Hotel Astor Munchen

Me & my colleague were on a business trip & unfortunately we had to face racism by one of the older gentlemen who mans the breakfast area. Post our breakfast, we were told to leave by the back door pantry area & not use the main door. We went all the way down & exited at back side of the hotel. We had to figure out how to come to front area as all passages were closed. Not at all a good experience. However, the reception manager Rehan was very helpful when he came to know & strict action was taken. Next day the breakfast team was very courteous. So apart from this incident, the overall experience was good.

I wish (every) receptionists know more about the ways how their client get to the airport, and i wish internet is accesible in every room. Putting wifi access point to each floor/room may be taken into account. Except that, cleaning and breakfast were so good and enough. The neighborhood isn't great and it gets quite loud at night, including ambulance sirens. Just be aware of this and manage your expectations if you plan to book here.

I stayed for one week at Astor hotel and I can say that it worth the money. The hotel is perfectly located in a walking distance from the main attractions at Munich, just 6 min walking from Munich central station where you can take the train to literally any and every where. The highlight of the stay was Ms. Nasima at the reception, she was very attentive and friendly, when I asked to change my room because the previous guest seems to smoked at it and the room smells smoke she immediately found a solution to me and helped me packing again. One advice, ask for a back room as the front rooms can be noisy.

Hotel Astor Munich is a comfortable and well-located place to stay, especially if you want easy access to the city and public transport. The rooms are clean, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are generally helpful, making it a convenient option for a short stay. Mr. Ahmad, the manager, was professional and helpful whenever needed, which added to the overall positive experience.
