Munich To Eagle’s Nest And Salzburg A Private Day Trip

Wonderful experience! Would hire them again. They were very accommodating and went wherever we wanted to go. We even went on a “wild goose chase” to see a friend in the middle of nowhere. Very professionally too.

This tour is really just ground transportation to Eagles Nest. That being said, Petr was an amazing host, and his vehicle was perfect for us. Everything was very easy.

We had an amazing time in Eagle's Nest and Salzburg, exceeding all our expectations! Our guide/driver Peter was fantastic, super friendly and accommodating. He really made our trip special. My husband even managed to do a live BBC radio interview about the recent Nepal flash flood. We highly recommend this company!

Islam was amazing! We had a wonderful time and he was so knowledgeable about the sites we saw and everything in between. He also gave us helpful tips for the rest of our travels through Germany. We couldn’t have picked a better guide!

He as a little late for pickup the road near our hotel was closedown and he didn’t know the other way to come in. Missed the exit to eagles nest and cost us 35 minutes delay. We missed our prepaid bus up to the top and had to beg another tour operator to see if they could get us on another bus. It’s high season and all buses are sold ou so we only got on because someone didn’t show up. He knew our tickets were specific times and we left with time to spare but a missed exit cost us. He said he knew were he was going and we even pointed out what we thought was eagles nest to the righof us and he said that was not it so we keep going. From there we went to Salzburg he got us there no problem but no one advised him that they close the main roads to the old time during the day so no cars can get in. So we drove in circles to find a way in. This should have been told to him by his boss. He did not know where the abbey was or anything else of importance that we wanted to see. That trip was a waste of time. He was a pleasant enough guide but should know how to get around the areas that he is taking people. I know he was not a tour guide but he should be more informed on how to get to the main attractions of the towns he is traveling to.

This tour was advertised as transport with AC. The AC broke for over an hour in 30 degrees and our driver would not open the window. We made contact with the company and they refused a refund. We would unfortunately not recommend.

We enjoyed this tour to Salzburg. Unfortunately, due to the weather conditions the trip to Eagle’s Nest was cancelled (very quick to offer refund). Islam, our guide quickly changed plans to visit other sites (Modensee) and allowed us to go to places we wanted to see (Red Bull world). He was very friendly and knowledgeable. A very safe driver. The scenery of the Austrian Alps are spectacular.

Petr was good with a long day of driving. He knew a great place to stop for rural pics near the Eagles Nest, so it broke up the morning drive. He found us a fantastic Biergarten in Salzburg for lunch, and walked us to the Fortress. We were exhausted when we got out, and we had a smooth ride back to Munich. Very well done.

We had a fantastic trip. Highly recommend Frank he was so great! Will definitely use next time we are in Munich for another day trip.

Frank was waiting on us at the airport. His ride was super comfortable and clean. His English was very clear. His appearance and demeanor were 5 star professional the entire trip. Even though the transfer was regarded as a transport only service to Eagle’s Nest and then to Salzburg, Frank was very knowledgeable and informative about the area we were in and was very interested in conversation about the region and culture. We enjoyed him. Felt comfortable with him. Would use his services again in a heartbeat.

Frank picked us up from our hotel and took us on an amazing trip to Eagles nest and Salzburg. Frank was an excellent tour guide and took us to multiple places to take pictures. He gave us a great recommendations on restaurants and really made it an incredible trip for our family.
