It really worked out great as he made sure if somebody was hungry he found a place to eat or if we wanted to see something special he seemed to have all the information and answers we needed. Anna was very pleasant and met us at our hotel. Old Town Munich was packed due to this being the start of Oktoberfest. She took us to a few of the sights, such as St. Peter's church and St. Johann's church, both beautiful, as well as the Marienplatz. Beyond that, she took us to the Hofbrauhaus and to the Dallmayr market, neither of which we'd have likely seen on our own. Although it was fine, I'm not sure I'd recommend this tour for the money we paid.

Great experience. Our guide Markus was very enjoyable. He showed us some excellent sites and of Munich. We discussed history of city and current ways of living and lifestyles. He was a very nice and showed me where the shops with cuckoo clocks, as i wanted to purchases and bring home with me back to the states.
It was a great tour I learned so much and after the tour our guide followed up with suggestions of places we asked about and names of locations we passed to go back to.

Our guide, Michelle, was excellent. Very knowledgeable and pleasant she gave us a great overview of the city and covered my area of interest WW2. We had walked much of the old town on our own but she was really able to add great color.
The guide was nice but not knowledgeable. Very slow and boring. We would ask questions about the few places he showed us and his answers were often “I don’t know “ did not even try to look up or find out the answer

Our guide, Naveen, was knowledgeable and personable. We saw a lot of Munich as well as learn quite a lot of the cities history both medieval and WWII with a lengthy discussion of Hitler. Naveen did an excellent job and I would highly recommend him.

Our guide Naveen was super attentive as my son had developed pink eye and needed to a doctor. He was able to make that happen as well as to get the proper prescriptions needed. He also had time to take us on the major part of our tour. We were most grateful.

This tour was fantastic and a great way to learn some of the larger/more well known sites of Munich as well as some local spots. Naveen was so kind, he seemed to have a heart of gold. He took our pre-tour survey very serious and remembered all the details. Naveen met us at our hotel, we took the train to city center and then walked around for a couple of hours. He recommended a great restaurant for us to eat at as well. I really enjoyed it and absolutely recommend.

Naveen was very considerate of our ages ( 75& 79) And our issues ( hearing snd slowness) … yet we managed to still cover all we wanted to see in Munich on 3hrs+ and he was very knowledgeable and “ did his homework “ . He took wonderful pictures and videos for us and gave us help in terms of our train/bus connections in our “ list of things to do the next day”.

Sabina was a great tour guide for Munich. She also happens to have extensive knowledge of best authentic restaurants around and beer making. We were pleasantly surprised that despite being from Rome, she knows so much about Germany and all of the sites. We also enjoyed discussing Rome where we went last year. I would highly recommend her as a guide! Her English was perfect!

Our tour guide Linus was knowledgeable and super funny. We had a small group of just myself and my brother and he handled such a small group seamlessly. It was our first time in Munich. We had walked around the day before and enjoyed it but this tour got us more excited about the city. The tour did not feel rushed it was timed perfectly and we saw so many things in 3 hours. Linus gave us recommendations for museums to visit, restaurants to eat at, pubs to enjoy and so much more. Linus talked about so many interesting historical topics that were related to the buildings and he personalized the tour to us individually. Honestly, after our tour we couldn’t imagine enjoying our trip without this experience. Our tour led by Linus was a highlight in our trip.

Had a 24 hr layover in Munich and glad I booked this tour. It was like having a friend in Munich that is a history and local expert. Was able to walk old town, see the main tourist attractions as well as try some of the food and drink. The church tower was a good start to understand reference points and see the city from higher up. He will tailor the tour to what you want to do, see or experience. He even helped send me back to the airport on the correct train to save some money on a taxi. Would highly recommend.
We had a 1/2 day Munich tour with Anna in early November. She was wonderful! We saw beautiful historical squares, buildings, churches, etc. got to walk inside & learned all the history. She was wonderful!she even snuck us in to see the oldest working mechanical clock in the world right at noon when it went off & completed its animation(pic attached)🤗 We 100% recommend!
Great communication and easy meet up! It was our first day so we were jet lagged but great to get out and walk around the city. Anna was so knowledgeable and took us to an awesome restaurant. Would recommend doing this your first or second day as it was a great way to familiarize yourself with the city.

Michelle was wonderful! We had 3 young, tired kids from long travels and she moved at our pace, gave us a great understanding of the city and great highlights of Munich history. She wove in great stops to keep the kids going (ice cream and river surfing). We would recommend this tour for families looking to explore at their own pace!
The guide was not experienced in the architecture, time frame's or style of any of the sites we visited. This was intended to be a private tour with detailed explanations of the sites. No way this guide had a license to operate as a tour guide. He was also not presentable to perform a tour. When he had something to say he had a hard time providing his point in English. I have been on many tours with Viator and all except this one have been excellent. Not sure who dropped the ball on this one. We did walk 10 miles and he new how to get around to all the sites.
Anna was very knowledgeable and her English was excellent. She was very flexible in learning what interested us and adapting the tour to suit us. We had a great time and thank Anna for a wonderful morning in Munich!

My family and I had a very nice time with Stephan as he took us through the various landmarks of Munich and gave us a very good background of the history of the city. We very much enjoyed learning about the various buildings and our stroll in the English Garden
