Munich Ghosts And Spirits Evening Walking Tour

This walking tour was well run and enjoyable, despite the cold evening (the provided spirits certainly helped). Our guide was knowledgeable and made the evening fun.

We had such a great time with our guide and group, and got to see some areas of the city we hadn't discovered yet. Some spooky stories, some important history, and also some tasty sips along the way! Shout out to Erica!

Our guide was from Greece and she has been in Munich for 8 years and she was so very nice and smart and informative. I was on my own and was nervous but she made me feel so comfortable. I took the 7 pm tour to stay awake and fight jet lag. And this was a great plan. I loved the drinks, history and ghost stories! A 10 out of 10 tour.

Be prepared to walk and be spooked by the stories of the dark side of Munich. Tony is a fabulous guide, so knowledgeable and great sense of humor.

The tour was a lot of fun.“ Spirits“ were unexpected, but fun also. Didn’t seem to “ghost”heavy, but the guide did a good job at entertaining us.

Fun evening event, but the focus on the drinking was a bit much. There were no entrances into haunted areas, just stops while walking the streets. I'd recommend this for folks looking for something to do in Munich in the evening, but not for hard core ghost tour folks. The guide was very knowledgeable of history, and very personable.

Myself and my husband booked this tour as part of our trip to Munich and really glad we did. Meeting point was very easy to locate. Our guide Erica was super friendly and knowledgeable - she took time to chat to all guests individually and made everyone feel welcomed and at ease. The tour was really interesting and we learned a lot about the area and the spooks and spirits that are around! It also helped us to see some of the sights that we hadn’t seen yet even though we had been there for 2 days! Would definitely recommend including this as part of your trip!

Erica is fun and engaging. We totally loved her stories and the history she shared about Munich. The “spirits” were woven into the walking nicely without having to stop inside establishments that always take up too much time. Loved this aspect of the tour. Would definitely recommend this tour AND Erica!

This was my first tour and I had such a fantastic time! He was very knowledgeable and kept us all laughing.

Overall the night tour was great, there was a lot of ghostly stories and historical facts woven into the evening. Our tour guide, I think it was Victoria was amazing and theatrical in her presentation.

A wonderful way to hear some great ghost stories and history about Munich. Tony was an awesome guide and the shots sure did help on a rainy night.

One of the worst ghost tours we have been on. The guide was very nice, but not a storyteller and said "umm" or "sorry If forget to tell you this part first" through the entire tour. Halfway through I wanted to leave but decided to stay with the group just for the views. Would not reccomend.

The tour guide acted uncertain of what he was doing, as though he was a last minute option for the primary guide(s) being absent.

I purchased as a gift for my colllege-age son and his friends studying abroad. They had a great time and found it fun as well as educational. They also enjoyed the spirits!

I’m sorry to say that we did not enjoy our tour. I’m not sure whether this was due to a language barrier or perhaps unfamiliarity with some of the material, but we found it difficult to connect with the guide and stay engaged. She was very nice, and I don’t mean this as a criticism of her personally, but unfortunately the tour did not meet our expectations

Tony was a fantastic guide, he was very clear and had an excellent knowledge of what he was describing. We didn't just have ghost stories, we were also given some history of the city along side which made it a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We would definitely recommend this tour.

WHAT FUN! Our guide Tony was an absolute DREAM guide. So much so, we were at a stop and three women who took the same tour earlier in the week said how much better Tony did relating the story to the Red Ridinghood fountain than their guide. His passion for story telling, his engagement with the crowd and overall dispoistion was a 10/10. This was a great way to see a lot of sites of Munich without fighting the day time crowds. If you book and you get an option, ask for Tony!

We did the Munich Ghosts and Spirits tour our last night in Germany. It was amazing, we cannot recommend this tour enough! Hugo is so engaging, knowledgeable, and witty about everything. He was the best! Thank you Hugo!

Hugo was awesome made it fun and interesting.

This tour was excellent from beginning to end. The starting point was very easy to find. Our guide, Erica, vas very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and friendly. We did a good amount of walking, with frequent stops where Erica would tell us about a location, its history, and also tell us about the ghosts and spirits that were reported to inhabit the area. There was a fair amount of history included in the talks, so the tour would appeal to people who perhaps don’t want to accept the haunted parts of the tour. Considering the history of Munich some of the tour gets a bit dark so maybe leave the really little kids home. Overall a really enjoyable tour, a pleasant walk, and a great evening with a fantastic guide.

Tony was a great guide (enthusiastic, knowledgeable, didn't let us get lost) and this was a nifty introduction to Munich.

This is more than just a ghost tour. The guide shared a lot of history and gave recommendations on where to go and things to do. This is a great tour. Don't miss it!

Tony was a great guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to many different sites around Munich and entertained us with many ghost stories and folklore. Tony was not in a hurry and gave us a full 2.5 hour interesting tour. I would recommend taking the tour and we really enjoyed the content and our guide.

This tour had stories for everyone! From ancient Bavarian mythology to more modern history stories involving Bavarian monarchs, my family learned so much during this outing. We were in town for Oktoberfest and were looking for something to do outside of the main festival for one day and we're so glad we found this Ghosts & Spirits Walking Tour. Our guide Gigi was a treat! I've just learned it was only her first month giving tours when she took us out in September. You could not tell at all, she was so comfortable walking us around and very confident and knowledgeable in her stories. We had so many questions and she had all the answers for us. Thanks Gigi!!! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Munich, it is such a fun way to get a feel for the city accompanied by some spooky tales. (The local Bavarian "spirits" help as well).

We learned some new history that they don’t tell you on the regular tours and ghosts aren’t included on the tour.Three shots included!
