Overall, the hotel is good and the location is very convenient. The metro station is right next to the hotel, and there is a shopping mall directly connected nearby, which makes transportation, dining, and shopping very easy. However, there were several issues during my stay. The air conditioning was very inconsistent—some days the room was cold, while on other days it became uncomfortably warm, and I even woke up during the night because of the heat. Housekeeping also entered the room too quickly without properly waiting or making sure no one was inside. Even when the “Do Not Disturb” sign is not displayed, staff should knock clearly and allow enough time before entering. I also requested an iron, and when the staff member delivered it, he suddenly knocked very loudly on the door, which was quite startling. The hotel is generally decent, and the location is its strongest advantage, but the air-conditioning system and staff approach to guest privacy need improvement.

Location is good around 25-30 minutes from the city center by subway. It is far from the airport the taxi costed eur 123 which was more than the price of the room per night. Breakfast is expensive. If you like to eat light or on a budget, than there are plenty of options next door as it is close to the mall and two people can easily eat at price of one. Size of the room is adequate: not big not small but I think the shower area is small and could have been given some more room. every time I turned my elbow will hit the wall. Staff is wonderful always smiling and helpful. Overall good!

I was not going to do this but after what happened today, I feel quite unable to let everything go. My review will go from bad to worse: 1. Very disgusting towel hung and the cover of the blanket is too short for the blanket. See photos. 2. After I check-in I go to eat downstairs and come to a fully open door. A technican kneeling down the window as he was asked to fix a window. But as I wasn't informed about it, my underwear and bra are lying around. A Tiffany ring in its box and my wallet on the bed. A door open fully inviting anyone to grab my wallet from the bed when the technician is there. The management apologised but also told me to lock the door. Really? I don't have to think of this. But because of the apology and understanding, I had decided to let it go. But then.... 3. Last day, I have not checked out yet. Around 10am my door knocked ONCE and then they say I'm sorry and go. It was the housekeeping. On checkout days, noone should come in until one checks out. But I thought oversight happens. But then... 4. Right after that my door knocked AGAIN ONCE AND OPENED before I can say anything and the woman closes apologising. I go now to the door pretty upset and she tells me I should have put the DND sign and that she came for the minibar. I told her I am checking out there is no need for anyone to come in until then. Not to mention, there is no bottle opener, so what is it to be there for? What is going on in this hotel? I travel 60% of the year and NEVER has this happened to me. Never! Now I am upset and this review after a 3rd time opening my door like this, Novotel deserves this review. Women: if you come here, tape the DND sign because it falls off the handle and LOCK from inside. What in the world?!

This review is for the more than wonderful employee who was working the afternoon shift on 23/5. If I remember correctly, her name was Nona or Nina . I’m a person who is very particular about cleanliness, and I was bothered by a very small stain on the bed sheet. However, she immediately offered me another room, offered to have the room cleaned again, and even gave me a coupon to buy a juice from the bar. She was quick to respond, kind, smiling, and never complained. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. The man at the bar was also very kind and welcoming. A good hotel to stay at for one night before heading to the airport.
