This tour exceeded my exceptions! Along with an extensive tour of Allianz Arena we also got a fantastic tour of the city of Munich. Martina, our tour guide, seamlessly transitioned from English to German and made sure our English-speaking group was taken care of throughout. This tour is best for anyone that is interested in soccer/Bayern Munich but also serves as a good way to see the city. We took it on our first day in Munich and were able to cross quite a few sights off our list just from the bus tour. I highly recommend this tour!

Patricia (Guide) and Andre (driver) were superb and couldn’t have been better hosts. They were very welcoming and knew all the facts about Munich and Bayern FC. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the trip and couldn’t be happier with the tour
Faisan was very informative, helpful and friendly! Despite the weather being awful, he made it enjoyable by telling us the stories associated with the castles we saw today.
The tour was great as promised despite the weather trying to play spoilsport. Everything from the itinerary was covered in just enough time, with clear directions and information from the guide (Faizan), along with a good lunch recommendation that sets you up for the mystic Neuschwanstein tour. Overall a very nice experience.
Our October trip to Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Castles was fantastic, thanks especially to Eva, the best tour guide I’ve encountered in all my travels across different countries! Her exceptional knowledge, organization, and thoughtful timing made the experience truly memorable. From the way she managed the itinerary to keeping everyone on schedule, everything was seamlessly coordinated. One thing I certainly learned from this trip was the importance of German punctuality! She is an incredible asset to the company and deserves special recognition! The bus was spotless and comfortable. My only suggestion is to extend the tour by an hour, allowing more time at Neuschwanstein to enjoy the famous bridge, scenery, and souvenir shops without feeling rushed. Overall, an unforgettable experience, made exceptional by Eva!
It was a good tour though the tour of the arena itself was very fast. It was 1 hour of a 5 hour tour. We had purposely booked an English speaking tour but it was bilingual. That would not be a problem but the ratio was around 75% German, 25% English. But it is a very impressive arena and we're glad we did it.
We booked with our son who is a wheelchair user and prior to going we had concerns that the tour wouldn't be for us. Well, it was and it was brilliant! Firstly, booking was made so easy by contacting directly and Ollie who we dealt with answered every conceivable question we had in fluent English. Due to our own time restrictions we had to book onto the Disabled Access Tour in German as the English tour was full. Our German is embarrassingly poor (limited to Danke and bitte!), so we fully expected the tour to be a visual one only. However. Veronica who was our tour guide was fabulous! She apologised at the start that it was a German tour but she would add in bits of English and apologised that her English "wasn't very good". She was being modest, her English was brilliant and she gave us so much of an insight into the club and stories and facts in perfect English (which we were very grateful for). Getting around woth our son's wheelchair was made easy too and we even got pitchside which made our son's day! Really informative tour and a brilliant guide, well worth the trip from Wales to Munich. A must do for any football fan.
Firstly we made a mistake reading the booking details so we made our own way out to the stadium. We met the group there and completed the stadium tour. However we tried several times to contact gray line and the customer services to no avail. We then asked the tour guide could we get on the coach on the way home but she informed us that there was no room on the bus which we couldn’t understand as our two seats should still have been available
enjoyed every bit of the visit! very friendly guide and professional, a unique experience!
The whole day was brilliant & lived up to expectations, the bus guide flipping between German & English was perfect
The tour of the Allianz stadium itself was terrific. Great guide and we got to see all the important areas of the stadium. Could have got that for the price of less than EUR 20 a ticket though. Instead I paid more than 5x that for a Munchen tour guide in a bus with horrific audio equipment. The guide spoke ONto the mic for 2 hours and it was impossible to hear a word of what she said. My advice: buy your tickets on the website of the stadium directly. You just need to book early.
Not a very good guide Left me and my 11 year old grandson behind and had to make our own way back not happy
Loved seeing the stadium! Great to have transportation arranged so we didn’t get lost! Tour guide did great!
The complete tour was fantastic very well organised very informative very good value for the money would definitely recommend it
Not wheelchair accessible even after the website and customer service confirming that the tour is accessible. We had to return disappointed. We have visited other stadium tours and it is possible to make these accessible, Allianz is not disabled friendly.
Nice tour. Alfred and Patricia were lovely. Stadium tour was very interesting - bit too much free time though.
You get to see a bit of Munich whilst travelling to the stadium with commentary so you learn about the city and the football club. The entry is very smooth and you get time for a meal in the restaurant which is reasonably priced. The club shop is similarly good value when compared to English clubs. The tour was very informative and immersive with all key parts of the ground covered. The guide was vey knowledgeable and included the whole group. I was pleasantly surprised that we were allowed to go down the players tunnel and onto the entrance to the pitch (but obviously not onto it) as the Champions' League music played. A very good tour and highly recommended.
Good city tour of Munich and a stadium tour of the Allianz Arena. Length of the tour was perfect and the cost was well worth the money paid.
The FC Bayern Munich tour was just amazing. We had a wonderful guide both inside the bus and also at the stadium. The bus was very comfortable with open roof so we had great views from the bus. The guide was very enthusiastic and kept up a wonderful commentary, She also engaged with my 8 year old by asking him questions. My tour booking was Booking reference ID XYK631951. TOURCMS|5887|59559731 Please pass on my appreciation to the guide as I apologize I cant recollect her name
Patrizia did an excellent job of making the sights of Munich interesting. She was easy to listen to, knowledgeable, and seemed so very nice and friendly in all respects. She was on top of things from the start. I would highly recommend her as a tour guide. Now for the negative. One of the travellers had obviously booked the wrong thing and so half the tour (on an english speaking tour) was given in German. It felt like the couple who had messed up, and budded in front of us in line in a rush, was given a private tour. No big deal, compassionate of Patrizia but it seemed like there was a lot of German being spoken. Mike, the tour guide from FC Bayern, is absolutely NOT a good tour guide. He simply displayed no passion or care and was very hard to hear and understand. The place is great, it was neat to see, but a guide who seemed interested in doing the job is a must. Mike is not that guy, word to the wise. He seemed only interested in being finished.
Excellent trip to Bayern Munich stadium along with city tour. The gudie was very friendly and explained everything in both German and English.
This was a wonderful experience which included an informative journey around Munich and an extensive tour of FC Bayern Munich. The tour guide provided fantastic detail of the many Munich sites and history in both English and German. During the FC Bayern Munich stadium tour, we got to visit the museum, sit in various parts of the stadium (including the comfortable dugout seats), spend time in the home dressing room, and sit in the conference room seats. It was truly amazing.
We took this tour because my son is a big soccer fan. We were traveling with 3 kids (ages 10, 9, and 5) and my parents who are senior citizens. When I read over the details of the tour it sounded like an English tour but it was both German and English. The Munich panorama tour was not great, the speaker was so loud to the point of giving everyone a headache and since it was in both German and English there was no break in sound for 45 min on the bus to Allianz. The tour pick up was delayed due to some late stragglers even though they asked for people to be there 30 min before 10 am. The tour gets you back at the same spot at 3:00 pm. The tour of the Allianz stadium could have been better timed. You have essentially 50 min for the museum, gift shop, and to get food, and use the toilet...it's impossible to do all so prioritize. The tour itself of the stadium was good but not meant for smaller children and elderly people. There's is A LOT of walking and climbing up and down stairs. Our tour guide for the stadium tour was speed walking until he realized we had senior citizens and smaller children in our group and then paced appropriately. Overall if you can book the tour of just the stadium and coordinate the travel to the stadium yourself then that would give you more flexibility and time. The weather was rainy and cold but that's no one's fault. It was all the other downfalls of th tour that makes me not recommend it for families that have a wide range of ages.
This package was a real winner! It kicked off with a city tour that gave us loads of ideas for future visits, and it was super helpful for anyone worried about the language barrier. The hosts were great, presenting everything in both German and English, and even during the stadium tour, they split the groups so you’re always with speakers of your own language. Nice touch! There’s a bit of flexibility too. If you want to hang around the stadium after the tour, you can, but you’ll need to find your own way back. The city tour itself was spot-on, hitting all the key sights with clear, engaging commentary. Now, if you’re in Munich and even slightly into football, you have to check this place out. Whether you’re a hardcore fan or just curious, it’s a brilliant experience. We spent a good chunk of the day there and honestly, it was totally worth it. The whole setup is really well done. You start with the museum, which is packed with cool stuff—historic moments, trophies, jerseys, and loads of interactive displays. There’s so much to take in, so don’t rush it! We got completely absorbed in the stories and exhibits, especially if you’re into the game. After the museum, we jumped on the stadium tour. It runs at set times and is super organised. The guides really know their stuff. Walking through the players’ tunnel, getting up close to the pitch, and sitting in the press room, it all gives you that behind-the-scenes buzz. Even with empty stands, you can feel the match day energy. To finish off, we browsed the club shop. It’s huge and packed with gear, whether you’re after a souvenir or a full kit, you’ll find something. We didn’t eat there, but the food court looked solid, with plenty of options. All in all, a brilliant way to spend a few hours in Munich. Just make sure you give yourself enough time for the museum, it is not something you want to breeze through!
Came out to Munich with my brother for Oktoberfest from London and really wanted to visit the Allianz for a tour at the very least and we got an English tour from a guy named Franz who was super knowledgeable and quite funny too. If you’re English speaking and want to take up this tour I would totally recommend it, especially if Franz is showing you around. As a Man Utd fan it was awesome to visit another big club that’s actually run like one
This was a wonderful, up close look at soccer life! My grandson loved it!! It was just enough time to see the museum and the tour of Allianz Stadium was amazing!
Family of five did the tour of the stadium. It’s easy to access on the U Bahn and then less than ten minute walk from the nearest station. We did an English tour which took and hour and was really good. It’s a very impressive modern stadium and I’d love to see a game there. We went during the holidays, lots of people but tours going on all the time. I would book in advance to get on an English speaking one. The museum is excellent as well and frankly having done a similar thing at Old Trafford this was way better. Club shop is good but it was £20 cheaper for us to get the kids new shirts with names on the back from the UK as they are retailing at 100 Euros!
Tour guide was very informative about various subjects - football clubs in Munich, beer, local history, local economy, etc. Arrive early to get seats on the top floor of the tour bus. if you like to have better views during the city tour. Favourite part of tour: having my son run out into football pitch with champions league music playing and sitting in the team bench.
The tour of the stadium was great, and Rainer was a really fun and enthusiastic guide who gave us lots of interesting information not just about Byron Munich, but also about the city and the history of football in the city. My main criticism would be for TripAdvisor, because we had only wanted a stadium tour but instead were directed by Tripadvisor to this tour which while really excellent and informative was not exactly what we wanted, cost considerably more than just a stadium tour. Absolutely no criticism of the tour: it was great, it was just more expensive and took 4 hours instead of just going to the stadium which would have been 2 hours. This is what happens when Tripadvisor is trying to get a cut of the money.
Easily the most unorganised tour we have ever been on and the description is very misleading. We had a 90 minute tour of the outskirts of Munich before arriving at the stadium where the guide, Patricia, took us back and forth as she didn’t have the tickets for us to enter and did not know where to get them from. We were then left with just 20 minutes to explore the vast museum before our tour time, no time to look around the shop and were expected to get straight back on the bus for another hour. Needless to say, we stayed at the stadium to have a proper look around d the outside and to go in the shop and made our own way back.
This was a great tour!!! The main positive was that it included a city tour with the stadium tour. The guides were very knowledgeable. Bus was also very comfortable. Go for the top deck of the bus to get a better perspective during the city tour.
This is a great way to combine seeing the fantastic Alliance stadium and the amazing sites of Munich. Everything is very professional, well planned and very informative. Our company tour guide was most efficient with commentary in both English and German with a very comprehensive knowledge of the city and it's history. She then accompanied us on the stadium tour which was handled by a most efficient and patient English speaking guide having to deal with a party of over 25. Everything was kept on a tight schedule and the whole experience turned out to be much more than expected, so overall a most enjoyable day out covering all the aspects of two important features of Munich.
The stadium and museum tour was excellent. Well organised and the guide in the stadium was really great.
The tour of the stadium was excellent. Tour guide Wolfgang did a great job taking us around the stadium and explaining the different things about the stadium. Melanie was the tour guide on the bus and she also did a nice job pointing out the different sites throughout the city.
Tour not accessible. It is not for babies in strollers or elderly people, because there are many stairs, and none of this is mentioned when you buy the tour online. We had to carry a 10kg baby for the entire tour. I do not recommend it, especially because it was not even that interesting to be worth the effort. Santiago Bernabeu was much better.
Best part was the stadium tour with guide from the stadium - even for those who don’t follow soccer .
The city tour of Munich was okay (the description said this was in English but it was actually German first and then English) but the real great part was the Arena tour with lots of behind the scenes access including the press room, locker room, and the player entrance to the stadium, as well as a short stay on the grass. The bus driver was super grumpy and unhelpful but our tour guide, Martina, was amazing.
Great experience, had an amazing few hours here, tour was brilliant, museum is a must, so much to see, club shop was excellent too, my son absolutely loved it.
The personal touch we had at the arena tour with only 4 English speaking people or guide took us and did our own tour and it was amazing
Melanie was great - her English was amazing and she managed to keep 50+ people on track by herself. Commentary was great - if you love all things football this is for you - old grounds, new grounds, training grounds, history, and an all access stadium tour with very comprehensive museum. Only challenge would be - just bring people straight back - it’s enough to do the pre tour of Munich football sights and the stadium. Once again thanks to Melanie and our driver.
The tour with Gunther and Melony was definitely worth it. The trip was well organized and melony gave us fun facts about the city as we drove by. The stadium tour was awesome and loved every minute of it. It is wise to book with them
We were taken and brought on time, we'll organized. The stadium tour covered every thing a bayern fan would enjoy. Definitely recommend doing this on your trip to munich.
I’m not a soccer fan but is very impressive how many trophies they have and how competitive they are!!
the bayen munich change rooms and press room was such a awesome. walking down to the ground was my major highlight
Certainly the Allianz Arena tour is the must of this tour packet . Amazing visit of the Bayern Munich Team infrastructure .. But the city tour is not at the same level.. Poor in stops and far away of the monuments.
Purchased 2 tickets for me and my son for the Arena guided tour. When I can with my car to park, the gatekeeper requested 5 Euros payment in cash for being able to park. It happened that I only had credit card with me and did not have any cash. The gatekeeper refused to let me park since as he mentioned, only cash is accepted. I was trying to tell him that I already purchased tickets for me and my son, but my attempts to convince him did not help and I had to leave the parking area. Since the tour was about to start and I did not want my son to miss it, I decided that he will go alone to start the tour on time, while I was drivimg to find an ATM nearby. To keep things short, my son was able to get to the tour on time, while I missed 20 minutes of it trying to get some cash (thanks to a manager there, I was able to rrejoin the guided tour my son was in). This was a very dissapointing experience for me having to be late for tour and leave my son alone to hang around for finding cash, just because I did not have 5 Euros cash with me while I already paid 50 Euros for the tickets. There is no mention anywhere during the reservation of tickets that people should come with cash and that otherwise they will lose the money they already paid for tickets and will not join the tour. I expect much more from such a big football club. Other than this, the tour was great.
The only hard part was to find the initial bus to go around and into the Arena, the rest was very nice.
This tour of the FC Bayern Munich football ground and museum is really worth a few hours, especially if you have any footy fans. It is super simple to book direct on the clubs website and at €25 it is significantly cheaper than going on an organised trip. The U6 train goes direct to the stadium and it is a 5min walk from the station. You wait inside for your tour to start at the allocated time and the guide then takes you around the stadium etc.
This is a large tour bus and the guide switches between German and English as he speaks. It was a little hard to hear and understand. We saw a lot of the city on the ride to and from the stadium. At the stadium they seperate the groups by language which made it easier. The stadium tour was excellent.
Allianz stadium tour was good, but bus tour couldn't really see much. No stopping at sites for pictures. Just drove straight to the stadium.
