Munich Austrian Alps, Hallstatt, And Salzburg Private Day Trip

Lake Halstatt was on our bucket list and it did not disappoint. We wanted our own experience and being able to book a private tour was perfect. Our guide/driver Christian did a wonderful job pointing out lots of historical and points of interest along the way. In addition he knew the best view points to take photos and see what we wanted along the way. Salzburg was also very fun walking around old town. Christian found us a great lunch place that was delicious and nice quiet spot to relax for a little bit. I highly recommend this tour, well worth the money.

We took this tour with Daetz-Service through Viator and it was an absolute dream! The tour guide picked us up from our hotel in Munich and we began the tour from there. The luxury vehicle was very nice and was a convenient and comfortable way for us to see two of our dream locations: Salzburg and Hallstatt. The tour guide was very professional with good knowledge of the area and made the trip as smooth as possible. We had good flexibility to stay in each location as long as we wanted. Both Salzburg and Hallstatt were more beautiful than the many pictures we had seen and it was a great experience from start to finish. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience these gorgeous locations.

I very much enjoyed this private tour with Phillip. He was an amazing driver/guide, and I had a wonderful time. I booked a private trip because I like the flexibility it allowed me to go at my own pace and spend as much or as little time at each place as I wanted. Phillip was very helpful with advice/tips/guidance, but left me to myself to explore at my own pace. I highly recommend this trip for those who like the flexibility of siteseeing at their own pace.

Overall a great experience allowing us to see parts of Austria. The views were spectacular. We only wish we had more time to see more.

When our guide, Philip, arrived in a BMW with cold drinks, snacks & free wi-Fi, we knew we were in for an A+ adventure. Having lived a few years in the United States, Philip’s English was excellent. His vast knowledge of the history of Hallstatt & Salzburg kept us engaged. He welcomed our questions and the day trip through the Austrian Alps was filled with magical views you would see on a postcard. One highlight of the day was our first Wiener Schnitzel (Viennese style). Philip knew where to go for the best of everything! Thanks Philip.

What a beautiful tour! Philip made our day so enjoyable from picking us up at the hotel, providing snacks and water for the drive and showing us some of the hidden gems of Austria. We had a great trip with our driver and guide, Philip. He was on time, very knowledgeable and informative of the history of the area. The drive was so comfortable. Philip even carried our luggage and took us to the airport hotel after our tour. I plan on using him again for tours out of Germany in the future!

Driver half sleepy when he drove otw to Hallstatt, then he opened the window to make himself awake, its good at least he realized that he was sleepy when i booked the trip, it was said drinks, snacks and wifi on board was provided, but none of them are provided, till i sent emailed to complain, then driver bought us some bottle waters, only bottle waters

Phillip took us on a tour of Hallstadt and Salzburg on one day, then the Alps on the next day. His attention to our personalized needs was excellent. The car was very comfortable and his driving was fast yet very comfortable. I would not hesitate to hire them for a private tour. The communication upfront was very, very good.

Andy, our driver, picked us up at our hotel in a Mercedes Benz van and we had a pleasant day touring Hallstatt and Salzburg. We enjoyed the conversation and Andy was very accommodating with our schedule as we changed some things on the fly, such as stopping at the RB Salzburg Football Stadium for my sons to see and buy a souvenir. It was also nice that Andy stopped at various slots on our journey for picture taking opportunities and knowledge transfer. A first class day.
