Well. Overall this accommodation doesn’t really make anything wrong. But we spent two nights there and till leaving we didn’t well comfortable there. And I can not even really explain why. For sure the rooms (comfort double, view towards inner area) are very simple, less cozy and feel a bit outdated. Additionally the smell was not that convenient in a certain way. We did not have breakfast there as 23€ per person per morning is quite expensive and there are so many different opportunities in the neighbourhood which in total are cheaper. Parking cost 25€ per night. I recommend to look for public parking next street left (Paul-Heyse-Street) with 11€ for 24hrs.

Checked in today and were immediately disappointed. We didn’t realize how much where you’re staying can impact your overall trip until now. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was rude and unwelcoming, which made for a poor first impression. When we got to our room, it felt like there was little to no air conditioning, making it very uncomfortable, and there were also flies in the room. We went back to the front desk to ask about a refund because the hotel was nothing like we expected and honestly felt more like a hostel than a hotel. They refused a refund but did move us to a different room. While we appreciated being switched, the interaction with the staff was still unpleasant and unprofessional. To top it off, the location is not good and did not feel like a place we were comfortable staying. Overall, this hotel did not match the expectations set by its listing, and we would not stay here again.
Perfect. The location, the staff and service, the breakfast, everything was perfect. We had a small room, but it was clean and very well appointed. Bar, lovely terrace for drinks etc. Quirky neighbourhood. Recommended.
Beautiful hotel, amazing service but the area around the hotel is unfortunately horrible. Being a young couple, walking through the surrounding streets towards the city was an extremely uncomfortable walk for the both of us but particularly my girlfriend, the looks we had from local residents were disgusting, it felt dodgy and unsettling to walk through during the day and the early evening so much so we didn’t venture from the hotel at night. The facilities inside the hotel itself were great and staff were really helpful but if you’re a young couple or even just a woman be very careful and prepared to feel unbelievably uncomfortable on all of the surrounding streets.
Overall, it was value for money and I recommend it. I had the double room and it was spacious, I could also work on the desk for a day. The location is nice, close to many amenities and there is nearby a bicycle/scooter to rent and park. The neighborhood felt a bit weird at night for a woman alone, however this might have been a feeling of mine as I am more cautious when night-walking alone. The room and towels were clean, bathroom had warm water any time, there was also a full body mirror and space to open up luggage conveniently.
