I would highly recommend this tour. What a fantastic day! The weather was perfect, everything was well organised, and we had plenty of time to explore each place we visited without feeling rushed. Felicia was an awesome tour guide — so lovely, friendly and full of knowledge. She shared so many interesting insights and stories about the places we visited, which made the experience even more enjoyable. There were also plenty of snacks provided on the bus, and the seats were comfortable, with Wi\-Fi and charging stations available. Overall, a wonderful experience from start to finish. Highly recommended! ⭐

Excellent tour. The bus was filled with snacks, coffee, water and at the end we were offered a beer. The bus also has a bathroom and wifi. The tour guide Felicia is very good, organized and described where to go and when to meet. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone but there is a lot of walking and steps in the castles.

Really good day with plenty to see but never felt rushed. Our guide Felicia was really pleasant and knowledgeable, was able to stop with everyone and answer any and all questions, would definitely recommend. It was well worth the money and definitely fork out for the castle entrances, worth the extra money to make the experience unique

Dee pack and Tony were amazing. They explained things and made sure we understood directions! It would be helpful to have a written explanation because of language barriers. But it was really a wonderful trip!

Felicia was great and offered great facts during the bus ride through the small towns on the way to the castles. We got the VIP package which included snacks. The snacks were fresh pretzels, chocolate, and some fruit. They also had coffee. It was a 2 hour ride there. There was a bathroom on the bus (think airplane bathroom). We started at Neuchwanstein castle where the castle itself provided a tour guide (about an hour). Then we got back on the bus and stopped off in a small town to shop. Hopped back on and went to Linderhof. Another castle tour guide took us around (about 45 min). Then we got back on the bus and they surprised us with beer. Then we headed back to Munich. I think it was a great tour. The only thing I would change is the amount of time allotted for the entire day. When they said “meet at 4:30” they mean meet at 4:30. Not a second later. A lot of people were running to get back on the bus. If I would change anything it would be a bit extra time to take photos and walk casually rather than rushing. I also wouldn’t suggest this tour if you have walking and climbing difficulty. There were some uphill climbs and lots of stairs at Neuchwanstein. Some of the older people on our tour struggled. ***** bring euros. It costs 3.50 to take the bus up to the castle or 6.50 euros for the horses. Otherwise, you are left walking 40 minutes up a hill. We got lucky and had just enough for a bus. All in all though, great tour! Thanks Vladi and Felicia.

The experience was amazing, everything was planned carefully and in a timely manner. It would’ve been great to have more time around the castles, but it’s a long day already so we understand why it’s limited to just the absolutely necessary tours. Beautiful regardless, would recommend to anyone looking for a seamless experience with Felicia and Marius.

Faizan was such an incredible guide. He is knowledgeable, organized, and runs a tight ship. He did so to ensure that we all had the best experience possible, and that’s not easy with the general public and outliers. I’m a teacher, and it so reminded me of field trips! I highly recommend Faizan, the driver, Sedan (excellent driver), and this entire tour. They pay attention to detail and that is worth every penny!

We had a fantastic time on the castle tour today with our family! The tour bus was fantastic — modern, clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with a great selection of drinks and food. Our driver, Smiley, was incredibly friendly and a wonderful host. He went out of his way to make our kids feel happy and welcome, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable for our family. Our tour guide (Felicia) was also exceptional. She was informative, polite, professional, and clearly one of the best employees you have. Her knowledge of the history of the castles was second to none, and she brought the stories and history to life in a really engaging way. We genuinely have no complaints at all. We absolutely loved the tour and would highly recommend it to our family and friends. Thank you to the whole team for making it such a memorable and enjoyable day!

We loved this tour. Faizan was incredibly knowledgeable. He kept us entertained with lots of fascinating information that made the bus ride fly by. He took excellent care of us at each stop, making sure we had our tickets to the attractions, that we knew how and where to board shuttles, where to have lunch, where the best souvenirs could be found and how to capture the most scenic pictures. He was pleasant and kind. Very good natured. Our driver, Mr. Senad, was also excellent. We felt we were in very good hands with him behind the wheel. The castles and the small town were all well worth seeing and Faizan pointed out a lot of other notable attractions all along the way.

Felicia was amazing! She provided some in depth insight on the tour not only about the destination but the sights in between. From Munich to Neuschwanstein she colored our tour with history and insights. She was also very personable and especially showed patience with me as I spoke with her in German. I might add that the driver Alaa was also very professional.

I had a nice time in the tour, started on time on a Sunday at 9.30 am but there was a massive traffic on the way back due to constructions and we ended up arriving after 8 pm. Our guide mentioned that this is the latest she has arrived. The tours were informative and views are beautiful. A perfect way to spend the Sunday afternoon especially with good weather. It felt slightly rushed for me and if I were to do it again I would have probably skipped lunch or bring a packed lunch so I could spend more time on the bridge and hike up the famous pic spot at less if a rushed pace. The food was just ok at Ludwig where I dined at.

First time using Gray Line Day Trips. We had an excellent time visiting the Linderhof and Newschwanstein castles. The excursion was planned out very well leaving lots us of time to explore. Our guide, Muhammad, was very professional, informative, and approachable. Our driver, whose name I did not catch, was also very skilled at his profession. I would rate them both 10 out of 10. Keep up the great work gentlemen!

Much more convenient than trying to manage multiple public transit transfers with 3 children. It was also a great backdoor way to getting castle tickets that were already sold out online. Our guide and driver were both great and very helpful. Would definitely recommend. The only downside would be the somewhat limited free time compared to leaving much earlier via public transit and managing your own schedule. However if your goal is to see the castles with guaranteed tickets and have a nice lunch, it is perfect. I would still definitely recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic time on the tour! The amount of time was just right: we got to see it all while still having time to take in the beautiful scenery. Our guide, Felicia, was wonderful and made the whole experience feel magical.

Very glad we did this. Guide was helpful and friendly. The palaces are spectacular and the drive from Munich to the Bavarian alps had some beautiful countryside. Be advised that this is a long day and requires a fair amount of uphill walking and stairs. It’s also pricey, and I’m not sure I would quite describe as a “luxury” or “premium” tour as it was described in the promotional material. Although billed as a small group, that’s true for the coach but you are still experiencing both palaces with large numbers of people.

What a great experience from the booking through the entire experience it was excellent. Faizan was amazing all day from explaining details of the castles, history of Germany, and the German culture. He gave us tips on where to take some amazing pictures and when the crowds at Neuschwanstein were getting a little hectic he stepped in to ensure our party and others were taken care of. He is a great guide and person. I highly recommend taking any tour he leads!

The tour was very informative. The castles are beautiful. Be warned there is a lot of walking and stairs to climb. Our guide did a great job of answering all questions and made the trip very enjoyable.
