Public transport is at least 600 meters away, no direct connections to the city center. There is no swimming pool, probably outdated information on Google. The interior of hotel and the rooms is not as per IHG standards. Would not prefer to visit again. Bed is comfortable, hotel is okay just to sleep but not good if you want to enjoy the hotel experience and enjoy your vacation in Munich.
We stayed here during Oktoberfest and the amenities are awesome. My boyfriend is a Diamond Member so we had the privilege of enjoying the incredible breakfast. It was full of artisan breads and fruits! Pretzels and mushrooms were spectacular! Beds were comfy and they even had a sauna and gym which we wished were open later. Location is kind of boring🤷♀️
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An outstanding hotel with excellent service! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine kindness and professionalism. The reception staff, including the Egyptian team members and their German colleagues, were incredibly friendly, respectful, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well organized. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. A big thank you to the entire team for their hospitality and exceptional service. You truly made our visit to Cologne even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cologne. I will definitely be happy to stay here again in the future
Overall, it was a clean and comfortable hotel. There are just two things to keep in mind: the rooms don’t have a refrigerator, and getting to the city center takes some time. You’ll need to walk for about 10 minutes to reach the bus or U-Bahn, and the total journey usually takes around 30 to 40 minutes. If you prefer taking the S-Bahn, it’s about a 17–20 minute walk from the hotel to the station.
We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Munich and would happily return in the future. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for throughout our stay from 24/04/26 to 29/04/26. A special thank you to Anivaldo, one of the managers, who truly went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied with every aspect of our stay. Although the construction work happening on our side of the hotel never bothered us and we never even mentioned it, he proactively offered to move us to a quieter side of the hotel simply to make sure we had the best possible experience. That level of attention and care really stood out to us and showed how dedicated he is to guest satisfaction. We would also like to give a special mention to Claudia from the breakfast team, who was always incredibly kind, warm, and lovely to speak with each morning. Her friendly attitude made breakfast a genuinely pleasant part of our day. Thank you again to the whole team for such a comfortable and memorable stay in Munich!
