Munich Walking Tour: Explore Top Sights & Hidden Gems

You see a lot of great sights in the 2 hours so you are walking quickly between stops! This is not a leisurely stroll but well worth it!!! We did it on our first day in the city and it gave us ideas of places we wanted to return to and explore further. Our guide, Lilian was super helpful even taking time after the tour giving us instruction about using the subway to return to our hotel.

We had a great tour. Our tour guide, Lilian was very kind and informative. She gave great detail about places we visited but also recommendations for other places we could go.

Arianna was really awesome. She taught us a lot about the history of Bulgaria and the buildings that we visited. We were able to ask questions and learn learned a lot about the history and found some hidden gems that we would not normally have found if it wasn’t for her thanks for everything.

Lillian was an amazing guide! My family and I learned so much about the history of Munich and some amazing facts we didn’t know before coming on this trip! Thanks again for the great recommendations!!

Incredible tour ! A must to do when in Munich. Our tour guide - Ariana AC - was incredibly awesome / wonderful personality, incredibly knowledge and provided great insight.

Ariana was a wealth of knowledge about the history of old town Munich. She answered questions but also kept us moving at a good clip. She followed up with specific links, etc… to further personalize and experience. So glad we did this tour!

Even though it did not stop raining throughout the whole tour Lilian was great and taught us so much about Munich which you would not learn in a guide book. We found Lilian so friendly and knowledgable and would definitely recommend booking.

Tour guide Lillian was very good. We had trouble finding the guide initially because the Tir company had not provided our names on the list to her. Itwas until I called Viator who contactedl the ocal tour company. They contacted Lillian who came back to get us.

Very informative walking tour of several churches and notable buildings in Munich city center. Ariana, our guide, was lovely and very knowledgeable of the history of the region.

Suyog was a friendly, competent and well informed guide who made everyone feel comfortable and welcome throughout the tour. He also went over time so that we could go inside the Frauenkirche after mass service was over. Definitely recommended.

Suyog has some great knowledge some interesting spots. Asamkirche is a church everyone needs to see at least once. He was very accommodating for other folks in the group as well.

Our guide seemed very nice but was soft spoken and hard to hear. He talked while we walked and we could not hear him.

Came straight from the airport after a seven hour flight from the states and waited at the pick up point for 20 minutes without any sign of the Guide before deciding to leave. Called the number on the booking confirmation which was a US number and no one picked up so we left and refused to give us a refund. Can I comment on the quality of the tour but I feel scammed.

The experience was good. It was just me and my husband that booked that time slot, so it was like a private tour. Unfortunately, Hofbrauhaus was closed downstairs because of an event, and we were supposed to be there for about 20 min. Also, we already watched the Glockenspiel the day before so Suyog added an extra stop at Asamkirche.

It was a good two hour introduction to Munich old town area. Then we could revisit afterwards. Lillian was very sweet and informative

Our tour of Munich was informative, just what we were looking for. Arianna our guide kept our interest and pointed out many historical facts that w/o would have missed. Great tour well worth the time.

We were given the wrong meeting point and missed the tour we were sent to another tour company we went there to try to get a refund they knew nothing of this tour Never again!

I paid for a private tour to be able to have 1-1 conversations and tailor the experience slightly. Our guide was lovely, but she wasn't an expert in the history of Munich or the spots we traveled to. She had her binder of information with a page for each specific site and only knew about those spots on based on what was in her papers. I could have printed the information and picked the spots myself.

Really enjoyed our tour and learned a lot! We only had 6 hours in Munich and the is really helped us see some highlights!

Booked and paid for 8:00 am tour. We were there early. After the guide wasn’t there at 8:15, saw where operator asked to reschedule to 9:00 around 4:30 the day before. Texted operator who then asked that we reschedule to 9:30 and then again to 10:00. It was in the 90’s today so we purposely wanted an early start. After 1.5 hours in the heat we said good-bye to our guide early. Instead of completing our schedule at noon finished at 1400. Really set back our day and wasted two hours of our time. As a concesión we received a ten percent refund. If someone books and pays for an 8:00 tour that is when the tour should start - not 10:00. Would not recommend.

one of the best experiences i have had since coming to Germany and i have been here for a year now. got to know the best and gatekeeped cafes, pubs, and hangout areas. most i got to realize the emphasiz on the Bavaria history and their culture which was very fascinating and impactful thanks to Suyog our tour guidefor the day. To sum it up a 10/10 day for me.

Horrible. Tour guide was not there at the place of our meeting. Our tour never occurred. With frustration we had to cancel this tour .

The tour was supposed to start at 10am, but the tour guide was not there and did not communicate. Eventually without any communication we left by 10:25am.

Our tour was perfect! Adriana was easy to communicate with to meet up and she was on time! We had three kids with us ages 10, 8, and 4 years old. She kept them engaged the entire time! Our guid was very knowledgeable and had great stories! She even gave us recommendations on what to do at the end of our tour! We were able to see so much of the town in such a short period of time! Money well spent!
