/> 2 standing in front of all guests when sharing<br/> 3 not focusing only on one element of this viewpoint<br/> Overall, host was more focused on family member accompanying her, vs providing guidance to meet all needs.</p>

<p>The only disappointment was that the driver was only able to get us close to the terminal building we needed and not next to it. As a result, we had to walk at least another 10 - 15 minutes with our luggage in tow. Otherwise, it was a comfortable and convenient trip to the airport with minimal hassle.</p>

<p>Great way to get to the airport if you don't want to deal with trains/taxis. A bus runs every 20 minutes and our driver was efficient, helpful and quick to load and unload everyone's luggage.</p>

<p>The gondola ride was half way across the city and we got lost and were unable to go. We were very disappointed and to travel so far and waste the money. Venice is very hard to get around unless you have a lot of euro's (40 one way) for water taxies. We could not even find the water bus to take to the tour.</p>
