Haus Im Tal

Great location, just a stone’s throw from Marienplatz, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The train station is also only about a 4-minute walk away. For check-in, you need to ring the bell downstairs, and the staff will open the door for you to access the 5th floor reception. There is a lift, so getting large luggage to the room was easy. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and the staff were friendly. We were also offered a complimentary drink, with a choice of hot coffee or a cold drink, which was a nice touch. The room was slightly small but clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable for two people, and the air conditioning worked extremely well! We actually felt quite cold at night! 😄 The room was also well equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, shampoo, body wash, facial towels and shower towels. The soundproofing was surprisingly good despite the central location, as we hardly heard any noise during our stay. A fun little highlight was being able to enjoy live music while in the bathroom! Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for its excellent location, comfortable room and friendly service.

This Hotel is top notch. It is a beautiful boutique hotel in the perfect location. Their breakfast every day is incredible. Their rooms are modern and new and spotless clean. I would have given a full 5 star review except for the function of the air conditioning. We were there during an exceptional heat wave and the rooms were warm. We went on to other cities where the same weather existed and the rooms were cooled by portable AC unit in each room. I would suggest this hotel consider that also. Haus im Tal and the staff are exceptional! We highly recommend this hotel.

I stay in a lot of hotels, but Haus im Tal genuinely stands out. What impressed me most is how they've managed to keep such a warm, family-run feel — not too big, not too small, just the right size to feel personal. My room came with a lovely little balcony, which was a charming touch. The WhatsApp concierge service was fast and attentive, and the whole team was wonderful — always ready to help immediately and happy to make anything possible. You really get the sense that every guest here is looked after with care and promised the best possible experience. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

Big thank you to Aiden and Sheriff! Both were so personable and welcoming after a long travel day and prepared yummy drinks and morning coffee for us. 🙂Great location. We stayed as a family of 4 in the downtown apt. Nights were quiet and easy to sleep. I would recommend staying here as it’s very central and only 2 stops from the main train station and an easy 3 min walk once you hop off the Marienplatz stop. I felt like everything was accurately described and shown on the website and everybody I corresponded with over email was very kind and helpful. I would stay here again!
